Awesome Store. I Like The Fact.That Menards. Is A State Owned Chain. Do A Lot Of Shopping. There.

Bizarre! Requiring a toddler to wear a mask certainly is not in the best interest of the child. Its been documented that young children wearing a mask for several minutes brings their oxygen levels down to a dangerous level by the CDCs standards. Also, I cant figure out how being carried or riding in the cart makes them safe.

It was a bit challenging to find someone to get something off the top shelf. No one at the designated desk nor could I find a callbox. Luckily I found a young man in hardware/tools who was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely look for him again if I need assistance!!

Unimpressed. Your store was very warm so we went to the lawn and garden area(outside) and took masks off just to be able to breathe. One of your employees yelled my wife to put her mask back on, even though there wasn’t anyone near where we stood. Needless to say we left without any of our items. There are more ways to approach someone especially if you have no ideas there health struggles.

When l was there to buy a small can of stain, the store didnt have a lot of people in it. Check out was a breeze. They are going to wareing masks in the store. Lumber prices are coming down a little. But its still.hard to find someone to help you.

Helpful counter and yard employees. Home office is terrible to work with.

As I am waiting to check out at one of the two registers open a Menards employee walks up to the cashier. He hands him a piece of paper and says here scan this. As they stand there discussing the result as I wait to check out I finally went to the other register. It seems to me you would take care of your customers before you deal with other matters. But, I realize that is archaic thinking.

I purchased what needed and picked up extra supplies. I stock up on things I need because I live30 miles away.

Came in to buy an air hammer. They had 10 of them, but the associate loaded them all in a cart and refused to give me one because she was fulfilling an online order. These had not been purchased yet. Its only once the associate takes them off the shelf and to the back that they have been purchased. I was disappointed in the service I received in this situation. The associate barely acknowledged me and quickly headed off with the black friday deal Id specifically come to purchase. No regard for the customer.

I like the store and its prices. What I DONT like is the non customer-friendly check out stations. Customer service used to be KING. Not any more. A clerk starts ringing u up without even a courteous hello, and has her back to you throughout the process. Turn yourself around and please acknowledge me, the paying customer.

I’ve started shopping more and more at Lowe’s. An old friend (male) told me to give Menards another shot because he is so happy with them.Last night BEFORE 7pm I called and asked for an order to be ready for pick up by 10 am the next day.I was told no problem. It was three items but several of each item.4 hinges- I told him the number20 posts- I told him the number16 fence panels-I told him the numberWhen I called at 9 AM they said there was no problems and everything was fine. Crew shows up at 9:30 to pick up items. Nothing has been pulled but the four hinges!!!!I am now three hours behind on this job AND have to pay for the labor because of Menards and their failure to do what they said they would. NOTHING but the hinges were pulled!!!!My guys had to do it all!I am now very upset and am headed to other stores because of the lack of decent customer service and respect for women at Menards.An ongoing issue when we order anything!!!

Saw everyone wearing masks and keeping space between customers. Found things we needed and had handicapped parking in front of the doors. 11% off to be used with another shopping trip is always nice.

As a prior employee, the management lets rude customers berate you and then punish you for it citing ‘attitude’. Word of advice if you’re job hunting, skip this place. You could do WAAAAY better.

All though the store was clean, the shelves were very empty. The staff was so-so with friendliness. All in all I wasnt impressed.

Wonderful customer service in the tile department.

They always have everything I need and at the best prices.

They require masks and it seems that they had someone near the front entrance to verify. Check their website ahead of time for current policy.The only reason they dont get 5 stars is because it did not seem like the cart handles and touch points had been cleaned or sanitized like at Lowes.Maybe just bring a Clorox wipe or something with you and do it yourself if you feel the need.

Always a positive shopping experience. A little bit of everything. One of my favorite stores. Everything from food to reading glasses, water heaters, to video surveillance camera systems.

Hubby didnt know if he needed 20, 30, or 36 inch supply lines. Luckily they had all 3.

Ran in for one item, didnt have a mask on me so I just ran in got my item standing at the checkout to leave they said sir wheres your mask said dont have one they said stay where you are Ill go get you one so they come back theyre waiting on me to check out until I put a mask on so I put the mask on they said sure we need your plastic wrapper for the mask cuz we have to charge you for it so I threw it at him it was 39 cents I ripped the mask off put it back in my pocket then you can hear the lady these people I think she could tell I was upset

Menards always has great things in stock. They have lumber, painting supplies, tools, etc. They have a large selection of everything construction related you could need. The staff is always nice and efficient. There are sometimes mail in rebates you have to do to get the discounted price. It is sometimes a pain to mail in the rebate and wait for the money back. However, it’s not too big a hassle. Overall it’s a great store.

