We just had the best experience today at this Dairy Queen. I wish I would have wrote down the name of the young lady who helped us. She was genuinely happy and the most friendly fast food service employee we have interacted with in a long time. Even my 8 year old commented on how nice, friendly and joyful the worker was. She wished us a great day and she left us with smiles on our faces. Kudos to this young lady! The ice cream treats were great as well!

Blizzards are so good. You cant get it upside down, but thats cuz its so full.

Fairly rude. Felt for the new girl she was training. After taking my order they turned around and grabbed the cake piece for my order with no gloves, directly after handling my cash. I took it and tossed it in the garbage. Money wasted.

This place is always great. Nostalgic and delicious, cant go wrong. 10/10 totally recommend.

Love this DQ! Feels more personal, its packed with character. Generous portions, its a sweet treat that cant be beat in the heat. Friendly staff and quick service is what sets this DQ apart from the others.

I love this Dairy Queen! The staff here is very friendly and outgoing. This is as close to a mom and pop shop as youre going to get with a will-known brand name. Delicious ice cream not pre-packaged like the others - made from scratch just like it should be. Id give this place 10 stars if I could.

The ice creams pretty good. The service is okay. And its pretty close to the neighborhood. The ice cream arrives pretty fast, and its actually really cheap. I only had one bad experience but I can tell the person was just having a bad day. I mean, working at an ice cream shop could potentially suck. No offense, but making ice cream and having someone else eat it? No thank you! Anyway its pretty good.

Sometimes Ive wondered if free blizzards for life would ruin the experience. Im sure theyd settle on a payout if the situation arose.

Amazing Blizzard Cakes! Im so glad this location still carries blueberries after the rest of the DQs in town discontinued them. I wish they were open all year round!

Prices are fair. They have limited hot food, mainly hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches. I love their blizzards. They do not participate in the blizzard flip, but the blizzards are great. They even have an XL size. It is a very small building with only 2 small tables inside, but they do have some outdoor seating. They do carry cakes and treatzza pizzas as well.

I ordered 2 medium dips I am certain they were larges! Thanks ladies!

Its an ice cream chain. Solid ice cream with a nice selection. They dont sell hot food here like they do at other Dairy Queen locations, though.

Most of the young employees are rude and have an attitude. When you walk in it looks like youre a bother to them and that they could care less about your business. The workers talk to eachother more than communicating with the customers. The only positives about this Dairy Queen are the hours and the ice cream/food.

DQ West is a Mankato classic. Our family has been going there for 30+ years. Open in the Spring and Summer. You always know the official start of summer, in Mankato, when DQ opens. Peanut Buster Parfait!
