The Cashier Was Very Polite.I Will Continue To Shop Her At Giant Eagle.

Idk....Ive only ever done grocery shopping in major metropolitan cities and in suburbs a scotch outside of them. Clerks be hitting the scanners with items like they off in 5. Im used to the line just moving. Here, I feel like Im at the train station and my train and the one supposed to have left 6 minutes before I even arrived on the platform, LATE!!!WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG TO CHECK OUT?! Even the self checkout take forever. Imma loose weight. I dont even think about groceries anymore.

The rudest customer service ever. Will never ever go in there again. I ended up getting on the #9 bus and going into Daves Supermarket... Much better service

I guess today is just not a good day for them or their customers? About 6 checkout lines open, literally going all the way to the back of the store, only 1 express checkout open. Customer Service desk will not check out any customers and there were about 5 workers and someone who looked to be a manager were standing in a huddle talking. Even one of the workers said to me this was a shame. I didnt even purchase the 3 items I went there for. I hope things get better because they still have about 4 more hours to be open.

1 of my favorite Giant Eagle stores in the area. Always clean and always stocked with everything I want and need.

Waited in line for a warm lunch for 15 min and they refused to make for chicken when they ran out at 12:20. I wasted my lunch to stand in line. Great way to run a company

The store was dirty, i felt uncomfortable in line seeing underneath the racks of candy bars and magazines. I dont want to bash anyone but the racks has wheels underneath so this indicates that a though cleaning of the store needs to happen at least once every month or two. We are purchasing food here and i shop here often, please dont get offended but you must hear it from someone who cares.

This store Is why I don’t like to grocery shop. They only have 2 lines open and one of them Is 20 items or less. They seem to have more people stocking the store than working the register. Avoid this place at all cost. Super duper slow

Im always at this store and I use the pharmacy and I love there fried chicken

The overall shopping experience is nice. My only complaint is there isnt enough open registers and depending on what time I visit, the self checkout lines are usually closed. This happens at almost every Giant Eagle that I shop at. They have great deals and the staff are always pleasant.

Customer service is great and I had a ready time going through the line.

This store specifically should have a separate checkout line for EBT and food stamps. It’s bad enough that they don’t have a special pantry of items for food stamps.I’ve seen people taking steaks large enough to feed aLion with on EBT. They take shrimp. Hard working tax payers should get a separate line

This location is way better, safer & cleaner then the one located on Warrensville.

The lines are always long.There arent enough cashiers there.You will literally be in line for 20 minutes.

Nice clean store!! Generally I can find what I need. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Store is usually pretty busy, usually clean and the store is fronted pretty well. Check the dates though once in and a while things are outdated. Staff is usually nice but my biggest issue with this store is the size of it. Seems like for how busy they always are they need a bigger store. Can be hard to navigate on some aisles. Again though not a bad store not at all.

Just when I was about to give Giant Eagles a good rating, things changed when I visited this particular Giant Eagle. The cashier was not wearing a mask. I asked her and the reply was: My doctor knows why. Relocating here from SOCAL......There is no excuse for cashiers not wearing a mask, having a shield under the present Pandemic, globally. Also, the products at this particular Giant Eagle store are miniscule compared to the Giant Eagle store on Chagrin Blvd. Im done with this Giant Eagle.

The rudest clerk/cashier I have ever encountered. I went in for a bottle of wine,, the liquor store was open so I ask her if I could check out here she was taking care if another customer.. she ignored me so I thought with the mask she didnt here me so again I ask she said cant you see i was talking care of a customer and you just storm in you wait till Im done. I said I just wanted a yes or no, then another customer came in and and ask a question, she acknowledged him while I was paying but couldnt do the same for me and the rudeness in her voice to me was unbelievable.

The lines are always too long hate going there

Must have been a bad day for them. It seemed they were having issues with the self checkouts. The other lines were long and I was pressed for time with only a few items. I shop Giant Eagle all the time. It is generally a good store. Not my usual location!

Fresh produce, tons of cheese and wine. Good service.

