Nice place but merchandise is TOTALLY OVERPRICED. You can find a lot of the same items at other craft stores for cheaper prices. I suggest downloading the app because once you do, you get a bunch of coupons that can be used in the store, and even with the coupons the merchandise is still over priced. Maybe thats why it was dead inside when I went. The staff was really friendly though. The store was quite nice and large. But good lawd, THOSE PRICES! I am not cheap person, I just dont appreciate getting ripped off.

First time ever in a Joann’s. Was interesting. Store seemed dead. But there was also hardly no employees. Got lost looking for what I needed. Finally when I found someone she mumbled her answer and walked off. ?!?! Idk maybe she was having a bad day.

I was in there with a friend of mine in a wheelchair. The girls there were fantastic. They brought things to us rather than have us go all over the store in the wheelchair. They were also very helpful with yardage and ideas. I will go there from now on for all my fabric and sewing needs.

The cashier told me they dont carry Cold Glaze paint, but I searched the web right away and found it was in stock in that same store. .I then asked to another rep who promptly guided me to the product..Thanks

I was in this location today, I was extremely surprised with the service I received. The cashier Antonella was so helpful and pleasant she made my experience worth the trip from Lauderdale Lakes. I will definitely go back to this location for future purchases.

First time customer asking for location of item, employee point to the direction of the item (which was unclear) instead of escorting customer. Basically floor staff was less than warm and friendly. Not a pleasant first time experience.

Awful customer service at this location.Assistant manager, VALERIE, is rude and tacky. I confronted her for not being helpful while an employee clearly needed assistance and she screamed in my face, totally ignoring professionalism and social distancing guidelines.Ashame that she is a manager and is supposed to set an example for her employees. II have reported her to customer service.

The staff there seem miserable? Especially the ones that have to cut fabric. There are not pleasant its like there are working in a prison. No personality, no happy greetings to make you feel welcome to be in the store. This is a true reflection of management. Joann corporate should step in and teach the staff about good customer service. Or just go to online sales and shut the stores. Its 😥 sad, you get more courtesy online.

I always appreciate the brightness of the store and its cheery displays. The fabrics and choices of are great with fine exception, silk. I guess it doesnt sell well nor is it easy to source. My project leads me to online retailers and I hate this so much. It wont be long until all thats available is delivery from online sales...add not pandemics..Im shaking my head.

The lady from the fabric section is not willing to help you. I asked her what fabric would be good for upholstering some dining chairs and she just pointed at the fabric and said any of the fabrics in the store. And Im new at this but I know thats not true. First time at this store locating and certainly the last.

Very busy 😁 they got great sheets and area rugs.. Good pricing and helpful employees. Next week Im returning for frying pans 🙂

The place seems nice; there was a line outside waiting to get in. There was almost no cars in the parking lot. I dont think that store is so small. Live a lot to be desired.

Jo-Ann Fabrics has a great selection of paint for t-shirts, outdoor wood projects, metal they have sparkle spray which I love. Theyve got a million things for weddings that you can make your own favors. Theyre Christmas ornaments are on sale and they are so unbelievable tons of colors turquoise, red, Blues, tons of colors shiny ornaments unbelievable . It is like a virtual candy store for a crafty person. Enjoy and happy Hanukkah.

This is the first time I visited this Jo-Ann fabrics and they were mediocre busy and the bathroom wasnt very clean and considering that they got the covid-19 going on youd think theyd have a cleaner and getting help with things was almost impossible so I dont think Ill be visiting that one again but you can use your choice but I wasnt my best visit to any Jo-Ann fabrics that was one of my worst.

Always has a great selection of items and great ongoing sales or special discounts. Staff is friendly but they need to have a better system at the register during peak hours or season. Otherwise great place to shop and find great deals. Crafters and sewers paradise! Also has a small but great selection of books to get inspiration or learn from! Overall great store with friendly staff.

Mario took really good care of us. We were shopping for decorations for a wedding. He knew we were on a strict budget so he helped us get exactly what we needed for the price we wanted. I have never had a better customer service experience.

No Entry. After work on Friday evening I rush over to Joann Fabrics just to wait in line for 15 minutes and be told that I would not be let into the store because they were closing. Store hours listed open until 7 p.m. they locked the doors in my face at 6:30 stating the hours have changed theres nothing they can do have a nice day. I had a project I wanted to start and I thought going to a specialty shop was the way to go however being treated like this makes me want to shop at Walmart. That way when Im treated rudely theres a reason. Very disappointed they could not take the last three people in line as a courtesy it would not have taken long hope that was worth them losing a customer.

