Im going to be up front and say that this place is one of the nicest places to go for a general, hobbyist hangout spot. The staff that were working there were incredibly helpful, not only to myself and my friend, but were able to help us while also tending to other customers, seeing someone willing to work so diligently and passionately is the greatest sign of a business who is destined to thrive. My only concern is the drive for myself as I do live decently far, but that may be a blessing as it will keep my wallet from hating me. Overall this place had such a nice and warm friendly tone, with a great customer experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a hobbyist getaway.

I used to like this place. Great selection, but lately they sell their Pokémon product at scalper prices. Will only go there for MTG products.

Went there for edh last Friday friendly staff and good prices for mtg products

I found Darkhound thru Google and have visited twice in the last month. Both times I found staff to be super friendly and helpful. Im just getting into D&D and was a bit intimidated not knowing much about it, but I was able to find a great selection of items and even ran my very first homebrew session with what I purchased.

Best magic the gathering card nights in DFW

This is a small game store. The staff is kind and they have a decent streaming set up. Im guessing their main game is magic, but I went for Weiss. They carry a decent selection of the top games and of course a lot of magic singles. They were light on accessories, but for the size of the store it seems about right. Its a fun atmosphere and Ill be back.

Moved into the area not to long ago, and needed a new place and this is definitely it. Went to browse and wanted to get into dungeon and dragons, and magic the gathering. With the well informed staff he gave me all the information he knew and about the events they hold where I can learn from the regulars. Wish I asked his name so I can mention him, but I can only assume since he was of great help so are the other employees. They arent the biggest store but have a good variety of product and room for plenty of people to relax and hang out. Also it was really clean and had an amazing atmosphere.

From the call to the shop before I ever entered, to the steady and frequent trips to the shop, every experience has been wonderful! The helpful and friendly store owners are available whenever theyre needed and and the fun and inviting crowd makes playing or shopping enjoyable. The environment wasnt toxic at all, and Id recommend to anyone who wants to buy, sell, and most importantly play with a good group of people!

A good place to play magic with weekly events. A friendly and knowledgeable staff I will be back again come see me for a game of commander. Prices are reasonable and around MSRP.
