So much to say. I wish more restaurants were like this. You can tell they put care and pride into the food. It’s absolutely fresh and delicious.If I lived an hour from here, it would be worth the drive. Fortunately I live close.I was ready to give this 5 stars before I even began eating. You just know it’s gonna be good based on appearance and potion size.Menu options are plentiful. Can’t wait to come back periodically and try everything.We had the pork chops, Gouda burger and cracked pepper chicken sandwich. The sides are great, too.Service is professional and welcoming and prices are spot on: worth every penny.
West Cobb Diner. This restaurant never disappoints. Ive moved through most of the menu entrées and must say Ive always found everything to be fresh and delicious. The fried green tomatoes are my favorite appetizers. While the country fried steak with white gravy has always been my go to, this trip I decided to have their spicy chicken sandwich and was amazed! Try any of their delicious sides and youll be happy you did.. Also a great draft beer selection including Reformation, Cadence and Jude... Happy Happy Happy..
Always a great place for any meal. Parking is not the best, and usually crowded. I would go at 11:30AM for best parking. Grouper sandwich is really good. Service is efficient and quick. Food arrives hot and quickly. This restaurant has always delivered great food and been in business quit sometime. I would also suggest the vegetables only. All choices are great.
There are so many great dishes to choose from at WCD! I crave their veggie plate at least once a week - fried okra, smashed sweet potatoes and black eyed peas are favorites. The sirloin salad (I like to substitute fried chicken) with Honey Mustard dressing is amazing!! Dishes are large enough to share.
I love this place. Good food, friendly, and pleasant atmosphere. Not always a fan of whats on TV, but meh, I am not there to watch a show.
Today was my first time and we had server Marco. He was awesome. He made great menu recommendations . The mango habanero wings were great. They were big. Also had the chicken fried chick, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and greens. They give you good portions for the price. You will leave this place full. We will be back.

First, lets get this out of the way...this place is great. The food is amazing, atmosphere is comfortable, and we felt welcomed at all times. Their Cuban sandwich was better than my own, and large enough to take half home. The grouper was tender and juicy, very flavorful. Now, regarding our server, Graham...FANTASTIC! He was attentive throughout, inventive with his responses, and always kept us abreast of the progress of our order. Since our party was meeting again after 50+ years apart, we had lots to discuss, yet Graham never made us feel rushed, even though we were there for 3-1/2 hours. Hope he can put the extra tips to good use, but he certainly deserves a raise. People like Graham put a business on the map.
When youre in the mood for heavy, the savory flavor options here are great. The takeout situation is seamless and the staff is friendly. Some favorites are the chicken fried chicken and okra.

The best southern comfort food around! The sirloin salad is crave worthy! Best bleu cheese dressing ever! Always friendly and always tasty and daily specials as well to the favourite menu. Highly recommend!
My husband and I had the party melt special, and it was amazing! Very large portion, we could have shared, but didnt. I had sweet potato fries, which were good, then I realized they gave me Blu cheese dressing to dip them in.. I loved it! If you like Blu cheese dressing, their is outstanding!! Good service, great food! Its becoming a weekly habit👍
I’ve heard great things about this restaurant. It was good, but it wasn’t incredible and it wasn’t what it was hyped up to be. It wouldn’t be my first choice and we likely won’t go back. It wasn’t bad, by any means, but there were 7 of us and none of us were impressed by what we ordered. In my opinion, it’s overpriced for the average-tasting food served. I try new restaurants all of the time to write reviews on, and this one just didn’t do anything for me, anyone in my party, or our taste buds.
This was the first time me and my girlfriend ate here and let me tell you it was amazing from top to bottom. The food was outstanding and our server MARCO G was the best he gave us the truth on what was good on the menu which was everything lol. I really appreciated his honesty, kindness, and knowledge of his job. We will definitely be back very soon!!!

