Waited 11/2 hours for grocery pickup. They told me the groceries were ready for pickup got there and had to wait 1 1/2 hours in car. Target much more efficient. Just goes to show you get what you pay for…

This location is completely understaffed which is why its always in rough shape. They are currently hiring so be sure to apply yourself or refer someone. And please be patient during these trying times as this location is doing what they can to provide its usual service to customers. Allow extra time when shopping here

The Mankato Walmart should be redesigned since it is less than customer friendly. Additionally, when I was most recently in the store it had tons of products blocking aisles etc. This was the middle of the day, not early morning or late night. The mens clothing section was almost completely blocked off by pallets full of goods (fire hazard possibly). While I know they have increased efforts to get additional staff things at this location are always a mess. One of the worst stores for layout as well as outs that I have been in. Decided to try out the order pick up for groceries, 1st time was delayed by 30 minutes. Gave it a 2nd chance delayed again. Waited over an hour and a half, called the store twice. On the second time was told it wasnt fulfilled yet and said I would cancel it. The only remark was sorry but that. Will not be using the service again, had I know I would have had to wait that long I could have easily went in and retrieved all my items in less than 20 minutes. Very disappointed with store 1473.

The card reader wouldnt work properly and wasnt accepting my card even though I had just used in the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Long wait until an assistant help but didnt know if it was issues with the machine.

Very dirty outside and inside the building. Bad selection of mens clothing. I counted 23 grocery carts of abandoned items and previously cold food mixed in with other store merchandise. I hope they dont try to sell the previously cold items. Walmart will make us sick. Im willing to pay more elsewhere than shop Mankato Minnesota Walmart. Shame on your store and its untrained management.

I got charged for items mankato didnt have. Manager said they have nothing to do with online groceries. Wheres my $70 mankato walmart? Its been 5 days. Walmart.com doesnt help either. Hyvee my future. Go hyvee. Yeah.

I waited an hour for jewelry and asked 4 different employees and they all said the same thing someone should be there soon but NO ONE ever showed up. They even announced it on the loud speaker and still NO ONE showed up. I have alot of patience but waiting an hour and NO ONE knew where the key was or has it? I ended up just leaving before I really lost it.

The store is a complete mess, employees dont get product on shelves. Pallets of boxes are all over in store, in which there supposed to be off the floor by 9 am . Staff dont care. Better to shop online or go to different town and shop.

Our local store was always out of the reasonably priced printers. So I ordered it online to make sure I could get one. It never worked. We got back from vacation and I went to return it. Was told that you only have 30 days for a returns. No exceptions thats our policy. I wonder what HP would think about how they handled a defective product?

While often very busy around the first of the month, this store has been my go-to for food and miscellaneous items. The store has always been easy to buy from, utilizing the self checkout and planning for times that would be less busy. I would give this location 4.5 stars overall, but since that isnt possible, Ill round up to 5!

Always has the best deals. My boyfriend and I come here for absolutely everything!! Although my kitty has every toy that is offered for cats, we still come here for our kitty mouse toys. After a few months I throw them out due to them just being old. If you were wondering haha. I also have the Walmart card (prepaid) so I get cash back on everything. This fall I will be able to redeem $100 hundred dollars. With work being slow at the moment that is so going to help out!!:)

Idk it’s your standard Walmart I guess, too many people who like to walk slow in front of you. There’s usually not enough people working in customer service. Almost never anybody available at all in electronics, and GOOD LUCK if you ever want an item out of the cabinet in the tool isle. Literally nobody has keys and nobody seems to know who does. Also Walmart, get more of those small shopping carts!!!! It’s rare that I can find one but it’s really nice when I do. I don’t always wanna push around a giant cargo trailer just for a handful of groceries.It’s not all bad though, the self checkouts are really nice as they only make you pay for whatever items you scan. Saves me a lot of money. It’s worth the hassle.

