This is my favorite place in the area to shop for gifts, especially for my family members who live outside of Kansas! There is such a fun assortment of items and it’s a fun place to walk around when you just want to relax a bit. The staff is super nice too!

Fun and awesome gift store! They have unique gifts, flowers and the inventory is new and changing. I find some of the best greeting cards here and the flowers are beautiful. They also have a discount rack in the back. I like the books and local Manhattan, KS merchandise. The staff is nice and they decorate the store in happy ways during each season.

Fun and FlowersIf ever you need to break away from the grind of being an “adult” head over to Acme Gift. This shop is not only visually stimulating but it will bring out the child in you. I had a blast looking at all the fun, unusual and interesting things they have to offer.I laughed at the quirky sayings on the magnets, cards, coasters and mini boxes of gum. I found BB puzzles that triggered memories of childhood play that used hand held skill and not that of a computer. But my new all-time favorite and addiction, is the collection of the Safari Ltd Good Luck Minis. I think I purchased one or two of each one they have in the store which is a lot! But look around because they’re not in one area but in glass jars and trays here there and everywhere making the search so fun.Besides books, toys and gift ideas, they have a delightful floral shop with plenty of blooms and vases to choose from. They can put together just about anything you can dream up or you can choose from their pre-made vases. They did one for me using Gerber Daisy’s and Spider Mums, that helped to brighten my desk area.Overall: If you’re looking for something to make you smile or giggle, ACME gift is the place to go!

The perfect place to go for deeply personal, special, and unique gifts! It’s easy to spend a long time in this store, giggling over the cards, books, and more. The floral arrangements are out of this world and unlike any I’ve seen before.I had an experience where something was wrong with the bouquet I received. The staff was understanding and worked to resolve the situation quickly and flawlessly.As of recently, the customer experience has changed slightly in that the staff does not interact or engage at all, whether you’ve just entered the store or been there for awhile.Overall, though, ACME is a must-stop in MHK!

This is my first time I’ve ever given a 1 Star review. But yeah. I walked into ACME Gift on May 9th 2021 around 2pm. I made my way towards the back where the flower counter is located. I stood there for a moment and waited for an employee to help. After a brief moment, a young female employee was giving me an awkward stare as if I don’t belong in their store.I said “Hello, I was wondering if I could get 2 two bouquets of flow...” She cut me off with a rude tone and said “We’re not taking any walk-ins. If you want something take a look at the front of the store.”It’s safe to say the customer service is pretty poor and the employees clearly can’t handle the pressure of working on a busy day like Mother’s Day without taking their frustration out on customers.

Good selection of gifts and clothing. As a Kansan who loves the Chiefs and Wildcats it’s hard to hold on to my wallet when shopping here.

Incredible customer service!! Jessie took the time to personally call me and help me create a gift that they would deliver, for I do not live in Manhattan. This is the place for you if you do not live in Manhattan but want to send a reasonably priced gift to someone who does!

Ahh I love this place. So many interesting gifts and things to look at. I always go to Acme for birthday or holiday cards and quirky gifts. They have areas for kids toys/gifts, jewelry, books, Manhattan/KS themed stuff, cards, socks, and so much more. I havent bought flowers from them yet but from what Ive seen they have a wide selection of beautiful flowers and even succulents. I always look forward to the new things they have in stock when its time to buy someone a gift

Kady was hands down one of the best customer service people I have ever had the experience of dealing with!!! She went the extra mile to show me some extra things!!! Definitely coming back!!

Acme and their amazing staff have ALWAYS pulled through for my flower delivery requests, even when only given a day’s notice. They cater to specific bouquet requests and the price is absolutely reasonable! Highly recommend!

It has a bunch of fun unique gifts. Plus funny gag gifts. I love going and finding new items they bring in. Plus there flower part of store always seem fresh and pretty arranged. It’s even better that it’s local!! Even after moving away whenever I come into town I try to stop there and see what’s new.

Acme has a great selection of quirky gifts and knick knacks. I love all of the Manhattan and Midwest themed shirts, stickers, pins, patches, hats, and glasses and everyone always wants to make a stop here while were walking through Aggieville. The florist in the back is a great addition.

I went to buy a birthday card. I stood at the counter for several minutes while someone I thought was the cashier (I was right) was leaning against the flower counter while talking to her friend. I proceeded to stand at the counter, waiting patiently. Storm cloud loomed over Aggieville. In the distance, I heard a lone coyote cry in desperation. Maybe he was waiting to purchase a birthday card just as I was. I patiently continued to wait while the cashier continued to talk to her friend. Hushed voices of disdain and fake concern coated her voice. Was she angry? Was she working? That I did not know. All I know is that I stood there, waiting to throw a good old Lincoln on the counter for an overpriced card because all the cards at WalMart suck. I continued to wait. Meanwhile, the coyote gave up the ghost. I think he got dehydrated. The cashier finally asked me, Are you ready to check out? *forehead slap*

Acme to the rescue!!! Time got away this year and I found myself frantic to get a delivery to my daughter-in-law for her birthday...TODAY!!! Since I live on the East Coast and she is in Manhattan, KS, I could have done a flower delivery (yah), or an edible arrangement (meh). Beggers typically cant be choosers, but wait! They can if you call Acme Gift shop! One of the associates invited me to FaceTime with her and she took me shopping around the store. She asked about my daughter-in-law and LISTENED to my responses. She took the time to help me find the perfect birthday present. She packaged it up and had it delivered the same day!Ive only been to the Little Apple once so far, but I have found that the people of this quaint community are, by far, the friendliest Ive ever experienced. April genuinely enjoyed taking me shopping and spending time getting to know me and my daughter-in-law. We had some good laughs and in the end, I have to say this was the best shopping experience I have ever had...and Ive done a lot of shopping!Thank you, April, for your above and beyond approach to customer service!

If you came to Manhattan from a big city or the coasts this will be your saving grace (aside from Baan Thai). They have unique designer and party gifts, well designed fun cards, cocktail table books, excellent real flowers that are beautifully put together in aritsan vases. Want hypericon berries or unique long stemmed green leafy things? They have them. They also have japenese mini toys, trinkets, and no coast sticker and gear, cute jewelry, glasses and vases. Do you need accent changing mints or sushi cats? Does your 10 year old like weird toys and erasers? They have them. I also like it for gifts to friends who already have everything - they will always have a funny book handy. After Hastings closed, this is a good place.

Ive been shopping at Acme for years for flowers, cards, and gag gifts. Great staff that are always friendly and the freshest longest lasting flowers in town.

I moved to Kansas City 6 years ago and I still haven’t found a place that arranges flowers like this one. I pick some up for my wife every time I’m in Manhattan.

It may be a little expensive, but its hard not to buy everything they have!
