Very knowledgeable presumably owner, has been doing this for decades. Was very helpful and answered all questions with good suggestions and recommendations. The regulator was free flowing, he swapped out the gear and removed the buddy breather (which was awesome) as we were only in 6-9 ft of water and it wasn’t needed and guaranteed no loss of air, in addition less gear dangling around you. Will definitely be back.
Masks required, warning tape blocking off the store. No Browsing allowed. I was rather rudely asked what I wanted. I said I wanted to look around and was told that was not an option. It is too windy to go out today on the boat so my wife and I had a number of things we were looking to purchase and went to shop. We ended up going a couple of doors down where a gentleman was very polite and helpful. I understand covid has a lot of people afraid but it does not give you the right to treat customers so rude. I found out after that others have had the same experience there.
Super nice, knowledgeable, and good equipment. We will be back!
Great people fair prices
The owner is a super-nice seasoned diver with extensive experience under the surface throughout the Keys. Very fair prices, but the difference is the service. Even if you dont dive, stop in to see the owners museum and works in progress. Wish more dive shops were as genuine as the one this great couple has created.
This is a true mom and pop dive shop. We enjoy coming here to get our tanks filled. Rich and Sue do an excellent job and Rich is extremely knowledgeable about everything.
KIDS ARE NOT**** ALLOWED!They will kick you out as soon as you get to the door.
An older mom and pop shop owned and operated by some Middle Keys veteran divers with over 30 years experience on the reefs. They are not a glitzy shop with all the latest hi tech equipment. But they are VERY knowledgable, take some time and get their advice. Youll make some new friends in the process and help support small business too.
Such great people! Amazing prices and priceless local knowledge
Nice people but lack of products due to small building
We rented tanks here today for our first dive on vacation and will be back all week. The owners are so friendly and took the time to make sure we knew the best places to dive to see everything we want to see :)
Worked there for a while back in 2002 as a divemaster and had a ball. Rich & Sue ran the shop and they had another place up in Lake George NY.
Cheapest scuba rental from Marathon to the north. $50 for two tanks, BCD and regs.
Richard is a great guy
