The screen went dark on the drill.I called and spoke to 3 Service Managers. The best they could tell me is the price of a new screen. I finally worked out that the problem was tiny white little breakers on the modules. I pushed them all in and the screen came to life.We buy machines like mine at 250k.We are bound to come to you for parts and repairs. Our business with you is assured when we get your machines. Why could you not be honest, and tell me about the breakers?This is outright dishonest, and poor customer service!
By far one of the best stocked arborist stops in this region. Was greeted as soon as I walked in by a friendly smile. The selection of rope, blocks pulleys saddles helmets is mind blowing. I appreciate these guys. I own a ctx100 and had an issue with it prior to the warranty Expiring. I had spoke with them about the expiration of the warranty and the issue. They said to bring it in, but it was a very small part and I didnt want to bother hauling in a 3000 pound unit only to have them fix a $40 part and all the downtime excetera.it was a small part, a switch on the ride plate. Anyway, it got worse and worse and a few months after the warranty I called them and said hey look it finally went bad can you just ship me a switch. At first they had to figure out how they were going to get through the warranty issue since it was actually passed the warranty. Well he talked to his managers and sent me over the part minus the shipping.I think they did a great job standing behind the spirit of their warranty.Thanks Vermeer Southeast!!!
Be aware when you take your equipment for service at vermeer in Marietta I bring my equipment for service and I ending on bringing my equipment three times issues caused for the same problem for the job they did and they put to many excuses and I ending on spend more than $4000 and my equipment still has a problem for the same repair they did make sure to be aware with them special with the manager at the store
Vermeer products are made great from my experiences with them, however, Vermeer Southeast has a questionable service department including how they calculate time (to repair- labor), and ordering exactly what you need for your machine’s repair. If you can do the mechanic work yourself with the Vermeer parts or pay your local mechanic to do so I would highly recommend going that route- save yourself the headache.
Very willing to do what the customer wants, foreman and techs go out their way to get exactly what you need done.
