I had Deep Roots replacing an old large timber retaining wall, almost a third of which was hidden under a large deck. We used the precast Versa-lok system. Sam did a great job budgeting the wall and discussing with me all the options we had. Given the age of the wall and complexity of the work we knew there could be unforeseen issues. I am pleased to say that these issues were minimal, and impossible to spot when we discussed the work. I am happy to report that we managed to stick very close to the original estimate. The work was very labor intensive because access is difficult, the deck needed to be dismounted board by board, and the old railroad ties dug one at a time, by hand. However, they were quick and always kept the work site tidy. DR also dug a French drain to improve drainage of a trouble spot near the retaining wall. Sam, Josh and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job. I recommend them without hesitation.

Deep roots took out a koi pond in our backyard and installed a patio in its place. Fantastic work. Their workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Unprofessional, very hard to reach, they dont return phone calls and they do sloppy work. 5 of my trees didnt even last a year and when they mowed my grass they damaged my fence, scattered my mulch and scratch my limestone retaining wall. .