Love their customer service. They are helpful in all dept. They follow through with you as a customer to make sure you get a answer or they find someone to help you. This is one of the reasons I keep going back.

Went in to look into buying paint. I understood that they were closing shortly but wanted to see what I could do. Instead of the lady at the paint counter asking how she could help me, she was rude and said in a very snotty tone we are closing in 10 minutes! If she would have kindly said that she would help me find what Im looking for but I may have to come back tomorrow to finish or purchase I would have been totally okay with that. Instead she just wanted to belittle me for not knowing exactly what I needed...this is why I was asking and didnt go grab it myself. I wish I caught her name. I get working with the public is stressful at a time like this, but if you dont have a kind bone in your body then find another profession. Completely disgusted! I will never go there again...and its all because of one rude employee.

Cashier was not the most thrilled about being there. We did have a return and that was very quick and the lady was very knowledgeable. We also paid the menards card bill there. Same lady that did the return. Very nice lady.

Menards is always a good place to go when you need something for the house. Lumber, hardware, paint, appliances, yard furniture, grills, power washers, snow blowers, lawnmowers. Its all there. I dont buy many groceries there but they have them, same with clothes. The biggest complaint I have is with the rebate system that they have. You have to send in a receipt to get what works out to a gift card that you can only use at Menards, keeps you coming back though.

I went to Menards to get railroad ties and I found someone for help right away. Very good service. I was able to go out to the lumber yard to see the price and condition of them. They were a standard tie 8 ft long. They seamed a little pricey at $10.50 a piece and they had several ties with large splits in them. Based on this I chose not to buy.

I like Menards as a shopping choice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their prices on humidifier filters among other items Ive noticed, however, have been steadily increasing.

Return system seems disorganized. Just dump lumber and siding returns in the warehouse, and leave. I feel bad for whoever has to put it all away!

Great store for cheap groceries but lumber yard help is awful. We come here on a regular basis and every time we need lumber on the higher shelves the forklift driver is in the corner texting and doesn’t offer to help. So my husband has to take down 5-10 loads down the stairs.

Away seem to have what I need.

So Ive applied for this place for this place for like four or five year as a part time jobs and have never been called back very qualified in all departments they dont hire Black people. This is in Manitowoc WI

Bigger than Green Bay!

Today marks 28 days since I purchased a very basic lumber package to be delivered from a Menards store about 2.5 miles away. To this day, I have not seen so much as a splinter arrive. Was told Id be called.....no call. Went to the store yesterday to check the status and was told they would call or email later in the day after they did some checking into it. No call....no email. I was told that there is a back up because of the Hurricanes. I stopped them right there. 1) This is Wisconsin where we have had no storm. 2) This order was placed well before Texas saw its first drop of rain. 3) 99 percent of the items are right there on site. Having paid for these items up front and receiving nothing, their business model rides the thin grey line between fraud and outright theft.

No better store

Rarely does anyone ask you if you need assistance. They will walk right by you even if you are trying to load piles of boards. This is why I tend to give Lowes most of my business, extremely helpful employees at Lowes.

They had no pressure treated lumber so I bought ceder and not a straight board to be found!!!!

Worst experience trying to get lumber from the building materials department. Todd & Chris were unhelpful to say the least. I asked three separate times for help, and each time was put off and given the run around. Thank you for wasting half of my day Chris and Todd! If you didnt want to help me, you could have called someone else to.

I will not be forced to wear a mask. I will be spending my money somewhere else.

They have plenty of products and a good selection. Generally speaking the things you buy here are quality. In addition, there are a few employees who are nice and knowledgeable. The unfortunate thing is that there are a lot of employees here who are not very friendly. I was just in today and the employee at the customer service counter should be in a training video of what not to do in customer service. Long story short, I will take my business to the local Lowe’s or Fleet Farm. I’ll even drive to Sheboygan to go to Home Depot before coming back here. I’ve had too many negative experiences here and this was the last one I’ll stand to take. I pay money for the products and service, not poor attitudes and judgment.
