All shelves are full of stock and tidy up so nicely. I went to the front yard looking for flower seeds. I thought about buying it online, but the flower seeds I wanted seemed popular and were out of stock. But I was very lucky to find the flower seed I was looking for in this store. This flower seed I bought was quick to germinate and I had a very good shopping. When I visited this store, it was crowded with many customers, but the cashier flowed smoothly and I was able to pay without waiting. I recommend the store

I love Menards. Its on my side of town and usually has what Im looking for. I go there early in the morning to avoid big crowds. They open at 6am M-S and 8 on Sunday.

It is a great place to shop for DIY projects around home. Great staff. Great selection. And the 11% mail-in rebate works very smoothly.

The people here are always very helpful and friendly. I get great tips on doing things differently which saves me time and money. The crew is very dedicated. Its great to have such a nice place to shop for hardware until 10 pm!

I was surprised to find out that only certain nominal lumber is carried, there is no 1 x 8 x ? In Alder. Other than that I have to outsource for cabinet grade nominal lumber. Menards is a good store, great selection of tools and the best plumbing department in Manhattan KS!

Very helpful workers a guy in the isle didnt have to go look for someone all over the store.

They had everything I needed. It is a very large store and I had to ask where things are. The shelf were well stocked.

Maybe the worst customer service experience ever in a retail store. From lack of product knowledge to the staff just not willing to help. This location is an embarrassment to our city.

Long story short. Bought a Troy-bilt self propelled less than 2 stripes into mowing self propell stops working. Bring it back to menards and get told by ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER Matt Fondren to kick rocks and there isnt anything they will do other than send me to a closed repair shop. solid way to start my labor day weekend. I have never in my life left a bad review of a store but this was beyond disgraceful.

A lot in stock. Prices have gone up since they are not new in town anymore. Higher price in Lumber can find better at specific lumber yard

I love the wide variety of products available and the garden center is great. I always find something I want or need. We ordered a patio set that arrived quickly for pickup and we love it. I definitely recommend Menards for all your home improvement needs.

This place us a giant paradise of goods and materials. Beats the stuffing out of Lowes and Home Depot. Amazing variety of items, from pockles to paint, they have it. Abundant salespeople are ridiculously helpful, knowledgeable and kind.

We had purchased some items and they were the wrong kind. My husband returned them the next day. Since we had written a check they gave us store credit. Np with that we completely understood. He went to get the correct items and lost the in store credit. He went to customer service and they basically told him oh well nothing we can do. SeriouslyHe asked to talk to manager and they voided the check. Then we were told the next day that someone had used part of it. He told us they would look at the video and just kept blowing us off. 5 days left were told to make a police report. Its been 2 weeks and I called and was told that the police department are handling it. It was 100.00 and I still wont tell me what was spent. We have spent thousands of dollars and this is the way we get treated over 100.00. I realize it was our fault but were talking about 10.00

I have experience good customer service. Every time I have gone into the store so far.

Special ordered polycarbonate roof panels (Amerilux). Two of the 8 were in poor condition with scratchs, footprints and stress cracks. Returned one and had to reorder adding several more weeks to my repair. The reorder panel was in similar condition with similar defects. Check all of your products as some damaged items may be put between good ones. Very disappointed.

I couldnt find a worker to help me so I went to a service desk, the gentleman behind the counter was on the phone so I stood in line and after 10 minutes a worker came up and asked the person behind me if they needed help and proceeded to help them and left me standing there. The worker behind the counter never acknowledged that I was standing there and when I turned around and to ask the worker that was talking to the gentleman behind me for help they just walked away. I went to a different store and was helped right away.

I purchasing 3 items for the works. Im very satisfied.

Fantastic trip! An associate in electrical / plumbing named Brady took all the time I needed to help with an electrical conduit challenge. He was a TREMENDOUS help. I ONLY go to Menards when I shop in Manhattan, KS for construction supplies! Look up Brady if you need help. He is AWESOME!

This place is clean and well organized. It has all the things needed to take care of your house and yard.

Customer service at the employee level is usually awesome. Customer service at the manager level has been awful several times. This very much feels like this is a job they have to go to not something they actually enjoy or care enough to understand or implement customer service. I’ve had issues with materials ordering and delivery, I was promised to be contacted by the assistant manager and I would “be taken care of on my next order”. I received no call or email or any inquiry into that ever.The oversight on this location is obviously low, leadership doesn’t care about issues they just care about dollars coming in the door. So as long as you don’t need any assistance or have any issues this is a great place to shop. They really make this a “self service “ store.In short, this store doesn’t offer a personable experience at all. If you’re looking to be a number with dollar signs then shop here.

Overall pretty good, its not perfect but for the most part its good. The store is always nice clean and organized. Wish it was easier to find help sometimes. Thats my only gripe.

Electrical aisle needs some major TLC. They never seem to have the items were looking for in stock.And considering that they are lifting the ban of masks for schools you would think a place of business would too. But you can walk around the store with no mask on and nobody says anything until you go to check out. They wont let you check out unless you have a mask on. So then they charge you for said mask for the whole whopping 5 minutes it takes. Sure glad I dont a health condition that prevents me from wearing a mask.In another note you might want to get all your employees in the same page as last time we were there they checked us out with no mask, no problem.

