Nice place, coffee was good but the sandwich portion was a super small for the price. I had the grown up grilled cheese and the taste was good but had like two slices of very thin Turkey. Definitely more of a chill place with coffee, but food needs to be much more than it is.

The back patio is excellent! Beautiful wicker decor in an urban setting. My friends and I joked it was industrial millenial style design. Food wise, I enjoyed the breakfast burrito and the granola (both are super tasty), but they unfortunately werent available when I came back the next day. However, this makes sense since they probably make all this food super fresh!

Apparently if you’re not there to hold them accountable this is what you get. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ You deserve 0 stars.

Friendly service and excellent drinks. After many years of resisting drinking coffee of any kind, I finally got a carmel latte here, and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The atmosphere is very good for any type of social gathering as well as studying or doing homework. Its a pretty hip place to be.

Dear students who are seeking to place to study. Before you come here, you will be attack by pack of flies and they will not stop. The Food and atmosphere is great when it is winter, I probably wont come back until winter when the bug problem isnt a issue.

I love the Angelino. The chai tea is my second favorite.

Fantastic atmosphere, coffee, & food. The Hippie sandwich was a fantastic breakfast/snack, the brown sugar cinnamon latte was a delightful surprise and the peanut butter cookie & brownie were some of the best we’ve had.

Enjoyed a vanilla latte and breakfast burrito. This was our first visit to Public Hall and Im sure we will have follow up visits in the future.

February 13th was the first time my husband took us to Public Hall in Manhattan. The service and food was excellent! I don’t usually do reviews but this place was really amazing. Prices plus food was 👍 totally recommend this place!

Great drinks and food, great environment! I do wish it was a tad more kid-friendly, but it definitely isn’t pretentious.

This is a really nice place with a wide variation of food and drinks. The coffee is really well made and doesnt give off a bitter taste that most coffee places around here seem to have. Great place to study, read, or draw as its quite and has free wifi. Has a really nice aesthetic. The only complaint I have is the chairs get kinda uncomfortable after a long time of sitting down, but that could be because of my height since Im very tall and the chairs run on the smaller side.

The atmosphere is really chill, I’ve had very good social experiences at this coffee shop. Their hummus tray is amazing, the staff is helpful and willing to answer questions about drink choices. This is a great place to study in the evenings or meet in a group for brunch. The only bum part is that sometimes when you show up there is no where to sit. Guess that just confirms my review.

Have had many drinks from this place and they are always good. The coffee stands out, best cold brew in town.

Great spot to grab a coffee or beer. Good variety of seating options, nice patio, overall it just feels great inside.Also, $20 champagne bottles are an absolute steal. I would gladly pay $30-$35, but I’m not complaining.

So happy I was able to find a place with an incredible breakfast sandwich during my visit from out of town; the sriracha mayo ties the whole thing together! Also, the earl grey latte is out of this world amazing. Can’t go wrong with a morning visit to Public Hall!

Perhaps if a business is going to proudly display a tip jar and accept tip to compensate for their poor wages, they should consider tipping the people who shop for and deliver their groceries, especially when they frequently do not have parking available so delivery driver must park illegally in the alley out back. Cannot recommend such a place that treats people like that.

Used to be my go to coffee shop for studying. After I sat down for about 10 minutes, I was rudely approached by a barista stating that I had to buy something due to low seating or leave. The thing is there was plenty of seating open and I was planning on buying a drink shortly anyways. Probably not stopping by again.

Public Hall is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Manhattan. They have super friendly staff, quick service, and amazing coffee. It’s also helpful that they are open late for me to come in and get my assignments done that I (potentially) put off. If you’re looking for good vibes and good coffee go to public hall!

Awesome coffee shop! I really enjoy the look and feel of the place. The coffee is great and the brown sugar cinnamon is a unique and excellent flavor. Beyond the coffee the pastries are top notch. The recent addition of breakfast sandwiches and other items also adds to the experience. I will definitely continue to visit and look forward to the different experiences that Im sure will be added as time goes on!

I was very excited to find a place that serves Intelligentsia coffee. I used to live in Chicago and always loved the brand. So the coffee is great!The service is good as well. The baristas have been very nice the two times Ive been here. I dont live in Manhattan, but I visit frequently. I will definitely be back!

Great relaxed atmosphere, pretty quiet. Good place for people to meet and chat. Great selection of local alcoholic beverages. Also have coffees, yogurt, and other treats and snacks.

New favorite place for coffee in Manhattan! Super quick, really cook coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered iced coffee. They use frozen coffee ice cubes so as the ice melts your drink doesnt get watered down! Definitely worth checking out for the coffee and baked goods!

This place throws a lot of hipster and cozy vibes. Overall its a really nice place; they have good coffee and it is an ideal location to sit down and study for a couple hours any day of the week.

Theyre open till 11pm and the only shop in town open late.. I came here to study since I enjoy coffee shops for this for the environment. However, the music was way too loud in there as if they had an event going on and not inviting to study. Otherwise I love the window seats and the whole look of the shop.

I am very reluctant to do a 3 star review instead of a 4, but the bads do out weigh the goods. Heres my reasoning! Firstly, I just dont get the coffee here, I think its objectively bad. Everyone is different, but its so sour! And I love a good light roast. It was always inconsistent on syrup amounts as well, but usually way too sweet. The sandwiches are great, but so small for the price. And the soup is way overpriced since it tastes canned soup (whether or not it is, it tastes like it). The atmosphere is great for studying, but there are an insane amount of flies that ruin it. The staff is always so friendly though so I feel bad giving it 3 stars- but I cant full justify doing 4. I really only came when my favorite coffee place was closed, but all of the reasons added up and now Id rather make coffee at home. Hopefully somthing improves!

The atmosphere is calm and very pleasant. I ordered a cappuccino, the texturization of the milk was not right, it seems that they steamed it to an excessive temperature, it felt astringent.
