October 22, 2021 I Was A victim of racial profiling at this store by an older employee, With red Hair, I was Informed her name is Laura. I live in the area and have been here MANY times, I’m A Member with the Ulta Brand and had never had this issue! The Women here are usually very kind and unbiased no matter a customer’s appearance. This day however, I was shocked, Saddened and OUTRAGED by the treatment I received! Laura repeatedly followed me around and at first I ignored this behavior but after a few times I stopped in an aisle and turned around to face her directly Just to be sure It wasn’t in my mind but Laura had NO SHAME! I’m Disgusted and Appalled. I wonder if Ulta Praises this hostile treatment from members of their team to their customers of color like myself? I Will NEVER Return to this Store Again and honestly I’m Not Sure I’ll Ever Support the Ulta Brand At all!! If You Are Too A Woman of Color (Black, Brown, Etc) I Suggest You Think Twice Before Going to this location, Laura May Be At The Door Or Down The Aisle Right Behind You Just Waiting.. And imagine How Uncomfortable That Would Be.
This location is amazing!!! The staff here are always smiling, and make you feel extremely welcome. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years now so I know OUTSTANDING customer service and every employee at this location gives me that. Danielle helped me out this last time she was absolutely AMAZING!!! Shauna cashed me out and she was absolutely AMAZING as well!!! Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable, and talented!!! Keep up the great work!!! You have a loyal customer out of me for life!!!❤❤❤
Very helpful staff. Answered all my questions about hair care and perfume. I even had one girl color match me for foundation. She did a wonderful job! And I love my new foundation. I will be recommending this ulta to all of my friends and family. I will be back for sure!
Need appointment for the salon. Due to covid they arent doing makeup. One thing you need to know make sure you get a total work up front. They will perform services that were not requested and you wont know until you get the receipt. They trimmed less than a 1/2 inch off my hair charged me 65$ for a haircut. And another 100$ for a conditioning treatment I didnt request. So be careful! You will get a bill for over 300$ or more! In addition to the highlights I asked for at 145$.
Just a fantastic place for the special lady in your life. The ladies here make it so easy for a guy to visit and purchase items for the females in his life. The selection is a little mind blowing as there is just so much variety. Top shelf brands and Inexpensive variety too. Its easy to get dazed but thankfully the ladies will do whatever it takes to help you make your decision. Easy to find, more selection than the big anchor stores too. They even have a beauty bar in the back to treat your loved ones to specialty services. Great store.
Great store! I come here for my shampoo and conditioner, which is always in stock for a pretty fair price. The ladies at the registers are friendly yet professional, and it does appear as though they enjoy their place of work. Ill be back as soon as I need a refill!

Prices are high, you can usually find the same products at Marshalls, TJ Max, those kind of places for half the price. Ulta needs to offer more sales & coupons

Remarkable hair cut ! Letty always does a phenomenal job, but i love the sassy, sexy cut and style she did today. When I went to check out, I discovered I had left my credit card at home, the manager allowed me to leave and return before closing to pay for my cut because she recognized that I was a frequent customer. Wow !! What great service. In addition to the great, cut and service I had earned $11 in reward points, what a beautiful day!!

I love this store, and I buy all my beauty supplies from here. However, when I went to the store earlier this year, I feel like I was racially discriminated against. I had picked up some armani perfume for my mom, and one of the ladies immediately comes up to me proceeds to say that she was going to keep the perfume at the front. I thought this was protocol so I just gave it to her. In fact, when I got the cologne I just gave it to the lady to put in the front. When walking around I saw another Caucasian woman walking around with a bottle of expensive perfume. If that wasnt bad enough, when I got to the register they didnt have my cologne and when I asked the lady why she had to go put the fragrances in the front she started getting an attitude with me. Even though they eventually found the cologne, I cant help but wonder if she only took the fragrances from me because of my skin color. I told my best friend about this incident and she knew the exact lady I was talking about, so I cant be the first person that this has happened to.
My appointment for hair extensions application was canceled without explanation and the manager yelled at me that I am not allowed to come to the store again. Noone cared that thanks to theirs faulty booking, I was not seen and thus had to spend $ on a wig! So I could go to the event later. The older lady with long blond hair should not be a manager. She is rude and treated me like a criminal! Just for saying that this is not all right.Towards the owner response: I contacted the store, and the corporate and got no solution.

