Awesome spot for custard and water ice! The ice cream is thick, sweet, and creamy. It’s a great value. I could barely finish a small gelati. The people working at the window provided fantastic customer service and were so friendly. The only downside is that there’s a small parking lot which is crowded since it’s so good! There’s only three benches out front to sit. Overall, one of the best soft serve spots around! Can’t wait to return.

Awesome place.. it just needs more benches.. (only 3)..also they need speed bumps on the parking area to protect theKids.. cars come in and leave way to fast..

Its some delicious ice cream. We love the mix ins they are very generous with them. Its a bit high in price but reasonable.

OMG! THE BEST ICE CREAM AROUND! I have been going here since 2005 and it is just Fantastic Darling just Fantastic! I love the twist ice cream with extra chocolate sprinkles in a cup and a cone on the side! Damn writing this makes me want some now! My son loves the vanilla twist with rainbow jimmies and lots of cherries, my nieces love the milk shakes and the water ice! Oh Hell this place just makes the sunshine when its raining outside!! They are open year round. Hallelujah! I travel from Williamstown just for the ice cream!

My step daughter ordered a vanilla ice cream with Swedish fish and there were a couple peanut m&ms hidden at the bottom of her cup. She is severely allergic to peanuts and had a horrible reaction. I highly recommend NOT coming here if you or your child has a peanut allergy. Clearly the staff doesn’t care about cross contamination.

Custard - 5 stars... thick, rich, creamy, not overly sweet. Perfection.Cone - 3 stars... the nut chocolate cover isn’t really chocolaty, more like palm-oil-fake-chocolate cover. And the bottom leaks.Appearance - 1 star... I’ve not seen/had a more weird-looking ice cream before.OVERALL - will visit again for the flavorful custard. If you get a cone, ask for a bowl.

Very good service a little annoyed that they dont take Visa or debit cards you have to hit the ATM in the parking lot and get charged $2.25 for using it. But everything else is great just remember to bring cash lol.

Custard stand is a long-running business putting out great ice cream for generations. If youre in the maple shade/Cherry Hill area its worth the stop.

Nothing compares to this place .The watering is great and they have a large varieties of other ice cream treats. I go there even in the Winter.

Parking was very bad. IM a senior 😳🤪with surgery cane and all,a married couple was in front of me,line was very long so they let me go before they and told my daughter to go with me. I thanked them for being so kind. God bless

This is a good establishment that has been around for many years and Im sure it will continue to do well, but I was very disappointed to discover that they no longer carry non-fat soft serve. I will have to take my business elsewhere.

First time going here and I must say, the custard and flurrys were absolutely delicious! So so good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Smooth transaction from start to finish.I would have rated 5/5 but they dont seem to have a mask rule for customers so there were at least four customers being served with no mask. Absolutely unsafe for others....some screening or a mask rule is a MUST

This place is the real deal. Probably hands down the best custard Ive had. The cone in the picture is a large and they mean large. Completely covered in Jimmies and extremely thick delicious mind blowing custard. Treat yourself, treat your kids, and bring the grandparents. I also had a large Mango water ice which was honestly better than the big name guys. It wasnt overly sweet and was a great consistency. I got a medium and shared it with 3 others and there was plenty to go around. Dont mess around with others, it doesnt get much better than this.

I love this place! Everything is great from the sundaes to the non fat custard. Ive been on a diet now for 2 years and the only treat Ive had is the non fat custard and its helped me lose 80 pounds. I can barely tell the difference between it and the regular. The young ladies who serve it are fast and nice.

This place has had a booming business since I was a child. Too bad it doesnt have more parking. Hard to get on and out when busy and some people park in front where people are. Too dangerous. That entrance should be blocked someone is going to get hit by a car

The building and all of the Americana that goes with it is amazing. The ice cream was just ok. I did ask for their signature item, but they didnt seem to know what that would be. Just because a place is old, does not make it the best. This place could fall into that category.

I recently moved to Pittsburgh from Maple Shade. Yet whenever me and the kids are Craving some good custard we make the treck to the Custard stand. It may sound crazy to drive 5 hours for custard but to me and my family it is well worth it. We just find a reasonably priced room at the motel 6 and don’t forget to get some custard for drive home to Pittsburgh in the morning! A well deserved 5 out of 5!

This place knows what consistency can mean to your biz. Open seven days a week till 10PM year round ! What ice cream stand does that????If its ice cream related they do it. From fat free yogurt to extra thick malted shakes. On a nice summer night all three walk-up windows are jamming. Parking can be tight, prices are reasonable and this is legendary landmark spot.

This place is famous. Im not sure why.The price is pretty cheap for how much ice cream you get. It feels like you can eat a ton of it, and then still have so much left over. I always end up going basic with just softserve with some topping, but its really creamy.Cash only. Theres an atm in the parking lot.

Ive been going here since I was a little kid and I love that it has kept its nostalgic classic charm. Anytime Im craving a vanilla soft serve with rainbow Jimmys (not sprinkles) this is the spot. There is always a line no matter a cold spring night or the hottest day of the year. When you see those bold red Drive In letters its hard to resist.

Its about a halfway point for me on my way home from school and its a favorite place to stop. Their custard is really good just in a cone with jimmies, but I usually get a chocolate malt milkshake. Cant go wrong either way. Staff is really friendly and prices are pretty good too!

I will start off by saying that I have been going to maple shade for several years and have been satisfied with the service which is why I go back. But the last two visits (especially today) was very disappointing. I got two flurries with hardening chocolate one clearly had it and the other did not. I asked them to add it and they told me its in there. I went to my car and scooped through and saw nothing so I went back and asked again. The server very rudely said Its in there, we put it in. Not wanting to create a fuss I left and drove home. When I got home I dug in my cup hoping to find it which I didnt.Similar thing happend few days ago when I ordered hardening chocolate and came home to see it wasnt there. To make matters worse the dessert was for a pregnant craving the hardening chocolate.I can understand if this was a one off but a customer repeadtly asking you for something should be reassured politely and helped not questioned as if what they asked was so Ludacris.

Been going here for 25+ year, love it. Not a knock on the place but some of the customers are really dumb: There are three windows and three lines. STOP FORMING ONE GIANT LINE!
