Fantastic food. Very friendly service. We eat Mediterranean in every city we travel to and this place certainly ranks in our top 3. The kabobs are delicious and the falafel is perfect.

Food here is dope. I usually get catering for my club meetings a few times a year and they never disappoint. Prices are reasonable and they have weekly specials like Kabsa and biryani.

Hes never had lamb meat or this kind of food before... He absolutely LOVED IT! And, I did too! Bought an extra Gyro home for him, for later too! Great food!
Amazing delicious food, huge variety of selections, friendly staff, super clean dining hall and restroom, nice parking in front and at the back of the restaurant, location is great. We had our lunch yesterday, it was Shawarma plater and tea, it’s first time for me at the city, and where looking for halal Muslim restaurants, thanks to google that show this restaurant for me, after long day you want nice meal, and that what I got, I really recommend this restaurant. And they have a big variety of grocery Arabic items which you can’t find it else where in USA . God bless you, and wish you all the best.
If it were up to the food alone, Id give five stars, because the food really is very good, and pretty big portions. Service leaves a lot to be desired, seemed to be just a bunch of kids trying to run the show, while having no idea what theyre doing. Im not trying to come down hard on them, either, theyre young and inexperienced, but some competent leadership is definitely needed here. Again, the food was fantastic.
Holy moly. This place is a hidden gem. The service was great. But the food was amazing! This is a MUST stop. Incredible. I have to go back! Just be prepared for garlic breath! 😜
We stopped here because we really miss the old shawarma place that was just around the corner. We tried many new things and somewhere delicious some were not. I only gave three stars because we havent really given it a full chance and plan to return. We had ordered a family style option where we had to build the shawarmas and instead of where they built them for us. That might make a huge difference as we really didnt know what we were doing.

Service was extremely slow and extremely poor. My friend ordered for his wife and son and I ordered for myself and it took a while just to get the order placed. We did not ask for the food to go and sat facing the counter so there was no confusion over where to take the food. Over 1 hour passed and they served every customer that came after us. No food and no explanation. I starred at the manager and he took some boxed cold food from behind the counter to me and had to go back and make all the rest of the food. No real apology and no effort to make things right. I am very disappointed in the entire lack of service given that I spent $19 and my friend spent more. No excuse for disregarding our orders and serving me cold food. This is a one and done.

Eating here was a blissful experience, primarily because of how good the food, Turkish coffee, and baklava were. If youre looking for something more on the authentic side I would say your search is over.
I usually dont review unless I had a really good experience or a horrible one (very rare). My first time eating here and my phone in order was ready quickly, food was hot and very good. The amount of food for the price was great. I paid 17 bucks and I think my bag of food was about 4 pounds. I agree with other reviews here, the gyro sandwich was really good and it was HUGE. Eat here. Go hungry. You will like it. And give em a good tip 😃
This place is always delicious! My favorites are the rice, gyro, falafel and hummus. Super busy on weekend nights, so order ahead if you can!

Recently visited this place. We tried falafel sandwich & shawarmania chicken sandwich. We took the pita as the bread for the sandwiches. It was quite good & delicious. One thing we felt is due to pita bread the sandwich was feeling a little dry while eating. It would have been better if we get little more sauces inside the sandwich which will make it juicy. Falafel sandwich was a thumbs up. Also tried Punjabi sambosa, it tasted similar to Indian snack samosa which too was good. Overall nice & friendly staff.

I placed an online order for a gyro, sauce on the side, and paid extra to add cheese. I received a gyro with no sauce included, no cheese, and in their place, I found hair.When I called and explained the situation, they proceeded to tell me that they did add those things and that I was mistaken. The incompetent manager on duty at the time, Ahmad K., eventually offered to make me a new gyro if I brought the old one back in. I said ok, thats fine, no problem, only to have the phone call disconnected.Im not a Karen and I wasnt being unreasonable or argumentative. All I wanted was to sink my teeth into a savory gyro; something that the tzatziki sauce plays a vital role in. Needless to say this was my first time and last time I visit this establishment, unless they change up their management (recommended).

