Really poor customer service. Woman who answered the phone did not stop talking to listen to what I was asking her. She assumed I was asking about something else and hardly let me get a word in.
Sometimes astoundingly rude, condescending, and incompetent. An earlier rental experience was very positive. Monica was polite and helpful. However, when trying to rent the same item a year later, Monica refused to believe that my insurance covered my rental, even after I read the text of my insurance contract to her clearly stating that it was covered, and still after my insurance company called her and told her it was covered.Monica could not have been more condescending about it, telling me that we were all wrong, apparently basing her opinion on something she had heard or read about changes in Medicare.I was very polite and friendly throughout this process, though it took some effort.Monica acted as if Liberty was doing me a huge favor to allow me to be a customer. She refused to rent to me until I signed a contract agreeing to pay $480 for two-month rental if my insurance didnt cover it. At the time, the exact rental item was for sale brand new on Amazon for $299.When I dropped off the item, I got a copy of the contract I had signed and the amount had changed to $275, so they illegally modified a signed contract, albeit in my favor. My insurance company paid the bulk of the cost, as everyone but Monica knew it would, and I paid the rest of the bill immediately.More than two years later, I received another bill for the same amount I paid earlier. I have little hope that straightening things out will be easy. The sad part is that Liberty has high-quality rental equipment and a better selection than most other rental places in this area.
Worst customer service! Dont go there!!
Awful customer service. I came in for a SAD therapy light box, and was barked at - do you have a prescription? Yes, I do. Im not asked which light box I would like, or if I would even like to look at them. Grumpy Girl rips takes one down and starts ringing it up and demands to see my prescription and insurance card. I ask Do have a larger light box? Because really, the 6x6 wont even work. Look it up. She rolls her eyes and says, yeah, we do, but its $500 bucks. So what, maybe I can afford $500 bucks. And I doubt your insurance will cover the bigger one. Another lady pipes up yeah, wed have to get your doctors notes and read those to be able to do that. Im sorry, what? You want to see my personal information to decide whether or not I can have this light? Wouldnt it be up to my insurance company? She went and got the larger light box. The icing on the cake - upon seeing it I instantly recognized it and guess what - you can buy it brand new on amazon for $159 dollars. Not $500. What a way to just bleed people in need. I will never go there again.
The worst customer service around. The gal there is snippy, judgemental and not the easiest to work with. Did not have dates and facts and gave me incorrect info.
It would be nice if they would put prices on their website.
Stopped there to get a CPAP hose for my husbands mahine after much frustration from their competitor up the block. The woman (I wish I would have gotten her name) was very kind, knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed for his machine and even gave me some good suggestions and information to pass along to my husband. Thank you very much for helping out!
The people here are the best to work with. They are knowledgibleable and truly care about the people they work with.
I went to Liberty after just being prescribed a CPAP machine. I was not happy about needing one of these and extremely nervous about getting and using one. Monica at Liberty did an extraordinary job of putting me at ease and thoroughly explaining the equipment. She made sure after several try-ons that I found the best mask for me. Trisha followed up several times following my receipt of the machine to make sure I was doing good and could ask her any questions. I am a successful CPAP user today and feel that Liberty was instrumental in making that a reality. Thank you Liberty!
Terrible. When I needed a wheelchair for my visiting mother at the last minute, I called ahead to tell them Id be coming just before 2 on a Saturday, the place was empty. I showed up about 15 minutes ahead of time but was having trouble finding the place. I called but nobody picked up despite repeated attempts over then next 15 minutes while I tried to find them. When I finally did find them, the place was of course deserted.Even when I called ahead to tell them Id be there right before 2, they still leave early. Terrible service.
This is the most rude company I have ever delt with.
Thanks