Could have been better...as usual I had to hunt someone down and get their attention to help me because there was no one nearby. After I found someone she did take me to what I was looking for, but the weird part was she pointed at the area with her foot and just walked off. Didnt ask if I needed anything else, nothing just turned around and walked away.
Regardless how you feel about masks I didnt need to be disrespected about my medical exemption for not being able to wear. The woman at the store front was extremely rude and disrespectful about it asking me for proof of my medical exemption that I dont need to provide. Im never returning to this store.

The staff is super friendly. Ive been coming here for years to get my hair colored, highlighted, cut and styled. I love how Fouzia takes her time on my hair and doesnt make me feel rushed so she can move onto her next client. Id definitely recommend her to anyone wanting a thorough, professional coloring.

For the past 4 years I’ve had my brows waxed by Cristina at the Benefit counter. All these years she’s done more than an AMAZING job!!!!! The attention to detail that she puts in, never seen. I can tell that she not only loves her job but knows what she does really well because of the quality of her customer service and the extensive knowledge she has about brows, waxing and makeup. Strongly recommend her, and I thank you Cristina for all that you’ve done for me through the years, for helping me look and feel beautiful! Really thank you!!!
Ulta, train your staff better at identifying counterfeits. As I proceeded to make a purchase today, the cashier checked the bills and one of my $50 bills was marked dark brown and the rest light yellow. The manager came over to double check and told me all of them were fake. I took out some different ones. They all marked light yellow again. Again, she told me they were still all fake. I left the store feeling embarrassed and like a criminal. I went straight to the bank to get the bills verified and only the one marked dark brown was fake.Counterfeits do circulate. I understand. The staff were doing their job. I understand. When I called back the store to let the manager know that her method was flawed and she should look into it. She adamantly and stubbornly told me that it was store policy and she couldn’t accept any of those bills. I wasn’t trying to convince her to accept my money. As the matter of fact, I left without making the purchase because I was so annoyed. I could have paid with a card, but I didn’t want to. They’ve just lost a customer.

I made an appointment to get a 60 minute facial. I made the appointment over the phone and I specifically asked if I could bring my son with me and he could watch Netflix, I asked if not I wouldn’t schedule the facial. On the phone the woman told me it was not a problem. So I arrived at my appointment and was told I cannot get my facial because my son was with me. Maybe communication could be better between staff so customers aren’t frustrated. I understand the reasoning but was told two different things. Usually I love this Ulta, and I drive farther just to shop at this ulta, but today I did not receive good customer service.
Helpful friendly service. They carry the products I like and their hours are convenient. My only complaint is that they never have my perfume in stock but I just order it online.
I waited for 30 minutes to get help and I could not find anyone. One clerk was helping a women and not once did she acknowledge me or say she would be right with me. The other one was waxing someones eyebrows and when she was done I asked her about a certain product and she said it was new and didnt know much about it. She never asked me if there was something else she could help me with, just walked away. This is the second time this has happened. I will NEVER go in there again. Terrible customer service.
Today I experienced horrible customer service by an employee named Nadeem. I exchanged an item that I purchased yesterday. When she asked me did you use it? I said no, she laughed and rolled her eyes while looking at another coworker, I was pretty embarrassed specially when she didn’t even open the product that I returned. I am positive I am not the only person that has returned an item, and I really hope the manager can address this issue with this untrained employee, as returns are not uncommon at Ulta. I do have to say that this is the first time this has happened to me at this store, everyone else have been really nice and helpful.
The manager Monica was very informative and extremely helpful. The ladies at the register were very friendly and helpful as well. They are knowledgeable on the products and brands.
I have been going to Ulta in Mansfield for a while now to get my eyebrows done. Cristina at the Benefit Brow Bar is AMAZING. My eyebrows were so thin and messed up and after some much needed TLC, Cristina has me back on track. She will be the only person I let touch my brows from here on out. THANK YOU CRISTINA!
First time using the hair salon. Moved to the area in February and driving to Garland to have my hair done (used same stylist for five years). Leary to use someone new, but more concerned about brand of products used for coloring. Hailee quite k knowledgeable about Redken Color Fusion. Please with appointment. A bit higher in price than previous stylist and she always trimmed my hair. Cut or trim extra. All in all pleased.
I would not suggest getting hair colored or cut here. It was suggested that I do a bayalage color since I was going from blond to brunette. My stylist ask if she could do a shorter root color for times sake..I had originally said i wanted the darker side of my bayalage to go half way down my hair length. Second, her scissors were not cutting-and she did not go back and retrim what she had cut with her broken scissors. Nor did i get my hair thinned like requested. I felt i couldn’t ask her to fix it because of the rush she was in to get off in time. They shouldn’t book appointments at 6:30 if they’re going to treat customers like that. Super disappointed in how my hair turned out and won’t be going back to their salon. I’m hoping to get refunded as it was $200.00 not the $95.00 that was quoted to me. If my hair would’ve turned out amazing I would have no issue with $200.00, but since it was so poorly done it’s just not worth it. I’ve never had an issue going to a darker color so I’m still confused as to why it was so expensive and so terribly done.