I thought maybe I was going there between cashier shifts but after months and months of trying to find more than 2 cashiers available at any given time, I’ve given up. I have two young kids and I need a cart full of groceries every weekend. I have two choices. I can stand in one of two cashier lines 5 customers deep with full carts with my complaining kids and wait 30 minutes because the cashiers are slow and seem to have one item per bag rule OR I can try and go to the self check out with my $300 in groceries, try and watch my kids while I pretend to be a cashier and STILL have to wait 30 minutes for a cashier to come type in her code because I have to delete an item because my kid decided to scan something from the “as seen in TV” area. I LOVED self checkouts when I had no kids. Target has plenty of cashiers and the carts actually work so that’s a bonus. Shop at Target.

Too big of a store for me. I typically shop at locally owned, independent businesses. I made a bee-line to electronics. Gor immediate help from the desk in finding what i needed. Paid for it in electronics and made a bee-line out. Efficient and courteous staff in electronics.

Its a Walmart. Get your stuff and get out!Clean, well stocked, and decent clearance aisle (my fave). Otherwise its your run of the mill wally world.

Im a disabled mom and all the formula is locked up. This would be fine but i pushed and waited for their call button 7 times. No one came. Another mom came up and told me I would have to find someone. Again im diasbled so I physically cant wander around to find someone. Another parent came by in the the half hour I waited, they were able-bodied to track someone down. This parent grabbed the rest of the things they needed throughout the store and was able to bring a person over with them that of course helped them first.So I guess if you arent able-bodied you better be okay with waiting until someone else needs it too.

Personal its not a horrible walmart. Staffing is always an issue so if you are going in for something that needs physical contact with a worker I would make sure you have the time. Cashiers are few and far in-between but they have a plethora of self checks which is quick and easy.

Walmart is Walmart no matter which you go to. Although this one had security guards. Which both made me feel safer and concerned at the same time.

Go to Waseca Wal-Mart! Always neat, shelves fully stocked, no cluttered isles ever due to stocking shelves during the day, tidy, clean, more organized and friendly employees (always), who even say hi in passing. Its worth the 25 min drive!Mankato could expand their hours too, its Mankato! Big! Who wants to spend the xtra $$ to stop at kwik trip or Walgreens for items.

I do alot of, y shopping here and probably always will but I do however think that the staff could keep up on keeping the store clean and shelves stocked more frequently. One other thing is actually a recent change theyve had with putting all baby formula in a locked case, with a button to call for assistance. I have no lie sat and waited over 30 minutes for an employee to come and unlock the case. Which I dont mind having to have an employee getting the for,ula out for me its that while I waited I asked a handful of employees that had passed me by if they had a key to the case and not a single one did. 🤦 Then after waiting for that if your not done with your shopping they take your cans of formula up front until your done them they scan them for you thinking your going to steal formula that most of us women probably get from WIC! Idk but that move they made was a big turn off for me.

Friendly and welcoming place has what I am looking for more than half the time and prices are fare.

Horrible in store layout. Has 2 separate insecticide sections completely on opposite ends of the store. How come fly swatters can only be found next to the bagels? Insane.

Customer service was closed and they are supposed to be open until 9 or 10. Last 3times I have been there it has been closed early. They never have enough people working customer service. Always have at least a 15 min wait to get helped. The shelves are always empty and trying to get someone to help you is next to impossible. Mankato Walmart has alot to be desired. Try not to go there.

Bought a $240 vacuum mop combo only to open and find it had been used with an empty cleaner…..completely packaged to appear as though it had NOT been used. When I opened it, dirty water had literally saturated the instructions.

Better than Target for stock. Only 1 actual cashier. Ill not properly trained to cashier, so when something doesnt scan in a couple of tries, I get it for free.

