Really wanted to like this place π€§. But it definitely left me disappointed. The staff were quite friendly and I appreciated their COVID protocols. However, I ordered two drinks here and wish I hadnβt. The first was the white vans, which I was excited about because of the combinations, but I didnβt taste any of the flavor notes that I was looking forward to. I decided to give another drink a try so I got a mocha with caramel and oat milk (a pretty standard drink for me and something that I get at different places.) This one was not good and it seems like it might be more than my own preferences in regards to flavors and milk textures. I actually regretted spending money on another drink π.The burrito was okay. Iβd read that it was small but for $4 I think itβs pretty on par. What really saddened me was that it seemed like there was more flavor on the outside than the inside.
Great place to hang out and have drinks! The staff are wonderful. Our favorite drinks are Old Fashioned with Rye, Irish Coffee, and Lavender Mocha.
Excellent little coffee spot, with friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Large outdoor area, very nice bathrooms. They also have a happy hour from 3-7pm every weekday with half-price house cocktails. The options are very standard, but the price is worth it. They have very fun seasonal cocktails that are more pricey but worth the try
Best sandwich Ive had in some time. My daughter revived about the lavender mocha. Nice atmosphere too.
Never disappointed with Arrow! It is always so delicious and the employees and owners are always so kind. Arrow will always be a favorite of mine!
Great cocktails and coffee. Recommend the Old Fashioned.
Delicious coffee and great staff. Will definitely be back!
I lived in Manhattan, KS for a year; and the times Iβve spent in Arrow Coffee will always be a great memory in my mind. It was my βsecretβ escape zone from all the rushy atmosphere in college and work. An awesome espresso bar with beautiful people, coffee and cocktails. Thanks for all the great memories, love you guys!
The staff is super friendly and the Egg in a Portabello basket is one of the best meals Iβve ever had. Cost is very very reasonable and coffee is very good as well.
Great place for morning coffee and pastries with friendly and helpful staff!
Their breakfast was awesome! Everything came out as expected and the service was extremely fast. Have yet to try the coffee but everytime I come in it smells wonderful!
Nice atmosphere and the Honey Vanilla Chai is really good.
Easily the highest quality coffee in all of MHK! They do it right and with excellence here. If youβre a coffee connoisseur, Arrowβs the place to be. Would highly recommend!
Best coffee shop in Manhattan. Hands down π
Favorite coffee house in MHK! Such friendly staff and the coffe, atmosphere, and location is amazing! Perfect place to study or to sit and chat!
Great coffee shop! Everyone was very nice. A great place to catch up with friends!
Cant say it enough, best coffee and cocktails in Manhattan... possibly in the state. Annnnnd breakfast burritos. I could eat one three times a day for the rest of my life. The Motleys are a true version of small business owners serving their community day in and day out. 5+++++ stars.
Arrow is easily, the best place to get coffee in Manhattan. Ive been to every single coffee shop here, and Arrow is the only place that I have never had a problem with. I love it!! Amazing coffee, atmosphere, and staff!
Very friendly staff and always willing to help out! Knowledgeable crew and the BEST coffee in Manhattan!
This was a super cute place that was bustling with people. They serve everything from breakfast burritos to cocktails. This would be a perfect study spot or a great place to meet with a group.
Best coffee in Manhattan and they truly care about their patrons
I come here about every week for some social time with a friend (or two) to knit and have coffee. The staff are always friendly and the coffee and food are always great. Their seasonal offerings are fun and excellent.
Best environment by far of MHK coffee shops. Airy, light, open and fun. Plus, they have unique flavors like basil to put in your mocha...top notch. Always a pleasant experience. Really enjoy the ability to have meetings here as well. Try the breakfast burrito!
This is a hip coffee shop and at night the other half is a great bar with artisanal cocktails. My favorite coffee is the house drip or cold brew- really packs a punch. Cant wake up? Brian fog? get one of those! I have gone here for years and still miss the old Arrow with wooden interior and more comfortable chairs. That said - The coffee here is outstanding and they have a superb selection of foods including egg burritos for breakfast. My favorite baked goods are the lavender shortbreads and macaroons. The outside seating is also amazing with choices all around and upstairs. The only downside is this: inside chairs are metal and cold and uncomfortable if you are maybe over 30 and over 110lbs. The coldness is probably worse than the lack of cushions. Molded wood is just better. Also on about 4 (FOUR!!! in 2020) occasions on a Sunday I have gone here at 1 or 2.45 and it was just closed including yesterday 11.8.20). It is supposed to be open until 3pm but now we worry if it will be open since it is just not reliably open on Sundays. Maybe they need to just get someone else to work that shift ;)On the upside more things to like - they also have a great point program and did I say their food is amazing? Great brunch place. But no cocktails at brunch - so no mimosas folks but that is ok. They have tap water that you can help yourself from and they do not make you leave so if you want to work for hours - you can (if your butt is ok with that!). It is usually full of students and professors.Kids love this place too. Other favorite food (not sure if they still have it) - rye toast with a hole in it that contained an egg! If you guys ever redecorate - bring back darker wood or invest in some comfortable wooden chairs :) please!