As always the food is delicious! Big portions. I have tried several things and always soooo good. My only complaint would be the cleaniness of the property. Windows are terrible and patio seems to never have a good cleaning. Always the same.
Dinner selection was phenomenal, but service put it over the edge. If I could give 100 stars I would. You could see how busy they were but every employee was smiling, pleasant, and helpful. Even hearing side conversations between the hosts you could tell they genuinely enjoyed themselves there, which is so nice to see. As a former restaurant manager its so few and far between where you see employees so happy to be at a place and having a good time during this pandemic. Im so happy we got taken here for dinner, and will definitely be back when we are in town next! Yall rock.
Use to be the best place in West Cobb to eat it in just a matter of a few weeks the prices sky rocketed. Some even rising by 50 percent. They no longer have my business.
The food was great, the service was good but slow. To be fair we did go at peak hours at lunch time so they were very busy.But back to the food the food was hot when it arrived to the table, The portion sizes were large and it was very very tasty.We didnt order anything special so I cant say anything about customization but with this being a diner Im sure that they would accommodate you.I definitely recommend this place.
Starts with great staff, very attentive and friendly. Sandwiches were excellent WCD Burger and Pepper and Thyme Chicken sandwich were both great. Corn casserole made a nice side. Too full to talk about deserts but they sounded good.

9 of us celebrated a friends birthday this evening at the Westside Diner. The food was just OK but the service was horrible! The waiter had difficulty remembering whose order he had just taken and then had to be reminded to take the orders for the other folks. He thought everything was funny. Our group likes to have fun and we joked around with him at the beginning but then the service took another dive. He brought out the first 5 dinners and the next 4 people waited 15 minutes to receive the next batch of food, however he was still missing a dinner. He apparently forgot to turn the order in for fish/chips/slaw as this should have been an easy one to make on the fly. This order took another 20 minutes to arrive and the rest of the party was through eating. To add insult to injury after he set this last dish on the table he asked if everyone was ready for their checks. He continued to joke around as if this was funny, totally not understanding just how annoying his humor and service had become.To better understand our group, most of us have worked in the restaurant business at some point and are very understanding of the organizational skills needed to be a decent server in this business. Jett’s lack of training and manners is just plain unacceptable. It’s one thing to make mistakes but a whole different ballgame to shrug off the mistakes and think it’s funny. A manager never came by the table to apologize, as a matter of fact I don’t even remember seeing a manager. Won’t be going back.
Many interesting things on the menu. Ive never had fried green tomatoes with shrimp before. They were pretty nice! The lamb burger was my favorite part of my meal. The service was nice.
The food is decent, but the place is a bit dirty. The server forgot some stuff a few times too. All in all, definitely not a bad place. Just be careful if you have a sensitive stomach. This stuff is GREASY

I love the West Cobb Diner and South Cobb Diner. Their food is excellent. Only this occasion today I felt very uncomfortable. After CDC warning came out that the coronavirus can spread like aerosol more than 6 feet. There was not one semblance of social distancing at all. They just let people in with no masks in droves. The table was also filthy after wiping it twice with sanitizer wipes. See photos. West Cobb Diner, I love you but you got to get your act together. Covid-19 is very serious and deadly and theyre acting like its just a regular Day in 2018. Now that Georgia makes it enter at your own risk pretty much Im seeing the notices on a lot more restaurants now. Whether you see the sign or not the Georgia law still stands . So people please be careful.
Ive been greeted by the staff at West Cobb diner on several occasions and every experience has been pleasant both dine in and takeout... thanks Duntefor the recommendation my daughter and I really enjoyed the outdoor ambiance!!!
The food is delicious and the amount you receive for the price is astonishing. The menu ranges from burgers and salads to salmon and steak. Each burger or sandwich comes with one side and the meals with 2. For $1.00, you can substitute a side salad and it is a meal within itself, with everything from real Bacon, eggs, cucumber, cheese, etc. I tried the Jalapeno Ranch and its delicious. You can actually buy one meal and split it, but its so good, Ill just bring my leftovers home. I highly suggest giving this Dinner a visit. The employees are very friendly and accommodating.

Their Homemade Tomato pie is sooo good. Tons of cheese and tomato. If you get the whole pie vs. a piece it may take a while since they make it from scratch. It can feed several people (2 of us shared it and took some home).
This place was fantastic. We are traveling and I wanted to take my wife to have some real southern cooking. We had heard of this place through some friends. It did not disappoint and left nothing to be desired.

I visited here for the first time today. Its a small, quaint restaurant with a twist on southern-style food. A couple of TVs are in the bar area, and the restaurant offers booths, as well as low top tables. The service was average, their country fried steak was huge, and the key-lime pie was great. The only complaint I have, is that their mashed potatoes have no flavor. The only reason I gave a 3 star review is because nothing really wow-ed me. Maybe next time Im back in the area, Ill give West Cobb Diner another shot.
Good service, but honestly, the food at this place used to be better. My stomach hurt after leaving, which didnt used to happen. My fries and main meal were a little lukewarm.

