Best place in Atlanta for an FFL transfer. After making a dozen calls where others wanted as much as $90 (and not bothering to call those who stated on their website that they charged a great deal more than that) I found TruPrep and spoke to Rob. He was friendly and very helpful and their fee was much less. As a new gun owner I didnt realize that if I purchased a new-in-box weapon which turned out to be defective I would still have to pay this fee to have a replacement sent back to me from the manufacturer. Thank you Rob!

Went to the 10th anniversary event yesterday and had a really good time. I stayed for the entire shindig.There were some very good deals on ammo and gear as well as some nice raffle prizes.There was plenty of food, drinks and snacks which was good because the place was packed!The staff was attentive and helpful on what had to be a very demanding day.Im glad they were so busy because it is important to support local brick and mortars! Support your local shops folks!Kudos to TruPrep staff for pulling off yesterdays event!

Truprep is a fun store that has a good selection of all kinds. They usually have the best prices on accessories/mags in a retail store. They actually have a decent selection of ammo in the middle of this awful shortage too. Evelyn and company are super helpful and are very knowledgeable when it comes to a wide array of parts. If they got some more high end stuff theyd be able to make some wicked builds, they already know how to build an upper right for a good price.

Been going to this place for years and have had great experiences all around. They always have a good selection of products and typically things you dont find at other places. Staff has always been helpful; Alex and Christian are great in providing direction on purchases, info on products in stock or things to consider buying. Will definitely continue going back.

I enjoy stopping in every once in a while to see what new stock is available. The employees are very nice and welcoming, and are available to help u find what you’re looking for. Store is well organized and clean. Prices are excellent and seem wide selection.

Came her recently for the first time a few days ago to find some parts for my AR-15. Caiden was very knowledgeable and had excellent communication skills in helping me find the parts I needed, as well as recommending some more that would be perfect for my rifle. This was an awesome and quick in-and-out first time experience.

This place is the go to joint for parts and accessories. And everything else from medical gear, to food storage and survival. Not to even mention the good advice and information. Caiden is a superb dude who is willing to help where needed.

Ive always had a great experience with those at the gun counter (Alex and Christian are the best!) and Evilyn at the front counter is endlessly helpful, especially when theres a specific product that youre looking for.For the store itself, it is always great to see what they have in stock, but it would be amazing to see higher quality parts on the shelves! TrePrep would be able to out-class and likely out-sell most of the other shops in the area if they carried products like LMT or Knights.10/10 I will definitely continue going to TruPrep.

First time customer walked in said morning how are you to the young lady up front named Monica, who was very rude and had a nasty attitude. Thank God someone else helped us. Had it been her I would not have even purchased the Gun I went in for. I’m standing there and she was talking like that to other customers as well. Extremely unprofessional. Bryan helped me he was great. Terrible first impression nice little place too bad the energy was terrible and everyone looked bothered.

I go here about once a week and I love it. They have everything you need, from knives to gun stuff to camping gear. Ryan is the absolute goat.

I went to complete a FFL transfer and the staff was friendly and helpful. My kid got to take a look at some cool hummers stored in the back. I picked up some extra mags for stocking stuffers. They had most things in stock except for ammo which seems to be the case everywhere.

It’s seems that the person or people running the Instagram account like to run off loyal customers. I didn’t feel like driving across town if they didn’t have what I needed, I was on Instagram and they made a post. I figured they would answer a simple question like they actually care about their customers, I guess not. I spend money at Truprep almost every week, they lost a loyal customer, GA Firing line is not that far away. To your response, today is 9/3/2020. You guys usually sell out quickly, just because you had something TWO WEEKS ago doesn’t mean you have it now. How am I supposed to know how many questions you gets, I run my business not yours. I will tell them you said hello.

These guys know their stuff. Bought a Canik TP9 and experienced outstanding customer service throughout the buying process. Also bought a second mag, a handgun case, as well as ammo, and continue to return for ammo and to see what their lastest deals are (always seem to be clearance specials 😁). They also have an awesome selection of survival gear...as well as top notch deck/patio fire pits. Have personally seen one in action...theyre AMAZING and pump out blazing hot heat, which is what we all need right now. I return to TruPrep because of their selection, customer support, and the staff. Cant go wrong here. 👌

They do not stand behind the products that they sell and they do not stand behind their return policy.I purchased a brand new Holosun HS510C for $300. It was defective straight out of the box, it hasn’t felt a single ounce of recoil. Two days later, I went to exchange it for the exact same model. Unfortunately, they refused to exchange it and blamed Holosun. They said that I need to initiate a warranty claim with them, which will take days to weeks to get my brand new sight back. They took no responsibility for selling me a $300 defective item.They even told me that “since they now know it’s defective now, they cannot accept it back”. Is that to insinuate if I went in there and lied and said that I didn’t like it, but it was working fine, that you would have given me a full refund?Why make the customer who has many retail options, go through the warranty process on a brand new item that isn’t working. You sold me the defective item, you inconvenienced me and now you refuse to take responsibility. You should take it back and deal with Holosun, not I.Your return policy states “You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.”It’s less than 30 days, it’s unused, it’s in the same broken condition that you sold it to me in, it’s in the original packaging and I have the receipt.At the end of the day, I walked into your store, spent $300 on a item that is advertised as new, and I cannot even use it because it is inoperable. Ridiculously poor business practice!

Really my go to for anything AR related these days. Their Magpul selection is vast. I would love it if they kept more AK accessories in stock, but thats mostly wishful thinking. Plenty of cool survival gear too.

This has been a good store for survival and prepping for years, but the merger with The Preppers Vault has made it the best Preppers and outdoors store in Georgia. They have everything from meal rations, a library of survival books, training classes that are often free to attend, guns and a ton of AR parts. They have an entire room full of Ammo cans. Located just a mile or so off of i75, cant beat it.