Seems like every time I come here theres maybe 2 lanes open and lines reaching down the aisles. I usually spend more time standing in line than deciding on and making all of my grocery selections. 9/10 Im waiting longer than it takes me to shop.New addition....Customer Service Hangs up on you when you call. Home to some very rude employees.PS please bring back those tasty Pineapple Ancho Chile Pork Rinds offered by most other Giant Eagle stores in the area.

Discovered that the item I needed was on sale!!! I had 3 items and the young man in front of me (with an o overflowing cart) alowed me to go ahead of him!!! Felt blessed and grateful!!

Bakery just saved me $10. I asked if they could write Happy Birthday on the $20 cake and the girl in the bakery said she didn’t know how!!! She said to buy icing on the bakery isle. So I did but bought an $8 cake instead and $3 icing. Lines were very slow; no Express line. They need to remove the 12 items or less sign as it was confusing.

Was in this store location to return some spoiled prepackaged tuna salad, store manager was very rude, told me I had to get the same thing in return, no refund or voucher, and told me.. how do I know you didn’t leave it in the car too long’ I couldn’t believe she said that to me, I’ve been shopping at this location for years, I’m done shopping here, but I told her you’d better remove the spoiled items from the shelves, # manager needs to treat the customer better!!

This is my regular grocery store, know where everything at, and have a variety of options, hot food center. Liquor store, Lottery. Bakery, fresh fish, deli

They never have enough lines open

Counted 4 customers wearing masks and 83 WITHOUT MASKS. Few were following social distancing and nobody was disinfecting the carts. Staff did not seem to care if the customers were safe or acting safely. This place is a breeding ground for the coronavirus. Stay away unless you want to get sick.

Unprofessional .... The shoppers were wearing the under their chin not covering mouth or nose. long lines with no help... Will not be going back its shame because its my neighborhood grocery store.

Its always great going to store its clean you can find what you are looking for the employees are friendly and helpful.

Went here looking for some choices for an engagement party and my own personal taste preference in adult beverages bur had quite a few other choice when I couldnt find mine. The selection from food to state store is vast, even if you cant find what you want there are enough other options to fulfill your needs.

Drove over 22 miles past two other Giant Eagle locations, because these guys had what I wanted

Giant Eagle is the go to store for groceries, and a host of other services to many to mention. They are competitive with other stores and because its part of a huge chain you can pick some great deals in their weekly adds. It has a small pharmacy that gives big pharmacy service and there is one benefit that is super-important to the customers and thats called Fuel Perks when you shop all Giant Eagles. I believe you get ten cents off for every hundred dollars you spend and many folks purchase their huge variety of gift cards and that also counts on your fuel perks. I have witnessed many people drive up to gas station including your truly and paid nothing for a full tank of gas. You must have one of the Giant Eagle Advantage Cards though and all you have to do is ask customer service. It is a Union Store which is important to myself, so employees stay their for years and you end up becoming friendly with staff. I do not believe theres to many stores that can match their prices and the return system is really no-hassle. It also has a bank inside which is handy and they have a State Liquor License and its one nice store within a store to visit, and they truly have everything from beer to three hundred dollar Champagne. I personally do not drink but always visit the state store just because I am dumbfounded by the selection. A good store that provides their employees a decent wage along with hospitalization makes for a happy workforce and really do not see that the prices are inflated because of it being a union shop.

They get two stars only because they had everything I wanted and the cashier was friendly. They lost me because they only had three lanes open:1. Self check for small purchases2. 12 items or less express lane3. Lane for all the rest of us.They need more front end workers. There used to be more self check lanes but they have been removed. My quick trip to the grocery turned into an hour and a half.In all fairness, Ive seen the manager roll up his sleeves and bag groceries the day before a holiday. I think they try but missed the mark today.Oh! One more bright spot...I made new friends while waiting in the check out!!! Maybe I can give them another 1/2 star

I enjoy going there because the food is fresh the price is a little high but the meat is genuinely fresh and kosher and you get good service so I would suggest to go there

Warensville location keep the Express line open for people with smaller items they have to wait longer its not fair

Giant Eagle is my FAVORITE grocery store. I prefer that over any other grocery stores. People be telling me that the store is high. I say so. Its my favorite, an it all depends on if you know how to shop there. GIANT EAGLE NEVER EVER GO AWAY.