I love Arrow Coffee Co. I was so lazy lately and decided to do something productive. I was looking for a place to read my books. Then I found Arrow Coffee on Google and I saw they make βart coffeeβ and I was so excited to try it. When I arrived I just showed them the screenshot of coffee cup I wanted to try and barista started making foam and pour me a cup of coffee. Itβs mind blowing and I was so satisfied with it. Ian came talked to me. I talked to Kara too. Staffs are super awesome and friendly. I will be back.
Amazing coffee shop with an incredible staff and the best cocktails in the Midwest.
Very courteous patient with my hearing loss masks are very difficult assisted in WiFi password brought drinks to me feels calm relaxed environment to get homework done no rush thank you very much folks
Have been a loyal customer. New person behind the bar was not very attentive. Young lady seemed to be associated with Arrow sitting at the bar with a laptop but comfortable to go behind the bar. Would have had another drink but couldnt get bartender attention. Im sure things will get better with experience.
Best coffee shop in townBest coffee shop in townBest coffee shop in townAnd they serve alcoholic drinks and joy on the other half of the building !Eager for them to fully open back up again!
The grilled breakfast burrito was good, but pretty small and hardly any veggies in it at all. My boyfriend got a light roast coffee and it tasted terrible. My chai tea was good though.
Wonderful Visit wanted to try something new in honor for a free drink I received for my birthday. Riley was really helpful in describing what exactly a basil mocha was and I really enjoyed it and will be going back sometime. Really new additions and expanded drink menu. Overall, great visit. Thanks for the free birthday drink! Riley did an amazing job.
I was visiting a friend in Manhattan. I came to the shop one early morning. the two guys were very nice and had a welcoming vibe. when I come back I am definitely coming here again.
Arrow Coffee Company is great. The coffee, is great. The food, is wildly inconsistent. Nothing is the same, ever. You go in and order breakfast one day, go in the next day, order the same exact thing and itβs totally different. The amount, the cooking method, the temperature, everything. The only consistent thing is the price, which is WAY too expensive. I pay 5 and change for a 3 inch burrito that my toddler can eat and still be hungry? No thanks. The kitchen staff seems so incredibly unhappy to be there. I stopped in sometime a week ago and just canβt forget how bad my experience was. I want to support small businesses, but truly their kitchen menu/training needs to be re-evaluated. For specific things, the lettuce on my salad is almost always wilted and soggy. My tiny burrito is sometimes cold. The gravy is the consistency of concrete. Yogurt is bad. Ham sometimes has tons of fat that ought be cut off. My girlfriend loves going here so I visit quite often and get food. But I truly canβt support this place anymore. Please take into consideration my review. I support lots of businesses in town and I donβt want to see this one perish.
Very good breakfast burritos. A decent selection of coffee or coffee type drinks
Great quality coffee and nice coffee shop atmosphere. If you are looking for a collaborative or co working space, this may be a little too busy for you as its right by campus and can be kind of a pain to find a place to sit/talk/work. Otherwise great!
When I first visited I made the mistake of walking up the extra steps to the top landing haha, much smaller without the barista. The cafe is well lit with warm lights, has plenty of space although the layout is more rectangular and definitely has that hipster theme/mood. Prices on drinks are a bit more expensive, but comparable to Starbucks. Overall it feels like a good study space for a couple of hours but it seems like it could get crowded easily.
Always personable and delicious!
Apple breakfast burrito & banana burrito out of this world...daughter loved lavender coffee options. Only complaint is they were always low or out of certain breakfast options.
I appreciate the attention to detail offered at this local Manhattan shop! The coffee is great, as is the service. I regular this shop, so many of the employees know my name and call me by name which is always appreciated. I normally get espresso drinks, which are always great, and the pour-over coffee is incredibly flavorful and bright. the atmosphere could be better, although, and any personal conversations are sometimes unable to have due to how easily voices carry throughout the space - not much privacy (one could easily eavesdrop on a personal conversation). The food, while being very delicious, is a bit pricey. I would be much quicker to buy food here if the price was a little bit more reasonable. The coffee drinks may be pricey to some as well, but I think the coffee is a fair price. All in all, this is a great little shop! It is absolutely worth noting the atmosphere change as the back lounge area opens up at 4 pm, adding an element to the shop that I like a lot more than when the back area is closed. Definitely my favorite place in Manhattan, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
Arrow is the best place in town for coffee and is my favorite stop for cocktails. If youre in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in to smell the beans. Its sure to be a swell time
If you enjoy any type of coffee drink, you must visit Arrow Coffee ASAP. They have the best quality of coffee and service in Manhattan. Absolutely incredible. They purchase their coffee from Corvus Coffee Co., who share personal relationships with the farmers they buy from, ensuring a fair price on the quality coffee they receive. Additionally, they have homemade breakfast items and lunch specials every day, not to mention theyre fair trade, organic chocolate bars! Most importantly, the employees at Arrow Coffee are phenomenal. They offer great service and would love it if you stopped by like....TODAY!
