The clerks at check out and other service areas are wonderful. They are always willing to help. The people who bag out are very friendly.

Easy to find what my husband wanted and it took him less then 20 minutes in the store.

Not sure why every time I go in here and I use self checkout that I have an issue with the clerk. I expressed to the clerk that my boyfriend’s ID is expired but I will use my license and pay. The clerk was admit that we both needed to have good id’s. Be wary.

Went in to get my booster shot and they are now requiring appts that must be made online for booster shots. All other vaccines are welcome for walk ins so I got my flu shot today instead and made an appt for my booster online as I waited. Stellar person giving shots, knows what he’s doing. Three family members vaccinated and no one even felt it. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. And the store smells wonderfully of cinnamon and other holiday spices. Yummy!

I dont know what you call this cake? but I had it custom made? with six different types of chocolate.OMGOODNESS,! it was so rich and delicious! I had to drink a big glass of milk with it! HEHEHE.THE LADIES WILL CUSTOM MAKE YOU A CAKE, CUPCAKE, ANY KIND OF GOODY YOU WANT MADE? THEY CAN MAKE IT. ANY WAY YOU WANT IT. THATS WHY I LOVE THE BAKERY.

Maple valley safeway doesnt seem to care if you dont wear a mask, I care my dad and friend died of covid and I have alot of medical problems I thought it was mandated to wear masks.

This is a well kept and stocked Safeway with friendly and usually helpful staff.

Went in at 6 AM Wednesday try to purchase 10 select flavored waters at two for a dollar as advertised would not ring up on register so cashier told me sorry nothing she can do false advertisement She didn’t even bother to get her manager to come over to help the situation she just wanted me to leave to get to her friends/fellow coworkers that one of the purchase behind me

I went here looking for specific items, and the produce representative was awesome! He knew immediately what I was talking about and where! The cashier was also great when google decided to update their Google Pay and I couldnt find what I needed for payment. He was able to suspend my transaction while I got it sorted out, and then the manager immediately came over after I excitedly stated that I figured it out. I was checked out immediately and on my way!

Love this grocery store. They have the best selection of organic produce in town and their premium wines are superb! They also are my go-to place to buy flowers or grab a sweet treats to my childs friends if I dont have time to bake something myself.

This is a good Safeway, but this parking lot is a main hub for homeless and/or junkies. Keep your kids close at all times. On the upside the employees are nice and are great at the 10x10 rule for customer service 🥰

They were out of the cases of pop that were included in the sale. The gal went out of her way to look in the back, then asked manager if I could return 2 of the cases at a later date when they get the type I like back in. It was buy 2 get 3 free. Cant beat Safeways prices and quality of food. Always shop brand name but if I dont, love Safeway brands. ALL the workers their have always been very kind and helpful.

I live in the neighborhood. Been to several Safeways and this one is always clean with a very extensive selection of products. The fruit is very fresh. The perishables are well stocked. And they seemingly have great sales on Rockstar lol.

Great Pharmacy prices with good rx or similar. If youre getting food its about on par with QFC however I mean the super-safeways not the bakery free hole im the wall ones. This is a good one.

Young lady in the deli, brown hair in braids it’s lovely! Extremely patience and extremely helpful even on my bad days where my pregnant wife wanted pizza sticks and only pizza sticks and I’d already been to four stores... I’m so thankful! Give this woman a raise! I wish I had caught her name..

Been a customer since way back when Safeway occupied what is now a big Goodwill store on the other side of the Maple Valley - Black Diamond Road,(Hwy. 169). This has always been the most welcoming store Ive shopped at. When it comes to groceries, I dont think youll find a more complete and balanced place to nourish your family in Western Washington or anywhere for that matter. Thank you to the Management and the dedicated workers. You have all blessed my family.And, Happy Thanksgiving!

My first visit. Clean, well stocked. My only complaint is theyre not as friendly as Fred Meyer. Regardless, I would go back there.

I stood in awe beholding the vast bounty. As I stood I pondered the collective caloric value of the buildings contents. Does this value exceed the energy required to produce and transport said bounty? How could such a thing be sustainable? Defeated, I steered my coil to the libations. There I found my trusty Luna Azul. Best cheap sauce in the sector. I quickly paid and absconded to my edifice to imbibe my tasty hydrocarbons. Plagued by visions of cactus slaughter 2000 miles away, I fell comfortably into a well deserved boozy abyss. The end.

Normally it takes them 10 mins to come to the liquor cabinet to unlock it. However this must have been pointed out cause last 2 times the person got there before i was fully ready. This is nice work on there part

This safeway is clean with an alright produce section. Ny go to Safeway. Though some of the workers there are unpleasant at best.

The pastrami and cheese sandwich in the cooler for $3.49 and a 79 cent Jaritos soda made for an economical lunch along with a $2 bag of organic potato chips that lasted two more lunches.

Safeway has done an amazing job standardizing their locations. So much so that if you have ever been to any Safeway before, you already know exactly what this location is like.

I have shopped at a lot of safeways, its my go to grocery store. The Maple Valley location is by far the friendliest, cleanest and most well stocked Safeway around. It is larger than most other locations and stocked with any grocery you may need. The departments that have service counters like the bakery, deli and floral are staffed by extremely knowledgeable and accommodating employees, this Safeway had my business for life!

Always out of things. And with another Safeway no more than 5 miles away, I always choose the other one than this willy nilly unstocked Safeway. Id blame Covid, but its been like this for the last year or so and steadily getting worse. If I had to choose between maple valley Safeway or covington, Ill choose covington 100 percent of time.

If you need the supplies for a romantic adventure with a loved one and contraception is to be avoided...... this spot can help you out. Went on a run late night for a pal and found some adventurous gifts for him and his lady. The staff was kind and shared a smirk from the purchase, but only mentioned that they cannot take 100 dollar bills late at night for payment. Everyone was pleased from the experience. Would shop here again.

Pretty decent little Safeway

Terrible customer service at the Deli. I was standing in line waiting with one in front and three behind me, but the lady at the counter decided to call upon the three behind me. I was not distracted, she had my full attention. I even politely signaled that Im next. This is the third time this has happened with this particular employee.Shes the older woman at the Deli, working the Monday evening shift.
