This place was such a special experience. Not only is the coffee and food excellent but the service was exceptional. It was as if we were guests in a fun home. We had their ham and egg breakfast sandwiches with coffee. Tasted so fresh like a home cooked meal. They also have this delicious anti inflammatory drink that was extremely good, he called it a “vaccine in a cup” lol definitely tasted the medicinal properties but it was enjoyable to drink.Thank you for being apart of a great weekend. We will be back!

Stopped by 4 times while staying in Marina. Fantastic breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The fried egg and pork belly croissants were delicious! Drip bar is awesome and Horace is the man. A+++

We were at Carmel by the Sea which can get busy for breakfast,nap we decided to venture out.. found this gem not so far away and was glad we did.The owner was super friendly and very accommodating. I asked if it was too early for fish and his response was, its never too early... He made me this amazing grilled salmon with jalepenos. my wife asked about tamales that he then suggested to try it with an egg since it was breakfast, and it was deliciousIf you are in the area or somewhat close, give this place a try. Only caveat to be aware of, they dont take cards, so cash or Venmo to pay

We stopped here on the way home from a trip and couldn’t have ended the trip in a better way! Horace was so kind and friendly and our food and coffee were incredible! I got the sausage breakfast burrito and my husband got the chorizo one. We both had vanilla lattes that were delicious! Highly recommend Coffee Mia!

Awesome food & great service !!! PLEASE if your in Marina, you MUST go check this place out. The food is amazing and the staff & customer service are the best in the area. Coffee is fantastic here too. All of the dishes are very reasonably priced and good portions. Again, the food is the best in the while area for breakfast or lunch. Their pastries are also VERY good. I cant say enough great stuff about this place. MUST SEE if your anywhere near Marina Ca.

Nice lil local coffee joint. The coffee is excellent and they have all the coffee mutations youll need - mocha, etc... lots of pastries and stuff like breakfast burritos. Staff was great - lots of personality. Would go again just based on the coffee.

The overall experience of this restaurant was superior! You get a fresh cup of coffee because they’re all done as “poor overs”.. We had a breakfast croissant sandwich, with chorizo, which was fresh and flavorful. The pastries are excellent and the customer service was over the top!

I hadnt been to Monterey in a very long time. Personal issues brought me here. I just happened to find Mias and Horace (I hoped I spelled his name correctly). What a ray of sunshine. Fun, friendly, welcoming! Horace makes you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. And he obviously remembers everyone the 2nd time they walk in, even if it is just for a second cup he remembers the roast you are drinking.

I’ve come a total of 3 times and I must say I’ve never felt judged, watched or confused. The coffee is always amazing and they’re desserts are extra sweet. The owner makes it seem like this place is too good to be true. The service isn’t worth me talking about because I could do it no justice by how wonderful they’ll treat you. Dude making coffee seemed like a great guy but wore his mask under his chin while he whistled along making everyones order. Even coughed off to the side. This is a tourist area, just wear the mask. (3 stars tho because his personality was fantastic)

I would rather give my business to a place like this than starbucks, and my first several visits were great. Today, the gentleman making the coffee and working the register had his buff around his neck. Pulled it back up at my request saying I just had my coffee, dont worry im healthy as an ox then took it back off while serving the next customer after I was in my car.Youre serving people food, you have a responsibility to do better than that. Take your coffee break outside and keep a mask on inside.

First time visiting here. menu seemed varied, some uncommon coffee choices, like a bulletproof brew. seemed like I waited quite some time to even be acknowledged while the single server (owner, I presume) finished what seemed like a private conversation with a friend. Was really ready to just leave when she finally admitted I was there. Ignoring that, coffee was good, well priced, great temp. I will definitely return, look forward to it, maybe try out a sandwich, just hope to be treated a little more like a valued customer.

Super friendly service. Great coffee, I try to hit up some of these local shops rather than go to chains and its so worth it. The coffee was brewed to perfection, not over done like some leading coffee places. They offer all types of sweetner including organic raw honey. Cute atmosphere inside and offer indoor & outdoor seating. Great spot!

What a fantastic place! We chanced upon this little cafe while visiting from Canada, and were so delighted to have breakfast here. Wonderful, authentic, home made food and excellent coffee. My double espresso was perfect and my wifes espresso macchiato was topped with a nice, dense foam. Their baked chile rellano egg and cheese casserole was comfort food defined. The almond croissant was sweet and buttery, perfect pair for the espresso. Even better here was the sense of community. People were meeting each other, holding court on local issues, being friendly and supportive. The owner seemed like the heart of a warm community. Honestly this place felt like the best of America. Recommended.

Driving up the coast of California and found myself in marina. Stumbled into this place. It has the absolutely the coolest owner. Best menu. If youre reading this and dont end up going here youre making a mistake. My route back to socal will come by here just for this place.

The lattes were not very good. The staff let much more than 6-8 people hang out inside, including a few who didnt wear masks. Larger crowds congregated outside without masks near to the entrance door. I would have skipped the place if the crowds had been there before we ordered.

The staff was not wearing a mask (even when they had a sign that everyone entering the building has to wear a mask) during COVID pandemic and touching food and coffee lid with bare hands. He had an attitude and didn’t even say goodbye when I did. Not going back.
