The store is beautiful and clean, staff is super nice and helpful. They took care of everything. I purchased my dress and veil from them, we also rented the groom’s and best man’s vests and ties, everything was great and easy!

I had the BEST experience at Celebrations of the Heart with Melanie and Andi! Before my dress appointment, they were in contact with me about what I was looking for and all of the details - it made it so much more personal and exciting! When we got there, they had some dresses picked out that were similar to the pictures I had sent them and then some they thought would look good on me that weren’t styles I had thought of! They were so attentive while allowing me to have my own opinions! I am so thankful for them! After I picked my dress, they were in contact with me throughout my entire engagement period - which I have truly appreciated! This is the PLACE to go!!

After having a few bad experiences at other salons I was skeptical that I would have a good experience BUT WOW. I cannot say enough good things. Everyone I came in contact with was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and made sure that I was comfortable and heard. I love how they follow up with me as well. From the beginning when booking the appointment the experience was amazing! They ensure to get an idea of style prior to the appointment. Throughout trying dresses on I had a dress in mind from the start which Melanie was aware of. We tried others on before and after the dress to compare! After the dress was ordered it was nice to receive updates through text and work with them to pick up and drop off my dress following alterations. Blown away by the customer service of Celebrations of the Heart! As a KSU grad I always eyed those beautiful gowns on Poyntz knowing one day Id have my moment to be a bride they helped say yes to the dress! They did just that, and were amazing to work with from trying on dresses, to answering all my newly engaged questions! My dress even came in early, and I was able to set an appointment to have the shop to myself to keep things safe during the pandemic. They recommended the best alternations person in Topeka, where I live and the whole experience went seamless. Melanie and her team made my dress shopping experience easy, fun, and carefree. I’m a plus size girl and a few other shops I went to didn’t have sample dresses close to my size so I felt even bigger. Celebrations’ dresses made me feel gorgeous and I didn’t have to imagine it fitting correctly; the dresses were only 1 or 2 sizes off my street size 20 person. There was a vast selection of dresses even for girls in my size. My dress was very unique and absolutely perfect. The girls took care of steaming my dress and my grandmas veil and made me feel stunning even though I had to wear a walking boot. I would highly recommend this shop to any bride!!

I had a wonderful experience with Melanie when looking for my wedding dress last year! I knew from the beginning I wanted to go to Celebrations of the Heart, but put it off and looked at other locations and didn’t have any luck. I found several and then MY dress. The selection of dresses was amazing and my moment in the store was emotional. I loved that Melanie included my mom who lived out of state via zoom call so she could be there with me trying on dresses. Everything going forward was easy peasy! I came back and we ordered all of our bridesmaids dress through Celebrations as well. They were all gorgeous and communicating with Melanie and Andi was easy, they even recommended local seamstresses to us, since each girl was from a different town. Lastly, I loved the messages and support I got from Melanie. I received messages the night before my wedding wishing me luck and congratulations on my wedding day and they even commented on my wedding photos telling me I looked beautiful in my dress! The girls at Celebrations of the Heart made me feel so incredibly special. They have such a huge selection but took the time to listen to what I wanted and showed me things I didn’t even know I was looking for. Buying my dress at Celebrations of the Heart was one of THE BEST decisions Ive ever made. It was actually the third store I went dress shopping at. Anna, who helped me find my dress was so amazing, so patient, and so helpful. She was personable and super encouraging but also very real with me on decision making, which I appreciated the most. At the other places I went to, I felt like the ladies were almost trying to rush me by over-complimenting every single dress I tried on and I honestly didnt really trust their opinion since I knew that they were only trying to make a sale. But, at Celebrations, Anna was perfect. She didnt rush me. I got to try on plenty of dresses. She didnt show me ones out of my price range (thank goodness). And most of all, when I wanted to admit that in the back of my mind, I didnt love a certain dress, Id be like ehhh and shed AGREE and say yeah Im not sure this one is working out the way we hoped and get me another one. I TOTALLY felt like she had my back with her honesty and advice!!! Then when I went in to pick up my dress, she was SUPER helpful again with talking about bridesmaids dresses regarding style and color. I do not have enough good things to say about Celebrations of the Heart! They were so friendly to me, my family and bridesmaids as soon as we walked through the door. Melanie was so amazing to work with. I had no idea what I was looking for in a dress and Melanie explained everything so well to me. The fifth dress I tried on was absolutely perfect! I couldnt believe how quickly Melanie was able to figure out what I wanted when I didnt even know. All of my bridesmaids were there, so we also picked out those dresses. In two hours, I had my wedding dress and all of my bridesmaids had theirs! I walked back in with my then fiance and they remembered my name immediately and were once again so helpful. They made the process so easy and fun. I would recommend Celebrations of the Heart to everyone for wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos. I didnt find the dress here, but enjoyed their service. It definitely topped all of the three places I went to. My favorite dress, however, was at another place. Anyway, they were very professional and helpful. Definitely a place to stop first, and I will likely be back for accessories.

