Probably the best cocktail bar Ive ever visited, considering the combination of concept, delicious cocktails and the friendliest hosts. Sophisticated drinks made by a highly skilled barman. Bonus: free water and popcorn, not very typical!

Simply the best cocktails of Groningen! The drinks are made by excellent bartenders whom share their passion with creating the best cocktails possible. The menu changes and custom made cocktails are never a problem. Let them suprise you by their creativity and enjoy the evening with a cosy ambience and an amazing vibe!

Great place for cocktails! Bartenders were great and knowledgeable. You can tell them what you like and the make something custom made! Otherwise a large selection of cocktails are available on the menu card.

It took some searching, but you will end up at this bar if you follow the house number. Unfortunately, we did not have a reservation. However, the friendly mixologist asked us to come back in 45 minutes. Then he might have room. Three-quarters of an hour of doubt. Forty-five minutes to pick up. However, we had no doubts. We didnt give up. We just made the decision. We went for this award-winning cocktail bar at midnight.We got a seat for two at the bar, besides two elegantly dressed guys. Guys, we befriended that night. However, we did not know that when ordering our first drinks. I went for a glass of champagne. I never drink. I only drink when it is champagne or a very exclusive wine. Usually, you rarely encounter either option except at this bar. My partner went for a cocktail. The order was taken professionally by a smartly dressed mixologist. In no time, we had not only our drinks but also the home-made popcorn. The latter is a welcome addition. In this case, I hardly think it ends with one glass. Tonight this is also the case with us.We started talking to our neighbors. Real Groningers turned out, who came to drink a lot one evening. They got a drink from us. They presented a local cheese platter. We did not pay a fortune for several beverages and conversations: about one hundred euros for a successful evening. It was An evening that we would remember for many years to come. With champagne that tastes better than ever. Cocktails that taste better. And even local cheese that tastes better than anywhere else.

We loved the place, we loved the drinks, we loved the staff! Glad to know this place exists in Groningen! We will definitely go back again and again and again!PS: It would be wise to make reservations beforehand if you are visiting at a Saturday night.

The concept of this place is nice and interesting but it is way too overcrowded and they keep accepting customers even though they can not even provide decent service for the ones who are already present. To wait 35 minutes for a cocktail that is at it’s best mediocre, is for me a waste of time and money.

Wat kan je erover zeggen, hier heen gaan is als een feestje, helemaal als je aan de bar zit. Daar zitten is een complete show, en door het personeel leer je ook nog over verschillende dingen over dranksoorten. Daarnaast zijn de cocktails ook nog eens overheerlijk, beter heb ik ze nog niet gevonden!

You walk past it, but once inside you find yourself in a particularly atmospheric environment where the tastiest (non-alcoholic) cocktails are made with passion and expertise. Upon entering the house we received a water with cucumber flavor. You will be helped in English and a cocktail costs around ten euros.

Great atmosphere and a fantastic menu. These are people who know what they are talking about. You can be surprised by new flavors and original cocktails. After 10 visits I discover something new every time. Must see if you are in Groningen and dont like the poelestraat.

You dont see the bar immediately (windows and door are stuck shut), but that makes it so mysterious.Great cocktails and it is great to sit at the bar watching the bartenders how they make all cocktails. Really a show!It is a small tent with luxury cocktails. No food.

For me, the first good cocktail bar in Groningen. Expect about a dozen per cocktail, but the attention to quality is definitely worth it. Deviating from the menu is never a problem and everything can be prepared or adapted to personal taste. The only disadvantage is that the tent is just too full at times of peak crowds, which does not benefit the atmosphere but also your patience.

High expectations, but to walk in and see only a small living room with a somewhat fancy bar ... the stories and text on the website suggest otherwise. I cant really find the inspiration for peaky Blinders, the colors suggest that there is a band.

Nice tent only had expected something different. More Peaky Blinders dress code. And not just a pub .. also missed that kind of music. Just heard R&B and pop .. I had done something else with it. My friend and Comrade were at least in Peaky Blinders dress code.

A beautiful bar with a nice story and appropriate atmosphere. Bartenders give a nice show when mixing. Again something different in Groningen. Refreshing!

Expensive but tasty cocktails. Good atmosphere but although the service is good you have to wait quite a long time for your drink to make the cocktails.

Best speak-easy in the north of the Netherlands, perhaps the only one in the Netherlands. Perfect hospitality and formidable drinks.
