I wish I had read the reviews before I called this place to come and service my 2 year old pool. They asked for a credit card to be place on file which I did not have a problem with. The problem is they charged me for incomplete work. They came to clean the pool and did not finish the job because they said the motor STOP working (charge me for several hours of service). Months later they came out and replace the motor but overcharge my credit card. I called them and they refunded me $100.00 . Once they got the motor running they scheduled another cleaning. This time they did not finish the cleaning because they stated that my skimmer was clogged but they still charged me several hours of cleaning. I called another pool company and they showed me that the skimmer WAS NOT CLOGGED! and the water was flowing correctly. The other company got rid of the allergy and clean the pool in one day. I wish I could tell you the name of the other company. DONT SAY I DIDT WARN YOU!
Great company. I can always count on them for opening, closing, and even repairs. Always on time and always get the job done.
I went in yesterday requesting help for our above ground pool. I was completely dismissed and made to feel as though I was ignorant and a burden for seeking help from the experts with our pool issues. I left without spending a dime after the woman working said “Well, did the pool not come with instructions on how to take care of it?” As a business owner myself, that always attempts to shop small, I was astounded at the treatment I received and will not be back.
I have had good and bad experiences here in the past but the service experiences I have had over the last year have all been positive and Mike and the new owner seem to go above and beyond on a consistent basis. If you need a repair or service, call these guys.
Likely it was an off day or maybe it was not. The fact of the matter is that when you walk into a store and have to yell out to find someone to help you, things dont feel right. The lady that did eventually emerge, literally asked me what do you want? I was in that particular day looking for some help finding parts for my big green egg and when I asked her about price and availability, all she could do was act annoyed and pull the book out. I described what I thought I was looking for and she got very frustrated with me because I didnt know the specific part numbers. I was patient with her because neither one of us knew exactly what to look for and were going to have to help each other out. My appreciative demeanor was to no avail, she slammed the book down on the desk and proclaimed that she wasnt placing an order for big green egg anytime soon and frankly didnt want to waste her time on my little order. I redirected and asked what a brand new egg cost in a similar size and she told me I dont know, here is the book, you can look it up yourself and then promptly left for the back. I have seen behavior like this before in business owners and it almost usually coincides with extreme stress and poor financial performance in the business, so I did my best to look the other way and see things from her point of view. When she walked away from me after our last exchange I thought long and hard about how to address it and so I am writing this review and have begun patronizing a store much further away, but with customer service. To the woman that I am encountered at the store, I am sorry you were having a very bad day, week, month or even year. Please understand that we all have our own struggles as well, and your behavior did nothing more but put another nail in the coffin for your business. I have no reason to ever waste my time returning to your store after this incident...to much better competition out there that actually wants my business.
So I performed an experiment today. I went to Leslie’s pool on Saturday in Woodstock to have my water tested. They said I needed about $300 worth of chemicals for my pool for it to be clear for summer. Then I drove directly to Leslie’s pool in Roswell, same container of water, they tested my water and told me completely different results. Tried to sell me over $200 worth of chemicals different ones. The common thing they wanted me to use was alkalinity up. 30 lbs at Woodstock and 25 lbs at Roswell. Went home and threw in 15 lbs and let it run through overnight. Next morning pool looked great. Took water down to TLC and had my water tested. Crazy thing they said my water was perfect. Sold me nothing. Guess I know who I am trusting now. Thank you TLC for your honesty and I will be back.
There are not enough stars to rate TLC Pool. I have been a customer for 15+ years. If I call them, they answer the phone and are there to help me. If I need my water tested, they test it, as a courtesy, and they give me the best breakdown, of the pools needs, in greater detail than any other pool company in the area. As a result of their Loyal Customer Service - I am a Loyal Customer. They dont oversell and they dont undersell. As a customer, I dont take advantage of their kindness. TLC has helped me out of numerous pool issues. They are in business to serve the community. In this economy, we need local businesses to thrive in order for the public the achieve a certain amount of wellness. I am glad and thankful that TLC is Right Around the Corner. Mary and Bill were great. Helped me order a extra large custom hot tub cover. The cover was done perfectly and came in quickly. Mary even helped with taking the huge pieces of my cover out of the boxes they shipped in and helped to load them in my truck!! Job well done.
I met Bill yesterday for an orientation to a hot tub we inherited. Having dealt with many types of companies, you know when you meet people how you feel about the company and if you would call them again: wed call TLC again when we need help in the future. He was professional, friendly, and informative. He never once tried to up sale us or pressure us. In fact, he provided options where we should do things to save money. We appreciated his help.

