Very helpful staff member answered all of my art supply questions thoroughly and was friendly. I also received 20% off my final purchase price just by typing in my phone number for the first time. They said I can earn points towards future purchases. I thought the prices were very reasonable.

Wow, their same day pick-up is fast! It was ready in under an hour! Oh, and the app was actually easy to use for same day pick-up. Very straightforward ordering and fast drive up ordering.

So I purchased 2 little frog charms 3 weeks ago, or so I thought, now I am not from this area I was looking for frog charms and they were the only store who had any so I bought the last 2. I walked out thinking both charms were in my bag, But I guess the girl who put them in the bag did not place it very well apparently one of my charm fell out of my bag. So I called the next day to let the store Supervisor know what happened I forgot to get his name, He said they found it and it was waiting for me but I explained that I dont live close by could they mail it to Me and he said that he would ask the store Manager Dave about mailing to Me, So I waited a day and never heard back. So I called back and spoke with Dave and He said that He never heard anything about it and that person I spoke to is on Vacation to call him back in a week. So today is a week and I called Back and Dave wont take my Call so I am out of a Frog Charm. I Guess Michaels cant afford to pay me back $ 2.49 plus tax. Never going there again.!!!!!!!

This michaels just has bad vibes. every time i go in there i get chills. ive never actually seen anyone in there that i could identify as a worker as ive never tried to make a purchase and michaels employees in general seem to hide in the aisles, but im sure they’re friendly enough.

Raven the manager is the absolute best! Super friendly and beyond helpful! Had an issue with another Michaels nearby and they refused to correct their mistake. However, Raven was able to come through and help me with my issue with a fantastic attitude 💖Thank you Raven! 💖

Recently took two canvas prints I purchased online to get mounted/streched over a frame. It was more expensive than I thought it would be, but I didnt do any research, I am generally loyal to Michaels so I ran with it. They had to order in the frame so they gave me a date 2 weeks later to pick them up. Then they called me to say they ordered the wrong size and they would let me know when they were ready. Almost 3 weeks from my initial transaction, I arrived at the store to ask about them. They still werent done, but the employee I spoke with said to come back in an hour and immediately began to do it himself. At the end of the day, the canvases look great, but there is clearly an issue with supply for the store. It would greatly improve their productivity to create the frames in-house, possibly decrease the cost as well.

Easy parking, clean, well-stocked and friendly staff.

Montery location poorly stocked in jewelry department and sewing department. Staff helpful but they just didnt have the merchandise.

Found what I was looking for and other things I didnt know they had. Prefer Marina location over the Salinas location for the simple fact that the Marina store always seems to have more product.

Choose curbside pickup option, let them know I was on my way and checked in when I got there. It took 25 minutes for them to bring out my order!! I chose curbside because I had my son with me and dont want to bring him into any stores due to COVID. Dont offer curbside pickup if its going to be so poorly managed. When I called into the store to find out what was taking so long they said they were really busy in the store. Im a customer and Im in line too. I shouldnt have to wait for everyone else to check out before Im helped.

I strongly discourage anyone from going to this location. I took 3 items to be framed two weeks ago and received a call that the items were ready. Granted, I was delayed about a week in picking up the items, but when I arrived to the store last evening the frames were far from ready. In fact, each one of the items had issues: ALL of the items were not matted straight, one had smudges, and one of the frame had been slightly damaged. I waited over an hour for the items to be fixed, and was eventually told that it was going to take even longer. I was also told someone would call me that evening with a status and I never received a call. I called the store today and a very rude employee placed me on hold for approximately 13 minutes. I called back because no one answered and the same employee hung up on me when I called back claiming they were busy. I called back AGAIN and I was finally connected to the framing department. I was told the frames can be transferred to the Salinas store so I am going there tonight. I sure hope this saga finally ends and that Michael’s considers this as a call to action for improving their quality control and customer service.