The drinks are pretty great but the staff often make me feel unwelcomeUPDATE: After going back in the the staff made the coffee shop feel like a completely different spot. I was honestly blown away with the difference. I even prompted questions on some of the menu items and was gladly helped with a smile and without hesitation. I will be back regularly from now on.
Its quaint inside, with good coffee and some light eating options. Very aesthetic environment, and especially good if you dont mind smaller spaces.Really cool that they host live events as well, from trivia nights to live music.Worth checking out, you might find a new spot.
A really good latte, and I appreciate the latte art. Biscuits and gravy was a standout. They either added pinch of cayenne or hot sauce to kick up the gravy, and I really liked that.
I love this company! Best coffee in town! I love the breakfast burritos and white vans latte!
Service was great and so as foods.
Clean, polished, quite, suxh great music, and Experienced.help.
The best coffee I have EVER had. A great environment too. Can I please just clone the shop and its employees and take them back to KC every break from college?
So good! I stop by for a chai and a pastry on my way to work once a week and they are fast and the products are delicious. We also love their happy hour for drinks and relaxing after a long day. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only trouble sometimes is parking but its worth it.
The BEST coffee in MHK
Excellent coffee experience! They use beans from a roaster out of Denver called Corvus Coffee. Most all of the coffees are high-quality single origins and Arrow uses multiple brew methods to bring out the best in the beans. The staff is knowledgeable and loves to talk coffee. While not the primary focus of the shop, they have a great selection of soups and sandwiches that is updated frequently as well. My only compliant is that the shop is a bit small. So maybe its not the best place to lay out 3 notebooks and your laptop or have an intimate conversation. However, give the shop a try! You wont find better coffee in Manhattan. The staff is friendly and loves to chat!
A great example of a community-based small business being successful at what they do. Best coffee, location, and atmosphere/music for coffee in the morning or mid-afternoon. They host some cool social workshops in the evenings in their liquor lounge. Aggieville or Downtown rarely match the well-made, hand-crafted drinks youll find at Arrow. Margaritas are killer and beer selection is constantly changing. Nice work, Arrow.
A coffee shop that turns into a cocktail bar at night. The coffee is good and the cocktails are even better and very inexpensive compared to other places. The service is great as well. The only thing I didnt like was the vibe stays coffee shop when it turns into a cocktail bar.
Every experience I have in Arrow is a good one. This local coffee shop is dedicated to high quality coffee and made-from-scratch dining. If youre a coffee connoisseur this is the place to try in Manhattan. The service is excellent. Friendly and skilled at their work. You can clearly see the joy they experience in presenting the customer with a drink that they love. Go there!
Great coffee, pastries and sandwiches during the day. Outstanding cocktails starting at happy hour. Friendly neighborhood gathering place. Youll probably spot a friend when you walk in.
Very impressed with this little operation. The staff was very friendly and ready to answer any questions I had, with full & accurate descriptions of the coffee selections. I highly recommend the Jackson Select, which is what I had. The decor is nice, and simple. I would expect to maybe see some more art on the walls in the future, but as a new coffee shop, the clean and warm environment is nice. I look forward to my next visit.
Good coffee!!! International options to serve it.Nice food options for a small snack or a short breakfast.Perfect service!
Arrow Coffee Company is full of good people. Baristas and cooks pay extra attention to all of what they provide to guests. A truly unique coffee shop/ cocktail lounge in a town with so many options. Arrow stands as an institution of quality products and community bonding.
Lovely Folks
Quality cocktails and eclectic atmosphere. Warm and friendly service and a great place to sit and chat with friends. Not a lot of parking so I recommend coming in on foot or by bike.
I like arrow. I think they expanded a bit too rapidly. The service really went down for a wile where I went in three times in a row and they forgot to make my drink. The food is also hit or miss. It makes sense that with such little competition they wouldnβt strive to do the utmost but still worth the visit!
Awesome place for a quick cup of excellent coffee or fantastic cocktail. Amazing customer service and a relaxing environment. Stop by for their happy hour or one of the best old fashioned cocktails in town!
Amazing coffee and great atmosphere. My favorite place to meet up with friends or study!
The coffees and teas Ive ordered have been quite good. I like the cappuccino and the chai. It also has a nice atmosphere inside for studying and working, and the staff are super friendly. The only downside is that the coffee can be a little pricey for the size.