A representative from Celebrations called me several days before my appointment to get an idea of what I wanted so they could already have some pulled out for me when I got there. As you can tell from previous reviews, Celebrations of the Heart is an excellent shop to find your perfect dress. I purchased my wedding dress here and was pleased not only the actual dress, but the entire experience. I easily made an appointment via phone and was greeted at the door with my name on a sign. The consultant took my suggestions and opinions and brought me dresses I wanted to try on and ones she thought I might that maybe I wouldnt have chosen on my own. In fact, I chose the dress the consultant had picked for me. The team kept in constant communication with me via text - you can choose what communication you prefer - to let me know when my veil had arrived, etc. Cant say enough good things about this shop, their selection, and their customer service. I had the best experience with the ladies at Celebrations of the Heart. My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in Manhattan, and when we were looking at churches, I discovered Celebrations. I made an appointment and the ladies help me with various dresses and styles. I was not a small bride-- more on the plus side, and they made me feel special. It took trying on 5 before I found the perfect one, which they could order in my size. I also decided to order the bridesmaids dresses and my husband ordered all his groomsmens tuxedos through them. We received everything in a timely manner, and when sizes need to be adjusted the ladies were happy to help. The ladies even had stuff overnighted during prom season to make sure we had the right sizes and stuff. The staff was super friendly and supportive. They really help make this part of the wedding planning easy and painless. In fact I appreciate that they remembered me when I was in Manhattan almost a year later. I highly recommend Celebrations of the Hear for you wedding or formal needs. Thanks again ladies for all your hard work and excellent customer service.

I had an amazing experience! Kyra was wonderful to work with. She really helped me find my dream dress. It was such a hard decision to make since there were so many beautifully designed dresses there. Kyra even went out of her way to let me make another last minute decision in the dress that I picked in the end. I was very grateful she let me do that because I am still so happy with the dress I chose. It was one of a kind. It was a moment that I will never forget!

I had been to 3 different stores and was kinda getting worried I wasn’t going to find a dress. My stylist started from scratch and brought me several different styles to choose from. When I put on the 3rd dress I knew it was the one and so did she. She jacked me up real quick and when I walked out all my girls smilrd and my mom cried. Thank you for giving me that bridal moment. I love my dress and got compliments on it all night! The follow up was great too and they texted me several times throughout the engagement and dress Fittings to check in snd see if I needed anything. They even texted me on my big day to say congratulations! Felt very personalized and special shopping there. Highly recommend.

AMAZING! Kyra was a dream to work with and picked out my dream dress just like in Say Yes to the Dress. I was disillusioned from some bad shops and Kyra gave me faith in the wedding industry! She even texted me with updates and when I forgot the address of my alterations, I texted her personally and she responded quickly! I cant recommend them enough!!!

As most of these reviews are multiple years old and the shop has gone under a new owner, I completely disagree with Celebrations of the Heart not having 5 stars.I cant express how great it has been working with Melanie! As soon as I had entered, I was greeted right away by both employees. I always had thought I would need to go to Kansas City to find the one dress, little did I know Celebrations of the Heart was right in front of me the whole time. I didnt expect to try anything on as I had just had a few extra minutes to stop in. I am so glad I did! Melanie helped me pick out a few dresses and little did I know the style that I have pinned a thousand times did not look the same on (no wonder I only ever saw pictures of the back of the dress and not the front).. Our wedding is in a few months so I didnt have enough time to have the dress made. Melanie went above and beyond my expectations and found out two of them were in production, she snagged one up and it will be delivered with enough time to spare for minor alterations and to get to our destination wedding in time! I cant speak highly enough of how comfortable Melanie and her team have been throughout this process!
