I purchased the remote starter system for my vehicle. They explained everything clearly and the options that helped me to make a good decision about what worked best for me. They gave me a quote which was very close to the actual price, and the installation went smoothly even though there were 2 old nonworking remote starter systems in my vehicle and wiring that had to be removed and fixed and it was not an issue at all for them, they just fixed it. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased a new pontoon with an upgraded sound system. The sound system was not working as I was expecting it to. Took the pontoon to Sweet Sounds for Jeff and his assistant to work on and in about an hour had it sounding great! Sweet Sounds did a great job.

Recently I was having trouble with my aux/stereo system. I really had no clue what to do or how to fix it, so I called around town to see what I could do to solve the issue. They all told me they didn’t offer anything to fix it. Finally I called Sweet Sounds, and they told me they could take a look at it right away. They gave me two very good solutions, one of which I never would have thought to ask about. They got me in to fix it the following week, and did some amazing work on my stereo.The staff is patient, and they explain things very well. 10/10 would recommend!

I had my BMW 540i tinted by Jacob and have been very pleased with the quality job that he did. I went with the carbon tint at 30% and am glad I didn’t go any darker, looks great.I stayed at Sweet Sounds while the installation was occurring, I enjoyed the guest lounge and picking the other employees brains on what type of audio gear I should go with in the near future. Great people, products, and prices.

Took my truck in to add some tint to it. Had another issues trying to find replacement speakers for my Indian motorcycle. Dave was very helpful and new a lot about the equipment. If you need to replace or want to upgrade stereo equipment in your bike, Dave is the guy to see. I also love the tint!

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable! The system upgrade they installed on my bike is incredible! Added custom touches are second to none! For an older bike there was some challenges to retain the handlebar controls, but in the end everything worked perfectly. Thank you!

They are very hopeful I called with a question concerning my amp on my motorcycle and the types of speakers I could run they were helpful knowledgeable, so that I did not make a mistake in buying the wrong equipment even though I wasn’t buying it from them granted they are two states away from me. I would recommend them if I was ever in Minnesota.

I got my Volvo tinted about a month ago, the tints are 30% ceramic and have turned out perfectly. I was thankful they had a waiting room because I had driven about an hour to get there.

Jeff and the guys did a great job on our pontoon sound system. Very clean and detailed work. He listened to what I wanted and put together an affordable package that sounds awesome!!

Nice persons working there. They explained the costs, warranty, different percentages of tint, etc. before scheduling the appointment. Gave you all the information needed, afterwards to make sure the tint adhears as best as possible. All around great experience.

Last year I had a remote starter and speakers put in and they were great and today I took my Moms car in with a remote starter issue and they took care of it quickly and free of charge. The remote starter wasnt even purchased or installed there. Great team there. THANKS FOR HELPING

I got my starter put in December 2020. First off they didn’t put the wires back correctly. I was the last appointment of the day. I came from the cities to this shop because of a recommendation. Needless to say my 2 year old and I picked the car up at 4:55, within 10-15 of being called that it was done. I knew I’d need gas after that. I went to get gas and could not get the door to open with the button. I called Sweet Sounds to ask them to fix it and they were gone. I had to drive over to Kia we’re luckily there was a sales person and bang on the window to get him to get the door open so I wasn’t stranded with a 2 year old in Mankato, in the dark, during winter. This was fixed after I drove back. The system I got was one of the more “top of the lines” it’s never worked well and not at a distance either like they said. The icing on the cake is the sales person said if we ever need to switch it out of my vehicle to another it could be done a small service fee charge. Well we just call to have that done and it cost more then buying a new system. I specifically asked this question as I knew this day would come, unfortunately sooner then I thought. The sales person lied. I would never recommend this place to any friends or family that I have in the Mankato and I have lots of them. You can bet you bottoms dollar that I’m about to tell all of them about this too!!

I drove 2 hours and 30 minutes to Mankato for this Business to install a new head unit into my car. I can not be any more impressed with how much it cost to get it installed. It works great and meets my expectations. I will be coming back to get some subwoofers installed. Thank You!

Not straight forward with what you are purchasing. Expected top quality service for the price. Left with static in the radio and only one set of speakers vs 100% replacement I requested, and thought I was paying for.Much better after my husband brought it back and worked with the installer. Purchased rear speakers elsewhere....Finally it sounds perfect.

HANDS DOWN BEST AUDIO SHOP AROUND!!!After deciding to have my 15’ Escalade upgraded I had to decide who I trusted with my baby (which is worth more than some houses). I live in the MN metro so Sweet Sounds was NOT an easy choice logistically, but, after weighing my options, I decided to go with a company that I’ve literally done business with since I got my drivers license back in 1995 (I grew up in Mankato).I wanted to take my SUV to a company that had the expertise to disassemble a vehicle this complex, knowing the risk involved if any parts were damaged/broken during the process. That’s why a second rate, uninsured shop wasn’t an option. I wanted the best, period!I started talking to Jeff, the owner of Sweet Sounds around the end of November about what I wanted. He gave it personal attention from start to finish. He gave good, better, best options as far as product choices, and install options. I told him how other than the sub/amp cabinet in the back, I didn’t want it to look any different than a stock Caddy. I wanted the subs and amps to seamlessly integrate with the stock materials in the vehicle.After I put Jeff through ringer for a little over 2 months with questions that came up on my end about different products, install options, and changing my mind on budget and product, the install was ready to begin!The job was finished and when I got to Sweet Sounds to pick my vehicle up, I was so unbelievably blown away when Jeff showed me what him and his team had done!! I knew this job was a tall order and I thought I might have to compromise perfection in certain areas because of how complex the new Caddy’s are and all the materials and different bends and angles that would need to be tied into. NOT THE CASE!!! It was PERFECT all around! And I’m as picky as they come!!! There’s way too much done to my car to explain but I highly recommend anyone thinking about hiring this company, check out Jeff’s highlights from the build once they’re ready. They won’t disappoint!The day I picked up my Escalade Jeff spent close to 2 hours showing me what they did, why they did it, how they did it, and how I use it correctly. It is crazy the amount of equipment in this vehicle and if you hadn’t sat through Jeff’s presentation of the finished product, you’d think it was stock! Best part, you’d think that it was stock not only based on how it looks, but because NONE of my factory features were compromised. It all works EXACTLY how it did before the install began (with the exception of it sounding like a competition quality audio system now).I’m a person that expects perfection when I pay for something...that said, I rarely write reviews. You really need to blow me away for me to really appreciate what you did for me. These guys did that throughout the whole project, multiple times!Based on what I saw them do to my Escalade, and other projects I’ve seen of theirs, I honestly don’t think there’s anything these guys can’t do when it comes to mobile audio.