High quality food before three, best cocktails in town after, and good coffee all day. They do some things traditionally (read: not Starbucks), but the staff are all friendly and will help you get what you are looking for.
We were in town for a quick visit, and heard this was the place to go for coffee. Im so glad we listened to that advice and stopped in. The coffee here is amazing, and I definitely understand why people hype it up. The people working here know their stuff, and can make great recommendations. Its not exactly easy to find a table though, so be ready to wait for one.
This is the best coffee shop in Manhattan. The staff is always friendly and helpful. When I asked about catering, they got back to me within minutes! Also, their coffee tastes fantastic, they even make their own almond milk.
The loyalty card is amazing if you set it up your first time there. The staff is friendly and they serve great coffee. I like that they are constantly bringing on a guest roaster of the month so there is always something new to try. Personally I like to try new things when I visit new places and think this is the ultimate place for that. If you are fine with your typical cheap gas station coffee, thats okay. Do you. But if you want to try some AMAZING black coffee... Give arrow a try. Yeah, it might be a dollar more for a cup but if you watch the process and try and learn why things are done differently then I think its totally worth it. #arrowloyal
I know that most people give attention to their coffee (And rightfully so. They ARE a coffee company.) but I always go there for the lunch special. A rolling menu anywhere else would make you feel restricted to one option and if you dont like it, tough luck, but I have honestly not had a bad sandwich there yet. Pair it up with a homemade soup in the winter or pasta/potato salad in the summer and you have yourself a winning lunch. The service is always top notch - The company that takes the time to learn your name and greet you by name every time you go there is rare these days. All around, an excellent experience.
Knowledgeable staff and best coffee/cappuccinos. Passionate about coffee! The bar area also makes beautiful tasty cocktails.
Went here for trivia night, had a ton of fun, drinks where on the prcey side, but really good and worth the money
Always a great cup of coffee
When I was in Manhattan for two weeks, I went everyday for a cup of coffee and loved it. Reasonably priced, and 20x better than Starbucks. Not to mention their loyality program is awesome! After 3-4 PM their coffee shop opens up to a cocktail bar (with coffee still served). Iβve never seen this done before, and it was amazing. I highly recommend the coke with cold brew ice cube, just trust me.
The coffee is definitely the main attraction here as it should. Its simply exquisite. The beans are fresh and the flavors keep there depth even on sugary drinks like lattes.
Arrow has fantastic coffee, food and cocktails that is only surpassed by their friendly, polite staff. Went there last week and Ian and Josh were very helpful with helping me select my drink. Wish I could give it 6/5 stars.
Small place with a big name around the K-State campus. It has an amazing atmosphere, low prices but great coffee, and a staff that has always been top of the line. Couldnt recommend a better place to get coffee and do a little studying.
Great craft coffee and friendly staff. The atmosphere is clean and fresh. Space and parking is a little limited- but worth the gamble! Try and check out one of their tastings if you can.
They perfect everything they serve. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious coffee...a must try if youre in Manhattan. Parking can be hard but its worth it.
Love this place. I work at a hotel and any time someone asks me for a good local coffee shop, I direct them here! Theyre never let down.
Not only does Arrow brew the best cappuccino I have ever had, the variety of coffee brew methods and staff knowledge is amazing. Whether its your first time in, or your 1000th time, youll feel like youve known David (owner), or many of the other staff for years! Great people, great coffee... just down right great.
The London Fog is delicious....Love the London Fog.
I love this place!! Work down the street so we always go here for quick meetings!
The maple chai I got was delicious. The atmosphere was really nice and my only complaint is the chairs arent super comfy. I guess that might be to stop people from hanging out all day, but if I ever need a nice drink I will definitely be back.
Fantastic coffee and espresso (best in town), innovative and delicious seasonal drinks, amazing breakfast burritos, and a very pleasant and helpful staff. The mixed drinks on the other side are great, too. My go-to place in Manhattan.
Its a legit coffee shop they know there stuff
I just started going to Arrow, and man, is it the coolest coffee shop in town. The service is incredible and the coffee is phenomenal. Its kind of hidden behind that bank and Subs N Such, but if you can make a trip to this little shop, its more than worth it.
The BEST Coffee / Late I have EVER had. They make their own almond milk and tasted so fresh. Atmosphere was great and they were very kind...
Wonderful service, classy coffee drinks and the breakfast burritos are insanely delicious.
Amazing atmosphere, service, and, of course, coffee. The staff is all super helpful and friendly. And make sure to get set up with a loyalty card on your first visit.
I opened the door to receive my courier package and automatically started looking for what smelt so good! Iβm so excited to give this coffee to my husband for Fatherβs Day!!! Brilliant service.
Coffee & cocktails are good and the staff are very friendly too. A great place to hangout with your friends or to chill between classes!