Husband and I went in to “look around” and of course he found something he loved. It was a quick process and we were out of there in less than an hour after he was asking questions about the firearm he was interested in. They have a lot of sales and no pressure at all from the employees to buy what they want you to. I give 5 stars because we after we left, the employee who helped us check out realized he over charged us and gave us a call. He apologized and refunded our account right away. That was awesome!

It’s a really cool store with all kinds of cool stuff, but unfortunately we will not be going back because we were followed around the store like we were criminals. We were dressed appropriately and acted appropriately but we were judged like criminals. Not my kind of place to do business.

First entered this store in early 2013. They always have an interesting selection of gear, gadgets, and food. I am not a fan of online shopping so having things I want on hand is what will bring me back time after time.Recently my wife got on to me about my ways of preparing for emergencies. I happened to walk in to your store this past weekend and you had two introductory classes.(Free of charge no less.) Best part was she took it all in and understands kind of what I have been doing before we met.Hope to come to some more classes in the future. Keep up the great work.(I am also happy with the merger. Saves me stopping twice. I know they are hard on staff. But you all have made it look seamless.)

Best place for FFL Transfers. They process your gun quickly and use computerized application to speed along the process. They also have a bunch of great resources and supplies for all your preparation needs. This is a Veteran friendly location!! Recommend you check them out.

Called the store last minute and the guys were very helpful. Told me to bring in my upper and they were able to remove a badly stuck barrel nut. Couldn’t of been nicer on a Saturday evening before close. They could’ve easily brushed me off but instead they took the time to help me complete my build. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for help or anything related to firearms and accessories. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

If you want to just spend a few dollars on gun parts or your spending several hundred dollars on gun parts the guys here are very knowledgeable and willing to help in anyway, there has been a time or two they have went out of there way to help me complete my build and great prices.

Love this place. Just recently began engaging in the disaster preparedness preparation scene that has been growing in popularity. The Preppers Vault has everything one might need to be ready for any scenario. I had high Hopes for this place. I went in when they first opened. Had a blast. But my last trip was pathetic. I am new to AR platform so when i tried asking questions they acted like I was disturbing there lunch. This of course was after they ignored I was even there for 20 or so minutes. I took my father with me, was his first time, and last. I didnt mind paying there rather high prices to support a local company. But I expected better customer service.

Great Staff, nice selection of products. They have recently expanded their retail side of firearms and ammo, so thats pretty cool. The price of their merchandise is competitive with on line prices. TruPrep has the best AR Small Parts stock in Atlanta. If you need some spare springs, detents, or even a complete lower parts kit, they have dozens of each available for less money that you can order one. They also have a huge supply of uppers, handguards, optics, and barrels to choose from. Their prices are very fair and they are usually well stocked with great deals.

I had previous experience at the Kennesaw location before the merge of the two stores. Everyone was great helped me pick out a new backpack that I couldnt be happier with, and prices on the bags were in line with what I found online. I went out to the new store the other day and Im impressed. Theres a large selection, same helpful people, and they sells guns. Its a one stop shop. Check them out if youre in the area!

Let me be clear. The purpose that this store serves is great! But the people who they intend to sell their items to arent supposed to be Black and that clearly showed when I went inside. In my opinion since the owner and his other staff dont like or approve of black folks then we need not spend our money there. I hope this is clear for those its intended for.

The staff was friendly and more than helpful. It had more of a family feel my second trip. I wasnt hovered over while I shopped and found most of what I needed. I must have caught them on an off day my first visit! If youre in the area, give them a go!FIRST REVIEW: I probably wont go back. Its a neat store with a pretty good selection of prepper goods and firearm parts. Upon walking in I spoke with the front of the store employees who seemed friendly enough at first. I let them know that it was my first time stopping in, and that Ive heard very good things. After about 5 minutes of just leisurely walking around and checking things out one of the employees started to follow my friend an I around. They were trying to be discrete, but anyone who has worked retail knows exactly what was going on. They were always 10 steps behind us. It was really freaking weird. We were dressed in business casual cloths with our company logo on them and in a giant limited Edition F-150 with our company logo all over it. If we were thieves, wed been terrible at it. Had they just offered to help while we were looking around, or given a friendly hey can I help you find something it wouldnt have been so bad. But, they made it really freaking awkward which was disappointing. Id rather overpay at Governors Gun Club in Kennesaw, or Cabelas in Acworth-- or just shop at Primary Arms online which is what Ill likely keep doing. Like I said, neat place but an awkward experience overall.

Staff here is the very definition of unprofessional. Walked in to see what the store had to offer. As we enter the front door we are greeted by a employee (guessing) not with hello or welcome but the words you have ten minutes. I said excuse me, and he just pulls out his phone and walks away. Behind the counter I see two other employees watching a video on their phone. Needless to say turned around and walked out, can’t stand a business that is more concerned with closing then helping a guest.

Very knowledgeable staff willing to help with just about any question that you could possibly have. Selection is great and very competitively priced, especially relative to the REI around the corner. I love supporting smaller local businesses whenever possible, so this place is great!

Staff was cool. They made my free ffl transfer super easy and I even baught a few extra things because of their wide selection.

Bought a 300 black out, after completed 1485.00 great build though it would not extract. After returning 3 times I got a second opinion on the problem. Wes got extremely upset when I told him where the other information came from. As I left I bought another box of 20 rounfs and when asked if they could discount the box, Wes responded, Im not giving him anything. Since I do not live close and its a 65 miles round trip, if youre going to get upset, then sell something that works the 1st time around. After final repair of outside advise, it shoots like a dream. Thanks guys.