Employees are generally helpful. Some are very friendly and helpful, some are not. Selection of products was not great during my last visit. But could be the results of the pandemic or shipping delays. Garden Center staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

It was horrible.... no cashiers, the self check out didnt accept my money, even if it did they had no bags at that check out. Most of them only accepted card. I will never go to another Walmart again. Its pathetic the biggest chain brings in the most money is the biggest laugh. Horrible experience and it will be my last experience...

I know we are facing supply shortage issues, but the condition of this store and the people working there were beyond words. Vowing its the last time Im stepping foot in that location.

My cousin and I came exactly at 3 when the pick up time was specified to and the person who got here after us has received their order of a similar size before us despite us having waited 10 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re busy or can’t afford to wait for 35 minutes. It would be faster just to go and buy it yourself.

I just called electronics and got transferred, not once, but twice to the sporting goods to ask a simple question. Both times no one was there to answer. I waited a little bit until I called again... and now Im talking to customer service who also had transferred me to sporting goods. Still no one answered! Lame

The Mankato Walmart was doing much better until they lost Mike the store manager. And Tracy the assistant manager. Its been going downhill since.

Not enough staff, this time staff was extremely friendly and helpful for first time in a long time!

When I went shopped last time on aisle A13 I found a lot of Products like Foster caster expired since April 2019 and marshmallows are expired since 2018 . And much more, I feel this is a careless from the management about people life and health . They need to handle the responsibilities about that. At the end the manager of the store need to follow up and make sure everything in his store are good not expired ‘’ THIS IS PEOPLE LIFE AND HEALTH’’ and should be accounted about that. Regardless the other employees whom responsible about that.

Literally let a lady walk out of the store in front of us who left almost 200 dollars worth of unpaid product in the self check out lane. Had to wait for her to come back and pay so we could get in line. And the only reason she came back was because she realized she forgot, not because a store member noticed. We almost got stuck paying for all of her items without even realizing it.

Rude customers, unstocked shelves, boxes and garbage everywhere. Arrangement issues. Shelves look messy. Hard to find things.

Watching people turn off lights on a cashier and not say anything to the people down the lines and make it the cashier job is so not the correct way. And thee most rudest supervisor I’ve ever seen talk to elderly people should not be working here.

Pick your poison when it comes to this Walmart either get the hero behind the customer service that challenges everything you return without a receipt or you get the receipt its not bringing up person or you get the you cant return that you dont have the receipt person so good luck

It was a very quick in and out and I found what I needed, but it was still very busy and the store is HUGE compared to the layouts Im used to. Parking lot is odd too... I dont think Ive ever seen a WM before this one where you turn off the road behind the store.

Shelves are almost never stocked and this precovid. Now you have to pay for your makeup at the end of the makeup section which is such a pain when I have a cart full of food and essentials. Since that has been put in place I now just go to Ulta rather than swiping my card twice in the same store.

The only thing worse than the people that shop here is the success rate that a teamber will show me where a product is.Convenience in mass is all they offer they are the harbinger of our inevitable dystopian future....I no longer greeted, I get counted like cattle.

Well today ID have to give 2 stars. We go here all the time as seniors we have difficultly reaching top shelf items that are pushed back. So I asked a girl for help and she said Im off the clock, not let like let me find some one or anything. Very nasty and rude. I worked in a grocery store for years. Never would we have said something like that. Ugh just made me want leave. My husband got on of their short ladders and we got it ourselves. Then instead of shopping longer we went home. Ive noticed a lot of their in store shopping people are rude, like your in their way. Not very happy and doing more with amazon.

Never any carts, general floor staff is clueless about the location of any item and act inconvenienced when asked.

The Busiest Walmart Store in North America. Shop early in the day, avoid on weekends. Parking lot is a pain to access lots of people that should not have drivers license. Keep your head on a swivel.

Decent curbside pickup offers available. Sometimes weird items are subbed or very common items are out of stock, but overall content.

I placed an order online to be picked up at 6pm & they were right on time, gently placed my items in my trunk, and was very friendly so i even gave a tip!
