Got my son dive certified there, Robert W. is a great instructor and the staff was great. Now that June and Daniel are no longer there, the new management will not honor the buy back credit towards new gear for my son. Part of the decision to purchase there was because I would receive a credit towards new gear when he outgrows the old. That is NO longer the case.Update to my post, they called me back about a week later and informed me that they will honor the buy-back on his wetsuit towards a new one. I brought the stars up and am happy to hear that. Their dive instructor Robert, again, was amazing and I plan on getting more certifications through them in the future.

New mgmt means this place is much better. New staff is so nice and they are getting things organized. The store has everything or they can order what you need. Dive lessons for the kids were great and the pool and classroom were very clean.

I go every week to do Freedive training and this is a great pool as it allows for shallow water work be the dive well is deep enough to do a full entrance. Oh, and the people are the bomb.

Mark was an amazing instructor. Super nice, informative and charismatic. You can tell he’s passionate and is very helpful. I will definitely be returning. If you ever get a chance to take lessons, please book with Mark. He’s great. 5/5

A great shop for scuba diving supplies! Also the staff there is very nice. Added on to that, at this “Dive Shop” you are able to try classes ranging from open water diving to wreck diving. Last but not least, the prices are good and the staff try’s to inform a costumer more than could be imagined.

We took a dive experience class and we plan to become certified this year. such a great experience, we were really impressed with the instructor Robert as well as the staff June and Daniel. they were courteous and fun and very knowledgeable. we will be getting outta gear and certification from these guys for sure. really truly excellent customer service and fun instruction. Professional, knowledgeable, and personal: If you are looking for a dive shop with these qualities please stop by the Dive Shop at 2714 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, 30066. Great store with top of the line equipment, a spacious classroom and a large, deep training pool. But the best part is the staff. Chris is very friendly and laid back. No high-pressure sales, just personal, experienced, enthusiastic service. I was very comfortable working with him. And then there is June. She is awesome – passionate, accomplished, and entertaining. She wants her customers to succeed, and she will do what is necessary to make that happen. Awesome training program. I wish I knew about her before I got my open water certification. Fortunately, she offers advanced classes where I can enhance my diving skills. This shop has the customer service that I look for in a retail environment, but very rarely find. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Havent been on a dive in a while and I needed a re-cert class to go on a group dive trip. All my training to this point has been PADI, but this shop went above and beyond to conduct an SSI Scuba Skills Refresher course for me -- which would satisfy the requirement -- and did a great job with the training too. In addition, and despite the fact I havent been on a dive recently, I still have had my gear serviced there. Theyve done it two years in a row and do a good job at a reasonable price.

Our kids take swim lessons at The Dive Shop. We have always been very pleased with the staff and our our kids progress. They are a team of great instructors and very accommodating with our needs. We also have been very pleased with our experiences and purchases in the shop. Overall, its a great place to learn about and purchase gear!

I cant say enough great things about June and Michael. They are so friendly and encouraging. I never thought I could learn to dive but with June in my cheering section and Alfredo as my instructor Im well on my way to open waters! I highly recommend this dive shop to anyone who ever concidered diving. Even if you have a natural fear of water, as I do, they will help you through and you will always feel comfortable and safe.

I went to this place pretty excited. Soon after entering the store I was greeted by happy smiling faces. The lady there was busy but took a few minutes to help find a couple wetsuits to try on. After trying them on none of them worked. I asked the guy behind the counter who was left to help me for some other options. He was very short and not at all interested in helping. He was interested in helping the lady who came in well after me. After patiently waiting on him he rudly snapped at me he wasnt trying to ignore me and that they just couldnt help me. Judging from the other reviews I might have caught them on a bad day but a bad day is no excuse to just ignore and disrespect their customers. I will never go back here again.

Seriously! This guy is genial. I ask for straps for my knife and he did want that I pay. Just that I have a good trip!! Thank you again 😄

If you go to this dive shop you better hang on to your purse, Michael there will try to sell you things that you do not need and he over charge if there is no price tag. He will just make up a price. The guy is friendly enough but come across like a used car salesman. If you in there looking for something he will automatically try to sell you the item that is more expensive.

Great shop with great people. They really care about what is best for you and will guide you patiently and professionally.

June and the staff at Marietta were fantastic. She first did my 5 year olds snorkeling class, and followed up with her SASY class. Shes got a remarkable way to connect with the children. So much so I had to hunt down a SASY set for the 6 year old. Dont you want to open a Birmingham shop?