My rating goes to the Mansfield store. I went in looking for something special. I was the first store clerk I found for help & she graciously showed me exactly what I was looking for. The same thing can not be said for theArlington Lincoln Sq store. I saw 1 cashier and not a single other clerk in the 30 minutes I was in the store. My visit was at 4:00pm on a Monday afternoon. I will not go back to that store.
Kaci is amazing in the salon! I have short hair and finding someone who does an amazing job hasnt been easy, but Ive always had a great experience! Everyone there is so polite and helpful. Highly recommended this location!
I always find what I need at Ulta with their great selection of make-up and skincare along with hair products and a salon in the back. The girls are very helpful and friendly. Good location thats easily accessible from 287 and the facilities are always clean and organized.

100% recommend Cristina from the brow bar! She’s so nice and awesome! I have blonde eyebrows and you basically can’t see them and I’ve always gotten them waxed at nail salons but nothing more. It never made much of a difference. But I went in one day and they had a deal going on for eyebrow wax and dye. I decided to do so and set it all up with her and sat down told her to do her thing and the outcome was amazing. I’m never one to even do anything with my eyebrows but she taught me what to do and made my eyebrows look so good! Not only can you see them but they have a very sexy shape and I get compliments all the time!! I will continue to go back to her!

I’ve referred friends to her and they love her as well. I walked in today for the time ever to have eye brows done. Now I know that people set appointments but had also head by phone that they accept walk ins. I walked the girl at the door asked if I was looking for anything I said that I would like to get my eyebrows done she politely said just go have a seat at the bar. I sit down in the chair and they lady looks over at says all sparky like what can I help you with? I replied I would like to get my eyebrows waxed. No eye contact goes back to what she was doing and says I dont have any appointments today. So you can go. And Im not the only one she upset. And older couple had walked in and as well. They were also upset with how she had responded. The guy asked you dont take walk ins ? Before she even answered him she just looked at him like are fn serious?. My thing is this if they do not accept walk ins they need to have signs on the doors and notify all employees at all times about info on such things as this. Had the greeter said that they were no longer offering walk ins or simply asked if I had an appointment for my eyebrows that would have solved my issue before I was rudely turned away.