Pricey but good quality art supplies

Michaels has lots of great craft items and frames. In addition to pictures, we had some art framed by their Aaron Framing. Cheyenne handled the framing and was terrific at providing guidance on mats and frames.She listened to our ideas and had great recommendations.The end product was perfect.

Michaels is amazing I had a gift card and I found everything I was looking for I love the candy at the front and people are so nice they help you and are always smiling if you are looking for a craft store go here I got a bunch of stuff for less than 💯 dollars it was amazing I love this place it is surely 5 🌟 worthy

I love love love coming here. Google says the typical visit time is 25 minutes and I just have no idea how thats possible, theres always so much to look at. My interest is constantly piqued whilst here. Its so awesome! 😍🤩😋🤭❤

This location has been my go to for all my craft needs for the past 5 years and I’ve never had anything negative to say about it until now. I went in to buy a couple of ribbons, something I buy a lot of, and the price is placed next to a picture of the ribbon pattern, which a lot of Michael shoppers know. When I went to the register to pay for my items I noticed that they were being rung up at about a dollar more a piece then what the advertised price was. So I politely told the cashier that I thought the prices were coming up wrong. He laughed in my face and said that there was nothing he could do about that. So I asked if there was a way I could show him or the manager the price so I wouldn’t be over charged (which was by about $10) he got very angry and said “mam it’s just freaking ribbon either you want it or not, there’s nothing I can do about the price” the supervisor at the door heard him say this so he came up to us and asked what the issue was. As I tried to explain to him how it was overcharging me the employee (whose name is Robert) cut me off and said “she’s complaining about the price like either she wants it or not I don’t know what to tell you.” The manager then sent an employee to check the price and told him that I was right and something was wrong with the system so to just override it. This really made the employee mad and he grabbed the ribbons out of the bag and began slamming them down and scanning them. When he scanned them he started scanning some ribbons multiple times, which I noticed and again trying to be polite, let him know he charged me for 13 ribbons instead of 9. Then he voided the whole transaction and said “look I can’t help the computer is messing up, you have to pay this price or not get this stuff.” My husband at this point had had enough and called the supervisor over and asked him to ring us up instead. The supervisor apologized and asked if we could pls go to the next register and another cashier would ring us up. When I reached to grab my bag of ribbons the employee snatched and tossed it in the bagging area instead of handing it to me or simply letting me pick it up. At this point I had had enough. I really don’t like confrontation and I’d rather walk away from situations like this but it was so disrespectful i had to let him know that. He then began trying to scream at me and my husband stepped in to defend me. He then threatened to get physical with my husband (while he’s pushing our newborn baby in the stroller) and his supervisor came in and told him to walk away. We went to a different register and paid for our stuff and when we walked out the supervisor assured us that something would be done and he was very apologetic. I’ve came in so many times and have had lots of pleasant experiences, the employees are usually very nice and helpful including the supervisor. I have never felt so uncomfortable, disrespected and treated so poorly as a consumer. I am a server/Bartender and KNOW what difficult customers and bad guest to employee interactions are and I did not deserve to be treated like this. I understand things are tough with adjustments with the pandemic and we’re all trying to adjust to this new way of shopping and doing things but someone like that does not belong in the retail world where customer service is necessary. It makes me sad to say because I loved shopping at Michaels so much but I will not be returning, I will make the trip to hobby lobby in Salinas instead.

Today, 11/18/19, was my first visit to your store. I am very impressed andhave no trouble at all in giving Michaels in Marina, five stars.The store, is well stocked and well laid out. Needless to say, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas now, too and there are some beautiful Christmasitems laid out for all to see. I was in a bit of rush so, did not have time toreally look around and enjoy everything but, clearly the store is doing verywell and will do very well indeed, for Christmas. I wish them a good season.As I ran to get an few items for a craft project I was going to do, I neededsome help in finding some of them. I was lucky enough tohave one of your employees help me to do that. His name is Jose and anystore/company, should be proud to have him. He was competent, kind,efficient, and was enthusiastic about being an employee at the store. Clearly, he enjoys working for Michaels. I dont live too close to the storeor, I would go in more often. However, I do plan on going again some timeand I hope to see Jose, again when I do. Employees, make a company,that is a fact well known but sadly not always listened to. I would liketo think that Jose, as well as his co-workers are appreciated andtreated accordingly. Best wishes!!

