Just love this place, the coffee, and especially Hassan, who always takes extra special care of our entire family. In fact, if you are game, Hassan will be glad to craft your special brew to match your aura. Sounds a bit funny, but the results have been amazing! Just had the very best cold brew with extra expresso shot Ive ever had!

What an amazing little coffee shop in our little neighborhood. The owner was simply the most friendliest person I’ve ever met and really enjoyed the brew there. Will make this part of my morning ritual. Added a classic mini for that Friday “Italian” flare.

Fortunately the coffee is delicious & the preparation is excellent because I was pretty convinced I would still make it a point to pop in just to say hello to the lovely human being who owns & operates Mzizi. Hussane, greeted us with a smile that lights up a room & patiently walked us through the menu. Ever wonder what the difference is between a cortado & breve? Go talk to Hussane! The space is comfortable. The wifi is free. Pastries are available & the brew is rich & smooth. Highly recommend this neighborhood coffee shop over any of the corporate establishments nearby!

On my way to Starbucks, I drove past Mzizi and decided to stop and check it out. Amazing! The man who assisted me (I assume the owner) was kind and helpful. The environment has that relaxed coffee shop feel. Then I got back into my car and tried the coffee and it was great! I got the Razzle Dazzle and it is delicious. I wont be going to Starbucks again if Mzizi is an option instead. I would much rather support a small, local business, especially when it is this good!

My wife and I came in last week and loved it! The coffee (we both got iced vanilla cold brew) was great! We were able to spend a few minutes talking to the owner who couldnt have been nicer. Its so encouraging to see a locally-owned coffee shop in the area doing well. Go check out Mzizi for some great coffee and a cool atmosphere.

I absolutely love this coffee place! Me and two of my good friends from High School love to go there to hang out and talk. Chilly Mzizi is my favorite in any of the flavors although I tend to go for original or chocolate!

This is the BEST coffee shop! I was visiting here from out of town looking for good coffee in the area, and I am SO thankful to have found this place! The coffee is amazing, the atmosphere is so cute, and the owner, Hassane, was so kind, warm, and welcoming. Excellent customer service, the matcha latte was well done and the coffee had a good flavor. A very nice environment with a few games scattered around. I checked out Mzizi when they first opened, but hadnt returned untill this past week.First of all, the staff is so friendly and wonderful with offering suggestions and answering questions.Second, I have to say Im so impressed with how far they have come in a short period of time. It seems like they are constantly looking to improve; when theyre already great! Sure sign of a well run business.The seating and menu has expanded. Thoroughly impressed with this cute little coffee shop! East Cobb has needed this for awhile.

Cute little place, but a little pricey and the muffin I had was dry. I do wish them well, but it may be hard competing with other coffee spots.

Reasonable selection of drinks, but there was a variety of syrups some of which Id never heard of.Barista made the drinks very well and the service was friendly. If Im back in the area Ill definitely drop in to check it out again.

I have worked in coffee shops for awhile now and I am always looking for interesting places with good atmosphere and good product. Mzizi Coffee Roaster delivers on that and then some. The space is cozy and inviting and they brew Batdorf and Bronson so you know the beans are very fresh as they don’t have to travel far. The owner is an incredibly warm person and you can feel his passion to make every experience enjoyable.

Really like this place. Went there once to have a iced coffee and enjoyed the quaint interior. This morning however, I went there at 7:30am to find the door locked and open sign off with no explanation. It says they open at 6:30am. For a coffee shop being open in the mornings is kind of par for the course.

Mzizi coffee is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Hassan the owner has created a comfortable and welcoming environment and the coffee is delicious too. House made muffins are often available and soon other food item will also be offered. Both inside and outside tables are available.

Dropped by for the first time on a Friday around 8:40 AM. I walked in with another customer right behind me. No one was there. We knocked on the employee only door, checked the bathrooms, nothing. So we both left with no coffee, having wasted out time for stopping.

Very disappointed. I am always on the look out for small, independent coffee shops as I prefer them over the big chain stores whenever possible. So I was super excited about Mzizi. However, it didn’t come close to delivering.I asked for an iced chai (my favorite) and they used the weak Tazo box you can get at the grocery store for $3 and just added milk. It made a very weak drink that then cost me over $6. Then, they had no pastries, even though it was Friday afternoon, and even though the reviews rave about their almond covered pastries. Lastly, the place was dirty, with the bathroom in particular being filthy (stained toilet, trash on the ground, dirty sink).I had very high hopes but I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Walked in, barista was outside talking on his phone. While I was placing my order someone behind me complained because they had never gotten their order because he was on his phone and forgot. After I finally got my iced coffee I was very disappointed. No flavor at all. Waste of time and money.

Worst cold brew coffee ever! The one guy in the shop was not real helpful either. Not planning a return visit anytime soon.
