Im a frequent shopper here and Ive never had a bad experience until today. From the moment I stepped into the store the security guard followed me the whole time I shopped. Literally everywhere I went he was right there behind me making me feel targeted out of the other 10 people in the store. They need to hire better. I dont need to feel like a criminal when I shop.

They have all kinds of make up here. Very friendly and helpful customer service.

Today I used the salon services at ulta. My stylist was Casey. He did an amazing job. I love the way my hair came out. He was professional and nice and Def recommended him for services done.

Went in for a haircut, Shanti cut my hair dry and then washed it. It was uneven and choppy at the ends. Wouldnt go back!!! Would not recommend, the girls at Modesto ULTA hooked me up!! Go to Modesto ulta!! 👍

Casey did my haircut and the whole time it felt rushed so he could make it in time for his lunch with his coworker. The whole time it was as if he were upset and it looked like it pained him to even speak. I paid $90 for this haircut and scalp treatment. 30 minutes in the chair doesn’t feel long enough for all of this? I could be wrong but my hair and scalp looked and felt the same as if I was only given an overpriced hair wash and “style”. First and last time going through this so called “salon”. It was a treat for myself especially with everything going on. Thanks Ulta.

Ultra beauty in manteca is very nice and clean and excellent customer service. I went to 3 different ones but so far the one in manteca ultra beauty is the best. The salon people are very good and friendly. So I highly recommend going to ultra beauty in manteca. Because the one in Stockton is bed .

I got charged 25.00 for something I did not purchased had to go back to the store to get the25.00 credit

I had to return 2 items that I had ordered online. One was the wrong color and the other item didnt perform as expected. The sales manager was very helpful and it was a good experience.

Great place to go shopping.

I highly recommend Casey. He is great at color mixing. If youre unsure of what you want, he will help you pick something you will love. I went on a Friday, and got a trim and my hair dyed. He helped me select two colors, which looked amazing. After washing my hair Saturday, I realized my roots didnt take the color properly. He fixed it instantly. It looks even more amazing now. He also gave my 5 year old, her first haircut. He was amazing with her. She LOVES her big girl haircut, and cannot wait to go back to Casey. It is a very nice atmosphere. All the workers are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

The fabulous sister at the brow bar did an amazing job on my brows. The waxing didnt hurt. She was filled with information and nifty tips. She was amazing and I will only ever let her touch my brows.Everyone else in the store was just as marvelous helping me find brands and even taking the extra step to check for laytex in some lashes I wanted. Everyone is amazing, clearly passionate, and oh so helpful. Best makeup buying experience of my life.

This place is so amazing and helpful! I walked in and was helped right away, it was absolutely amazing! Please understand I wanted to learn how to wing my eyeliner and we spent over 3 hours here trying different products to make sure I had exactly what I needed AND was able to pull it off by myself. This is coming from someone who has never wore makeup on a daily basis. I am so in awe right now with everyone here thank you so much!

Superior customer service. The lady at the register knew it was my birthday based on my phone number and advise me my email address need to go in so that I can claim my birthday gift. She even contacted the manager who overrode something in their system so that she was be able to give me my birthday gift in the store. Im so happy. Also the Cosmetic ladies help my daughter find the perfect shade to her very lights tone skin using It Cosmetics. Everything we asked was clearly and professionally explain to us. Love going here.

It was a good color for hair dying, but poor bleaching. They fried my hair, and now it’s falling every time I brush it. I’m not going here anymore.

I needed to exchange a foundation. The young woman helping me was great. I got the correct color, and couldnt be happier. Brianna was wonderful, handling my return.

Seems like they had more items in stock than the Ulta in Turlock. Looked pretty clean. Store layout is pretty much like all the other stores.

Couldnt find my cologne

I got bangs at the Salon and they were uneven and way to short, I will never go to get my hair done there again. I don’t want to leave my bedroom or go anywhere I look horrible

The people here were so friendly it was refreshing. They had everything I needed. The only down side was they don’t know how to use the A/C, it was so hot in there.

Will not return to Manteca Ulta. I have been to the Manteca Ulta on numerous occasions and at various times of day. Each time I have had very poor service. Either I cant find anyone working to answer questions or they are just rude and unhelpful. Today, the cashier was worried about his credit account on his phone and pretty much ignored me. I was looking for coupons on my phone and he was irritated by me or his account. I pretended to be on my phone longer to see how long he would be on his phone. I could have still been standing there until he resolved his issue on his phone. I get you have personal problems, but take care of them when there are no customers. Im spending a lot of money, you can help me find a coupon or some kind of discount, also.

Deserae is a Skin Care Expert who was able to squeeze me in to get a facial and she was amazing! She was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I was so relaxed by the end of my facial I was ready for bed. My face feels so relaxed and pampered! I enjoyed my experience so much I scheduled another sevice for the following month.

I will never shop at ultra manteca. I am even sorry I gotta waste my breath but I want people to know that the customer service stinks workers dont wanna be bothered and are not friendly at all..This store needs a complete over haul do yourself a favor and shop else where and by the way if I could leave no stars I would..

My wife had her hair colored by Casey. Apparently, its Normal to have her hair dyed brown and turn two different shades of orange. After dealing with the repercussions for several days, I spoke to Maggie regarding a refund. Maggie was courteous and spoke about the chemistry of hair which I do not understand. I appreciated Maggies professionalism and she informed me she would have the manager call me. The whole crux of this place is to get you going there over and over again, costing over $100 each visit. I told Maggie this was never explained and we would not be returning. Due to the extreme damage it caused her hair, I wanted a refund.Follow up: Carissa the manager called my wifes phone and I answered. Carissa refused to discuss the matter with me citing she would only talk to the client. Carissa is extremely rude and constantly talks over you. It was simple, now this has turned into something I am going to pursue in small claims court including emotional duress. If youre looking for a reputable place who stands behind their work, this is not that place and Carissa has a lot to learn about management. Its unfortunate it has come to this.... Carissa wont be manager for long as this is a big corporation and you dont treat people this way.

Some of the staff is not knowledgeable on what they sell or have in stock. I seen an item online and it showed it was on stock one I got there I ask an employee and he said he didn’t know what that was then he asked what I think it was a manager and they straight said that. I wasn’t in stock, ok so I look around and then there it was fully stocked on the bottom shelf. Overall I normally get decent customer service but that time completely disappointed me big time and I hope they fell embarrassed

The aisles were wide for wheelchairs..the staff was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful..one of my favorite places, check out was fast and efficiant...lovin this place :)

The manager was talking to another employee about customers out loud and I heard them talking, me being at the other side of the store-- obviously not professional.I had asked about a brush and the girl that was at the benefit counter but worked for Ulta was helpful. The manager just looked at me weird and I found her to be rude. Not to mention she was also one of the girls talking about the customer.The girl at the cashier was amazing and I wish she would have had help because there was a line. There were two other Ulta employees who basically were just standing around and talking. I didnt get a greeting from anyone, even though I dont mind it but other Ultas are far more professional and friendly.The store is ok, Ive been to better.

The customer service was bad. They thought my little sister was stealing something when she wasnt doing anything. She accidentally put dry shampoo in her jacket pocket because she forgot she was holding her bag. And then two of the workers came up to us and said Where are your parents? And as I was trying to find my mom she said Well, dont put that in your pocket because it looks like your stealing. Like no if I knew my sister was stealing, Id absolutely say something. And also, there were a bunch of little kids running around the store unattended and none of the workers said anything to them. Those kids were annoying and getting in everyone elses way but they didnt say anything about it? Wow. Im never going back there. Thats not how you should treat your clients.