Always have good products and coupons available in the app.

I don’t know what’s up with that branch their AC is not working for months now! Poor employees. I can’t believe they would let something like that happen in 95 degree sunny Florida. It’s cruel.

I love Joanns I get all my fabric here. But I had a horrible experience the last time I went. I went to the cutting table to get my fabric cut as one does, I was just trying to do some quick mental math and tell her I need to yards she starts to lay out the fabric and I quickly tell her wait I actually need more. I tell her before she even cuts it and I tell her the new measurements and she still cuts the old measurements! I tell her no no stop and she finishes cutting it. I ask again for the new measurements and she says theres not enough left on the bolt for that much. They had no more of the fabric anywhere and she didnt even apologize. After trying to cut more fabric she was very rude and harsh and trying her best to rush and rush. I felt so unwelcome and unwanted. I walked away from the table to try and find new fabric to use for my project. I didnt find anything but I still need the rest of my fabric cut I waited until she left the table and a different women came. She was much nicer. I would not could back to this location.

Beautiful store and so so customer service. They have everything you need for your projects. But prices are way too high. Big discounts highly overpriced items doesnt save you anything.

This is a fun place to go for all your sewing and crafting needs.They have the biggest selection of fabric in the area. Okay, I know this isnt saying a lot, but at least its something. There are sewing machines and accessories and notions.The crafting section has a large variety of supplies for all kinds of crafting projects from bird houses to fabric painting. There are always current seasonal favorites, like gingerbread house kits.The prices are generally reasonable. The best thing is that you are allowed to stack coupons and there are always plenty available, along with different store specials.The big issue here is a lack of sales associates when you need to check out. Ive never been there when we didnt have to wait for an unreasonably long time to check out. This seems to be prevalent with the chain. It doesnt matter which location we go to, its always the same. I even read a review of a location in CA that had the same complaint.If they would make it easier to get in and out, Id probably give it 4 stars, but I get tired of the same issue all the time.

Came to this JoAnn because the location on Federal Highway in Pompano was out of something i needed. To my surprise, this store is about twice the size of the Pompano location. This of course meant that they had more item selection in stock. They also offer custom framing at this location. Staff were helpful. Great store.

No help, Joann. Register or fabric cutting are the only people around. If you can eventually grab one, they start searching aimlessly like I did for 45 min. Other stores are very helpful, this one lost me. Sorry, Joann

The employees are extremely helpful! Yami helped me with my indecisiveness in how much fabric I needed for my project. She took the time to guesstimate with me how much fabric I would need for each part of my project and where I would be able to find the remaining parts within the store. I cant remember the cashiers name, but she was also patient with me and helped me with the JOANN app so I could use the coupons. I got 50% off! Thank you!

Different Joanns today. All of the sale fabric shelves were completely empty. Ive never seen that happen. Late a lot of beautiful Fabrics but I wanted something from the sale table for a special project.

I am shopping for 8 oz fabritac and before coming to the store i checked online to check for in stock availability. The site showed 6 in stock. Turns out I made a wasted trip because they did not have a single bottle in the store. I checked with the clerks who checked all the designated shelf locations. I am very disappointed.

Too expensive go to Michaels

I made a $43 purchase of beads for a necklace I was working on for a client to let him choose the ones he liked and I would just return the rest. Unfortunately, the beads I purchased were not recorded properly on the receipt so I had to take store credit for a much lower price. Im not sure how that happens but I wish there was something that could be done especially since it was an error on the stores part. Ive never had this issue at Micheals.

Store itself is great...a winter wonderland for anyone looking for a creative hole to be filled. Always well stocked with many selections...staff is friendly for the most part save for a few instances where the fabric cutters seemed a little caddy and condescending and not too keen to help an up and coming seamstress like myself. Change your ways old ladies!!

Here you can find pretty much everything you need if you are into art and crafts. there is a huge inventory of fabrics, staff is helpful and friendly. You can get cupons every single day from their app and save on pretty much every purchase.

Customer service is lacking. Store clerks are hard to find and not really helpful. This holds true for both Joann stores in North Broward County (that I visited multiple times each). On a positive note, both stores are clean and stock is well maintained.