It wasnt about the food for me. The TO GO service was was unbelievably upsetting and disappointing. I ordered over the phone and when I arrived I followed the sign on the door that said for To Go customers. Upon entering there were people everywhere waiting for a dine in table. No employee in sight. When I did spot a waiter, I ask where do you go to pick up to go orders....he said....over there and literally walked away. He didnt point nor direct. So I ask a woman walking with her to go bag.. she said oh are you Beverly? Your food is on the middle table. This was not an employee. But a fellow To Go customer. I was so upset my food was left on a public table for any and everyone to be exposed too... in the middle of a pandemic. I grabbed my bag....looking for someone in which I could pay....no one came....minutes roll by and I finally ask a girl walking by if she worked there. She rung up my order and I left. Again, it was not about the food. The lack of staff, order, and direction plus my food being left on a public table....yeah....Ill never visit this place again.
Our very young male server got so many parts of our order wrong it was hard to keep track. We had to ask for cocktail sauce three times, he brought unsweet tea instead of sweet, he wrote down the wrong chicken dinner (even though the one we ordered was supposedly his favorite dish). Instead of apologizing and trying to make up for the poor service he avoided us like the plague.The catfish dinner portion of fish was very small, and the marinated onions in crispy chicken dinner salad were so strong!There was no discount offered for the servers error in submitting the wrong dish on the ticket, and we asked to speak to the manager but no one ever came.We will not be returning anytime soon. It was embarrassing that we decided to try this restaurant while we were hosting out of town guests.

It was okay. I ordered the almond encrusted trout with a side of asparagus. The meal was supposed to have a hollandaise sauce but I was brought butter instead to top the dish. Wasnt that great but Im sure other dishes are better. I should have tried the spicy chicken club instead.

I had a great experience! Our food came out within 10 minutes of us ordering and it was delicious!! Definitely save room for the banana pudding because it was 10/10. I had Marco as my server and he was wonderful and is very enthusiastic too! I will most definitely be going back in the future!

Nowhere near what it used to be. We used to eat here ALL. THE. TIME. It was our favorite--everything was clearly made from scratch by talented chefs and the prices were unbelievable. Since the ownership change, this place has steadily gone downhill. Prices are way up, which I could have lived with, but the quality of the food and service has gone way down at the same time. We have periodically tried to go back, hoping they would figure it out, but today was my last attempt to salvage my relationship with WCD. Smoked chicken quesadillas used to be amazing, now they taste like fast food chicken marinated in liquid smoke. This is a really sad story about what happens when someone who lovingly built a restaurant sells to someone who just wants to make money.
This is yet another restaurant that treats mobile orders as a lower priority than in house orders. At least that is what it seems like when I receive my order 19 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and 44 minutes after the order was placed (and received) by the restaurant. Thats waaay too long for a two-dinner order.
I mean wow. Not sure how we ever missed this place. Went there on a Friday and was back for more Saturday. Service was beyond any thing we expected. The food again wow just wow. This will always be a place I proudly point out to others. If you havent been you owe it to yourself to have a great meal.
Super glad I seen the sign as its tucked away nicley behind a walgreens. Its not your typical diner food with wraps and breakfast served all day but they offer a diffrent menu like blt with fried green tomato on a cibata or fried shrimp baskets with the best mac and cheese or cheese grits youll ever eat. I had the best spinach and articoke dip with warm pita, definitely a must try.. I ate it before i snapped a pic. The dip was not runny like i find at some places. Service was great all very nice people I have seen. They have a bar serving beer and wine and even the tables fresh flowers. Please also, check out their desert menu. I will definitely be back here!

The food... awesome. The lobster sauce is great. I got the ribeye for $17 you see in the to go box and couldnt eat it all. My bf got the blackened trout and scallops. They were both great with good portions. Im so full. Definitely worth it. Surprisingly not bland food. I came on Sat the 2nd at about 2pm and they serve lunch price menu.
Ive been eating at West Cobb Diner for a little over 8 years now. The food has always been great. Large portion sizes, affordable prices, many options, and great customer service. A must try restaurant, if youve never been!
I have been waiting the longest to come here, and the wait was definitely worth while. Went during a busy time, so the long wait time for my food was expected, but oh boy it was enjoyed. Had the catfish poboy with crawfish etouffee as a side with seafood dip as the appetizer. The flavor of the dip was subpar for my liking and truly southern tastebuds. My etouffee side was also overbearing with cayenne pepper and was barely able to get it down, not to mention it tasted as if it was prepared with entirely too much tomatoe paste. But when I tell you that poboy was hitting!!!! That alone made up for the other slight disappointment of the dip and etouffee and got the 5 star rating. I will definitely be back soon to try some other dishes that i noticed I may be interested in, and hopefully I can potentially become a regular. Great service btw!