Mary is terrific! I am a new pool owner and my pool was a green swamp when I opened it in early June. 10 days later, it was blue and swimmable thanks to Marys advice and guidance.Since then, I have been able to maintain the pool on my own by carrying in a water sample every 1-2 weeks. Kudos and thanks to TLC for being my pool partner.
I had wanted a Big Green Egg for years.So I checked out TLC for convenience and pricing. When I walked in I was greeted by Mary, who explained the options and answered my questions. She was extremely helpful. I was very satisfied with the service....love my BGE!
Called for a service call. They had us drain our pool or threatened to charge us extra if they had to wait for the pool to drain. We drained the pool and they no showed us. We called and they said it would be the next day. Not apologetic. Bad attitude! Never would I call on them again. Terrible service!
Went to TLC today and spoke with Pam. She helped me to determine what I would need for my pool as a start up. Very helpful. Talking to my husband abot having them work on our pool weekly. She managed to help me while ground maintenace man came in wanting help immediately. I am giving them 5 stars because he was so rude and she kept her composure while trying to deal with him. By the way I did not buy anything because I told her I wanted to talk to my husband first. She wrote everything down and I told her I would be back. AND I WILL!!!!!
They are amazing people and i have had the best service i could ask for even though we have had a lot of trouble with our pool TLC Pool & SPA was there to help! They have never once tried to get us to buy the wrong items for our pool and they tested the water for us to tell us exactly what we needed to do. they have been wonderful since day one and they are very committed to their customers. After dealing with another pool company for 2 weeks, I emailed TLC on a Friday night, Bill called me Saturday. Henry came out on Monday and was very helpful and friendly. Suggested what needed to be done and came back out the next day with the equipment to do it. Straightforward, honest and VERY helpful. Bottom line is my pool works now and it didnt cost me a fortune. Should have called them first!

Got cursed at by a TLC employee driving one of their vans at an intersection turning onto Autumn Ridge Parkway. Guess he should fix that broken directional on the company van so the rest of us can understand what he’s trying to do. Would never use or recommend this company.
I like the way TLC Pool & Spa handles the pool care of our swimming pool. They have a wide variety of swimming pool chemicals & supplies and know how to use them. They can even recommend how to do it by yourself if you want to. Extremely knowledgeable and polite!
Bill came out to do an inspection on the pool on the house that I was going to purchase. He was on time, thorough and completely kind!I would highly recommend their service.
First time I went there, great service. Second time, absolutely awful service. Whoever the lady was working on 3/10/18 at 1:20ish should not be in a customer service industry. I’m going the ten extra miles to aqua-Rama...just for a filter. Good grief!
I called TLC early this AM after my pool filter died and Mike told me the earliest he could get to me was Monday. While grateful to get an appointment, I was honest that if I could get someone in sooner, I would let him know and cancel. Voila - 3 hours later, Mike is at my front door!!! He happened to be in the area and stopped by to address the pool filter issue. And within less than 30 minutes, he had it figured it out and reversed! SO, right now, the filter is working and all is good with the world. For this moment anyway. Thanks Mike and TLC!!!

Please dont waste your time or money here. They are EXTREMELY RUDE and have TERRIBLE customer service. I went in looking for a part and the owner literally rolled her eyes at me when I asked for it, and then one of her female employees asked me if they were closing my pool. When I said no she told they didnt the part I needed because they were on the trucks with the guys who were closing pools for their customers. We just moved into the area and they are extremely convenient to our house but I WILL NEVER spend a single penny in this store since clearly they dont need my business. Its ridiculous that they would treat a potential customer this way. Its ironic that their name is TLC because clearly they are incapable of offering that!!!
Fast and efficient and Ive never felt theyre trying to sell me chemicals that I dont need.
Mary @ Tlc is always very knowledgeable and helpful when I go in for pool supplies. You should definitely give them a your business as they very good at what they do.
Ill be a TLC Pools customer for life. I started out with AquaRama because they built my pool and did a beautiful job.after it got so expensive with them I started testing and treating the water myself but when it got bad 2 years ago I went back to AquaRama. In 2 weeks I spent close to $600.00 and my water was still a mess. They kept telling me to put in more shock. Finally I went to TLC, spent $26.00, did what Mary told me to do and in a couple of days my water was sparkling. Ive stayed with them since. My pool stays good and Im saving money over doing it myself because it doesnt get out of balance. I trust them completely because they dont sell me chemicals I dont need. Mary can be a little brusque at times, I wouldnt want her for my doctor but I love her for my pool person.