So, I sent my daughter in for her birthday. She had a bad experience with a rude employee ( who may have been having a bad day, so I am choosing not to name her or the service my daughter went in for) and left feeling embarrassed and disheartened. I decided to call management (as a manager myself, I know its important to be informed) Karina took my call and was professional, understanding and empathetic. One bad experience will NOT keep us from going to Ulta in Mansfield, however, Karinas professionalism WILL keep us loyal customers! The 4 star review is for overall satisfaction of this one situation, but Karina gets 5!
I got eyelashes put on here for my sisters wedding! Been getting my brows done for a while, mainly by Kristie, but everyone has been great. If you need help with lashes, you can either buy their $15 brand and putting them on, trimming, and teaching you is free, or buy any lashes and they will do the same for a small charge. I got so many compliments after Kristie did my brows and lashes, I never would have been able to do them on my own.This location is nicely consistant regarding stock, employees, wait time, and cleanliness, even the parking lot is well kept.I prefer to get my brows done at their Benefit Brow Bar over the next door European Wax Center or a nail salon. The mix of wax and tweeze means my brows are never over plucked and the price feels fair.
Never had an issue here but I mainly go for an eyebrow arch. Kristy does a great job! She is quick and very professional.
I dont really shop here myself but come with my girlfriend quite a bit. Its nice so now I know what she likes and wants so I can get it too. The people are generally nice for a makeup store and decently helpful. I wish the would restock more frequently.
Very nice people here. Bright and clean. Easy to see why it stays busy, and even though they stay busy theyre very attentive and keep the lines low, all the while giving personalized service to everyone.

Gregory at The Salon was awesome! He communicated so well. Letting me know how much of my splits ends needed to be cut and he did just that. Im always so afraid of getting my hair cut because Ive had plenty of bad experiences in the past. They fit me in within 10 min of inquiring for a hair cut. I will definately come back!
I have been to this location twice and had an excellent experience both times. Im relatively new to DFW (Mansfield), and have found local customer service to be hit or miss. However, the ladies at Ulta have consistently displayed an eagerness to help find products best for ME... even if its a $7.00 clearance item. They make my top 5 list of places in area with superior customer service Thank you, and Ill be back soon :-)

Its the Mansfield ULTA. The selection isnt good. Being an ex high end cosmetic saleswoman advising women, there cosmetic reps dont have any training. One lady was putting Este Lauder on a customer, I was looking for my mascara. She tried to tell the other customer my mascara was impossible to remove. She needed to buy a different one. I informed her that Urban Decay makes a melt away that will remove any eye make up easily. If you dont wear it, dont advise on it. Just go to the department store if you want a better match. Use this ULTA just to purchase what you already know works.
They are always helpful and answer all my questions.

I decided to get baylage and a haircut for my birthday. My appt was at 10am and was supposed to take 2 to 3 hours. I ended up having to get my hair dyed and bleached twice because of wrong color was applied and my hair color is still very uneven and not blended well. My haircut which I asked for 2 to 3 inches off became 5 inches off and was so choppy and uneven I could have cried but the manager stepped in and made it look better. I did not get out of the salon until 7:30 p.m. and I got there at 10 a.m. I had to pay almost $200 for this awful day.
Great store, lovely layout, lot of different products, from hair to makeup,etc. There is also a salon in back. But they werent very helpful nor personable when speaking to me. I wouldnt say they have much for black hair.
This review is ONLY for the Mansfield,TX Ulta location. I have been an ULTA customer for 2 decades. Moved back to the Mansfield area when this location had just opened. I remember the store front being vandalized During this time. Why am I writing about this?Because of the traumatic experience I had back in Dec2015/Jan2016. I was a witness to a robbery at this location. The managers should have come out of their offices, instead of making the two employees handle the situation. My husband saw me inside the store, from our Sequoia, just standing there. He thought I was waiting for the manager or an employee to get me a product or answer a question.If your a customer that goes to this location...DO NOT WALK IN WITHOUT YOUR PHONE.I could not call my husband to come into the store and wait with me.The employees told me the police were coming. Of course I will stay. After being a customer with ULTA for 2 decades this location brought to the forefront me questioning my safety. Furthermore, the stress that this incident caused without the mangers coming out to make sure their employees and me as a customer were okay....makes me question ULTA and their policy and procedure. Especially the slew of questions I had that came after the incident. The legal counsel and yes the therapy after the mis-handle of this situation. The police never showed btw.Because of this incident I make sure I have phone in hand when I walk into any store in Mansfield or elsewhere. My husband now is super vigilant of my whereabouts. Because of this incident he now clearly sees the difference he has as a White male and the difference I have as a person of color.

In my point of view, this place is much more better than othee Ulta Beautys place. I have gotten a great experience here so far. The genterman with no hair is so helpful and open. He spent his time on advising me which brands or products are good for my hair fall. I truly appreciate him because thanks to him, I got the right one dealling with my issues.