Two stars because the employees really try. This store has gotten gross fast. The bathrooms are almost always broken and they dont seem to have a working heater (I feel REALLY bad for the night shift).Long lines are a common problem in the retail world, we all get it. But my recent experience at Michaels in Marina was just bizarre. I was standing in the standard single long lane while the poor cashier did her best. She called for backup multiple times with no response. Her supervisor, Lonnie, showed up but didnt help with the line. Instead, he called for backup just as shed been doing. When another employee rushed by, Lonnie asked her to hop on a register. Satisfied, he disappeared into the back of the store.I think Michaels should seriously consider investing in better management at Marina. I was miserable during my last visit and wont be returning. I hope the employees who helped me and my fellow crafters also move on and find better working conditions.

Found this visit disappointing due to disorganization through out the store. Place seemed not well stocked as other near by Michaels. Better to drive to Salinas instead.

Sometimes its not well stocked and a little cluttered in certain aisles but the staff is very helpful and will always do their best to help. The water fountain is a little broken near the restrooms and it sprays so hard it hits the wall and usually kids have a habit of making puddles but overall they have everything you would ever need to be creative personally i love their paint selection

This is definitely my favorite Michael’s! The Michael’s is always clean, well organized and thoughtfully laid out. This store is large and filled with everything craft worthy imaginable. If Michael’s doesn’t have what you’re looking for, perhaps it doesn’t exist? The employees are always visible and ready to help. They go above and beyond and are so very friendly. Craft stores, this is the store to emulate, they hit it out of the park!

Great place for all types of crafts. Customer service is always bad there unless it is empty. Buy they should have what you are looking for and they are always running sales so look online before you go in. They also offer teacher discounts which is always something good to see

Michaels has a nice variety of seasonal products. They are moving from name brands to their own house brand, Recollections. Some of the quality is not as good. I am starting to shop online more because theres a greater variety of products than what Michaels offers.

They have a great selection of items for a wide range of projects. They almost always have deals when I go on there, and the cashiers are always looking out for ways to help you save. Almost every time I go here they have an extra coupon they apply at checkout without even asking for it.The only down side I would say is that the lines are typically long with only 1 or 2 cashiers, but they make up for this by always being upbeat and friendly once you get to them. I take my brother after school every couple weeks, so I may just be going at a busy time also.I do a lot of crafting, from acrylic pouring, crocheting, clothes art, stone decorations, and baking. I can go there for all of my necessities!

Michaels had always been a store I loved visiting ever since I was a kid because they had so many different things one could dive his creativity into its truly indescribable, being an art obsessed soul since birth all these things had a great significance to me its my own way of creating a universe and anything else that makes righteousness for all some way some how

As a whole the store is terrible. The management arent fit to run their own lives yet alone a business, the only bright side to my experience at this store was the framing department. Suzanne was the most professional person in the store she not only created an amazing custom frame for me but knew the store and products better than anyone in the store. I will definitely return for custom framing but that is it! If I could rate custom framing alone it would be a solid 5 stars.

Love this place! They always have everything we need, as long as its in season of course. Lines were long and wrapping today but they opened up two more registers pretty quickly.

This store has almost every thing a crafter could want! My husband complained that I spent too much time there. Yet every time I was ready to go, I couldnt find him! We had fun.shopping there together.

I had to order envelopes and I wasn’t sure when curbside pick up closed. So I called them to ask and the man I was speaking with was absolutely rude. I was very kind asking him the questions I asked, and had every right. No need to speak to a teenager that way lol.

Its clean and organized, still pretty pricey, but you can find a variety of nice, chic and classy items there, always best when you can use the 40% or 50% discount but its just on one item.