Only half of the pavers I ordered were usable. Granted they were close out items so I understood. I bought online and should have just gone to look to be sure they were usable.

Ive had special orders damaged.Also lost a receipt and could not receive 11% refund. Always have to search for a worker to get help.

Menards has always been my first choice in every project. Associates are always friendly and ready to help, Michael in flooring was super helpful, cooperative and informative during my last visit to shop for carpet.I like how merchandise is displayed how everything is organized, which makes shopping very easy, fast and convenient.Thank you Menards for great quality and customer service.

My husband and I shopped for over an hour all over the store, without masks. When we get to the checkout, a guy came up to us and asked if we had masks and we replied that we did not. He then hands us each one, to wear for 2 minutes! He proceeds to tell the young girl who is the checkout person NOT to check us out until we put on our masks! He then proceeded to stand and stare at us! We would have left, but we dont get to the city much and had quite a few items, 2 carts full! It is a constitutional right if we want to wear a mask or not, and this is also discrimination on whether you will sell to certain customers!

We just moved here & were told we had to come check out this super cool store, it was our first stop with our family of 3 girls who love to shop including my 3 year old who uses a posterior walker. We typically wear a mask unless we are trying to direct our toddler which direction to go with her walker as she is learning to walk. It wasn’t long before we were met in one of the isles by someone that worked there that we needed to put our masks on. I explained that our daughter is handicapped & he said regardless we needed to put them back on. I am so sorry sir that you felt the need to come find us and tell us to do so and further sorry that you have no humanity in you. 99% of people aren’t even wearing their masks correctly so myself & my husband taking off or pulling our masks down to communicate with our daughter should of been something that was left alone. We will for sure forget that your store exists entirely except for that one bad experience!!!

Asked when I went in if they price matched home depot said they do showed them prices on the same items said they cant price match on 6 that I showed them. Not a present experience I will not go back ever.

Menards, is a Great store the workers are always friendly and helpful and a ways know where to find things you need. We bought somethings for our cats for Christmas, collars and new litter boxes and my husband found the gloves he wanted. Thank you Menards for being in Manhattan, Kansas.

Horrible customer service in the loading area. The guys on the forklift are lazy. I’m actually waiting for a pallet to be loaded while writing this. I’ve had two operators drive past me and one just sitting on his forklift chatting with his co workers. I’ve had to pick stuff up all week and this has been the same problem every time. Definitely not ordering from here anymore unless they change something and wouldn’t recommend it either

They are unwilling to make accommodations for people with disabilities to enter their establishment. I went here out of convenience but Ill drive out of my way to go to Home Depot or any of the other numerous hardware stores. Dont recommend in the slightest.

After a long dead end trip to home depot where the zombies they call associates and managers couldnt help us, we made a trip here. We found a little help but no one on the expert level of our situation BUT the four associates were all very helpful. They were at least doing their best to help us try to find what we needed and what would work. Unlike home depot, these employees were doing the best they could of trying to help. I didnt feel like it was a I couldnt care less situation. They didnt have what we needed so we ended up spending nearly 200 dollars which we hope fixes the issue. After such a frustrating trip to home depot it was nice just to be at menards where the employees were pleasant and at least trying to help

Frustrating experience! I went in for a specific mulch, website said they had it. Asked for help at 4 different desks and they all said they had 158 bags. I need 20, how do I pay and pick up? Two more desks, finally pay and drive around to pick up, only to be told sorry we dont have any.... Headed back to where I paid, but no I need to go to a different desk.... Got my money back and probably wont be back... Frustrating

Prices are a tad higher than Home Depot and Walmart but has everything you need and great staff

Great place. Got exactly what I wanted. I needed an extraction tool kit for my rc car and they were the only ones who had it.

Workers at Menards are always willing to try and help. I wanted one item I learned they dont carry but I got what I hope is a suitable replacement for it and got out quickly. I like the place.

Up to March 2020, we spent lots of money on remodel flooring, appliances, gardening, household goods, gifts, Christmas, lighting...then the attitude and atmosphere changed. When you put “bouncers” at the door...you loose customers who will never return. We will no longer purchase anything at any Menards.

Made a $265.00 purchase. their system went down. they said my bank card did not go thru. even though my online banking said it did. made me pay again. talked to my bank they provided me proof to take to menards that I had been charged twice. talked to two managers one I believe was the gm. very rude and uncooperative. had to file a fraud case with my bank that was very helpful and I was paid back the same day from my bank not menards.

Most of the employees were nice enough but there were a couple mask Nazis. I dont wear one, Im not gonna wear one! The, I assume, customer service manager needs to learn how to approach people. She was rude, loud amd not professional at all. So to Menards (and anyone else that believes this scamdemic bullshit) ....... Stop believing the hype! Its all a powerplay and your fucking up this country!! Your all gonna feel like real assholes when ALL your rights are gone and you realize its all because youre a bunch of pussies and you need to stop and do your own fucking research before its too late! So until you stop being that way I will be going to Home Depot from now on. No Sheep here!!

I prefer the one in Topeka better only because I know that one better. Set up mirror opposite. Other then that Menards is my first choice when hardware shopping or building supplies. Clean stores, friendly helpful staff, competitive pricing, huge selection and I love the rebates. I did a $3,000 project and waited for 11% back and that was a great rebate I used to buy some new tool toys with. Love this store