I have been here a few times and each time the food is amazing! I recommend ordering online then coming to pick it up so you don’t have to wait 15-20 minutes for food. However if you do order in the restaurant the wait is well worth it since each item is freshly prepared. They also have excellent customer service!

YOU WON’T REGRET EATING HERE! If you want to taste real middle eastern food that’s authentic and uses original family recipes, this is the place to be. I’ve tried almost every middle eastern cuisine in Minnesota and by far Shawarmania was the BEST! You get a lot of food for the price you pay. I’ve always been welcomed by the staff. The restaurant owner Ahmad has always gone above and beyond to serve us every time we visited his restaurant. I would definitely rate it higher than 5 stars if I could!

They make the best tasting food in town, and the portion sizes are nice. I usually order the gyro sandwich. Ive also tried a lot of foods here that I never would have had before, and liked all of them.

Shawarmania has great food. It would be great if they would work on their takeout execution. I have come to pick up my food several times and it wasn’t ready. I would be told it would take 10 to 15 minutes and I when I arrived be asked to wait another 10-15 minutes. This has happened about 5 different times.
When I first walked in I was greeted with the biggest smile! First time ever experience and will surely be back. The staff is so kind and held a great conversation. The owner definitely knows what he’s doing. The meat was cooked perfectly (literally to die for) and the desert was excellent. Will 100% be back!

Best place in town! Everything Ive ever had had been great. Falafel is really good, lamb had always been good. Must try the Friday lamb shank special. Staff is very friendly and you get to see them cook your food. Highly recommend to anyone.

This place is AMAZING! Not only is the food some of the best Ive ever had, but the employees are some of the kindest people youll ever meet. The value here is INSANE. The portions are HUGE and the food is undescribable. Ive had some of the best meals of my life here and I plan to have many more.

This place is legit.Ended up sharing a dinner for 2 that had a little bit of everything on the menu. Everything was amazing. The hummus and pita bread was simple, yet satisfying. The highlight of the meal had to be the lamb and the chicken. They were seasoned to perfection, and the lamb is the best Ive ever eaten. The basmati rice served with it complemented the flavors nicely. Definitely check this place out. The staff working were very friendly and I cant wait to pay Shawarmania a visit again!Definitely check this place out!
Absolutely delicious, the best gyro Ive had in years if not ever. Fries were good, veggie sambosas were delicious (but a touch spicy just to forewarn you) cheese sambosas were delicious. The portion size on the baklava I thought was on the small side and was a little dry, maybe offer a larger portion and increase the price a bit? The shawarma I got seemed to be lacking in sauce (maybe none on it at all?) and needed more pickles and tomato to be more like what Im used to, but the chicken was cooked well and was juicy. Overall a delicious meal at a fair price. First time customer and Ill definitely be back. :)
Great little place. Kinda of hidden, not normally a place I drive by. Found it by coincidence on Google Maps. Great food, the service was EXCELLENT, there is a small shop there for some spices, treats and miscellaneous groceries as well. Im very glad I stopped in and I will be back for more. The entrance from the parking lot isnt overly obvious, there is a small sign by the door, would be nice if there was a larger sign like there is on the front side of the building.

Hands down, the most amazing falafels I have ever had! Friendly service, freshly made and delicious food, and a cute little market to boot! A bit hard to find, but it means it is a nice quiet oasis from the college area hustle and bustle!

My mom and I came here today and first off the staff is so nice! My mom has been sick for a long time and the young lady working the register made my mom some hot mint tea cause she noticed my mom didnt feel good. Second, we have had a lot of gyros in our time and its really easy for the meat to be super dry and gross but the meat was so tender and full of flavor! Once my mom feels better we will definitely go back so she can actually taste the food 🙂