Did not go in. Internet said it was Kosher but the waitress said it was not! I hate false advertising,....such a waste of time! Was so disappointed!
Good home cooking but a little pricey. The veggies are delicious and cooked the southern way. Not necessarily good for you but oh so scrumptious. The squash casserole and blue cheese coleslaw is to die for. Then there are desserts... It gets very crowded from 11 to 1 and you will have a 10 to 30 minute wait but if you can go a little later theres usually no wait.
I only went to this restaurant once so I may go back to hopefully a better experience. We called ahead and told them that we were a party of 10, the girl on the phone said it would be about a 30 min wait. I left to get the table ahead of my party and we had a good 45 min wait. We finally got seated and the waitress didnt approach us for about 10 mins. We gave her our whole order, food and drinks, and she left. She brought our drinks out and shortly after our appetizer. 45 mins passes and nothing. No food or even someone telling us that there was a delay. My husband had to flag down a waitress. She told him the food would be out shortly and that they were short staffed in the kitchen. He sat back down and we waited. The waitress approached the table and said one of the kids meals was ready if we wanted it to come out. We declined because we didnt know how long it had been at the window. Also that left 9 people without dinner. We waited for over an hour for our food (that never showed up) and finally we left. The waitress offered to box up the food but, at that point half of it had been sitting. It was a shame because the food that passed us by looked good. I hope that they get more kitchen staff because it seemed like a nice place.
Never ever had a bad meal here or bad service!!! Our server tonight...mr Kington was on point. Party of 12 with separate checks split different ways snd he didnt miss a beat. Food served promptly and piping hot and DE-licious!!!! Glasses never empty too! Everyone friendly and smiling. Wasnt crazy about the outdoor entertainment because we wanted to be able to hear each other talk. He plays a good guitar though. But all in all a great place to eat in or have take out. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!

Loved the opportunity to eat outdoor. Was nice seating for strip mall restaurant. For some reason the Ambiance matters to me. Next, the menu offered nice variety. My friend opted for the Salamon... not only was it cooked beautifully, it also was tasty AND enough for 1 more meal. I was visiting Atlanta, so the veggie plate was fantastic for me not to mention very very yummy. I ordered the Butter beans and received a bowl of something I hadnt seen before... when I asked they said it was Speckled Butter beans. They were by far the tastiest beans I ever had.... better than Great Grannys and that is truly worth mentioning.

First time visiting and totally enjoyed my meal. My server, however, was a different story. He totally caused my dining experience to be ruined. Although he was going overboard with the jokes early on, I didnt think much of it. But my friend requested a side of white gravy. Not once, but twice. After the first time, Oh, I didnt bring it because I didnt want you to have to pay extra. What??!! When we finally got his attention again, I asked for the gravy once more. He nonchalantly responded, Oh, I forgot. I was busy doing something else. - as if it were funny and acceptable. We could clearly see what he was doing. His behavior had become rude at that point and it just got worse after that. Off he went to rejoin the group of employees he was busy with.Because I was ready to leave, I stood up hoping to get his attention once again so we could pay for our meals. He finally comes over and says, I guess you are ready to go? You need to learn how to act. I couldnt believe what I was hearing! I told him I was ready to go and he is the one who needs to learn how to act.Because my dining experience was a total disappointment at this point, I stepped outside while my friend finished paying the check. When she got outside, she said the server ask if I went outside and she responded yes. He then said, I should go outside and make her mad some more. Totally unacceptable.Humor and lightheartedness are great in their places. When serving customers, however, one has to be mature enough to know when to shut the playing and joking off and be serious - especially if you are not doing what is asked of you. Cant say I will be returning.

Today was not my first visit but it will probably be my last. We came for an early dinner around 4:30 and the restaurant was not busy. We were seated promptly but a waiter never came to our table. Several servers walked by us multiple times but never even looked our way. After sitting 20 minutes we decided to leave and mentioned to the hostess as we were leaving that nobody came to our table. She just laughed as if it was a funny joke.
Clean and friendly staff. The food was less to be desired.
