The Local Exchange is an amazing woman-owned boutique in the heart of Marietta Square, specializing in local and handmade goods.From pottery to coffee, self-care, and crochet, they have everything you are looking for in terms of unique gifts. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Ginger and had a friendly conversation with the owner. They carry a wide variety of items but its not an overwhelming experience. The store is very clean and all workers were wearing masks, which I appreciated. We arrived close to opening and saw first-hand cleaning procedures in high traffic areas being enforced -- a lovely storefront!We are honored to be a new vendor and customer. Adorable locally owned shop filled with unique gifts, all locally sourced! Clean and inviting atmosphere. We grabbed a few handmade items (scrunchies and face scrubbies) then headed next door for ice cream!

This store is great for anything made in Georgia. I go here to buy presents for my friends. Stuff isn’t overpriced and the staff is friendly. Also, I bought some mead here that is produced in Marietta. Good gift for drinkers.

This is our go-to source for Beautiful Briny Sea salt products. BBS is made in downtown Atlanta, and a little bit of a pain to get to, down at the Old Fourth Ward.We love their selection of local products, particularly the Red Hare Brewery root beer on draft.The staff is usually super attentive, but not so much on our visit today. In fairness, the shop girl had on a mask, but today mightve been the first time we werent greeted when we entered.All the same, its a different environment as everyone tries to get back into the swing of things, so we wont hold it against them.

Locally created foods, crafts, jewelry and interesting pieces. Items change constantly. Great place for unique gifts. I get many compliments on jewelry that I have bought from here. A cozy treasure shop located on beautiful Marietta Square. I always find something fabulous here. The people are courteous and helpful.

Lots of great local stuff. Great place for gifts but also AWESOME spot to pick up food, meals, beer and wine. They have a wide variety of food from the guilty pleasures to the healthy and all local! My favorite place on the square.

Awesome place! There is something new every time I go in there. The monthly wine and beer tastings are enjoyable and fun. The artwork upstairs is beautiful and includes local talented artists. If you are planning on coming to the Square, make sure to stop in at The Local Exchange.

Great place for Halal meat, grocery and too many other things also the staff are great.

I really wanted to enjoy this place because it is such a great idea, but it was really unsettling to see so many expired goods on the shelves. I understand that jarred goods have a long shelf life, but being able to see the dust on the jars and discoloration of the products inside just shows a lack of care (not to mention the July expiration date when its December).I tried to open some candles to give the actually shelf stable items a try, but I found many of them unable to be opened. When I did open one, I discovered why; there was rust all inside the tin! Gross!If you can find something here that is actually usable, then great, but its probably better to order directly from the source (and a heck of a lot more economical for what I was looking for).
