Great people! Took some books in to sell. They are very fast and friendly when it comes to calculating what the price of the books are to buy from you! And they are awesomely priced for their books!

Seriously dangerous place for book lovers! 😉 I strongly recommend a few hours to browse through the plethora of books. Prices are fantastic too!

This store has a great collection, at decent prices, generally. I would rate them higher if my customer service experience was slightly better- there’s a robotic behavior I attribute to management that seems unnecessary. I would also rate higher if selling books here wasn’t such an ordeal. Once, I brought a box of semi-hard to find books in and was offered $7 for the lot and acted like it was a chore and I should be thankful, darn it. At the time, I just needed to get rid of things, so I went ahead and did it. Come to find, they had shelved about 10 of those books and collectively- if I were to buy them back, I would pay $82.93 plus tax. In short, if you have interesting books in good condition -and some time, maybe try selling them yourself.

Bookworms rejoice! A spacious building packed with books of all formats, topics, and genres. Fiction or nonfiction, doesnt matter. They have you covered. Books separated by topics and kept well in order for ease of searching. And if they dont have it, they can check their other stores to see if they do and have it delivered. They also do vinyl records, CDs, and DVDs. One of my most frequent haunts. Love this place.

Generally can something to read.You can take your books back that youve read, but you wont get squat for them. But at least someone will do something with them.

I love this place. Its roomy and every thing is marked by genre.I can look up on line to see if they have what Im looking for. Im not wasting a trip, and usually come out with more than I went in for.They not only have books. They have records, games, and movies too.Its easily accessible, and easy to find.

I purchased a bible that isnt just missing pages or chapters. Its missing books. Im taking it back. Its missing 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude, Revelation and large share of the Concordance. Sorry but the price was not worth it.

I tried to take my 2 year old grandson to the book store. He loves books! The man at the door yelled at him because he didnt have a mask on and made him cry. He has never worn one. HE IS TWO!!!!! I will NEVER go into that store again. He was very arrogant and rude to me. I will tell everyone I know about this!

Thank you Half Price books for helping me grow my book collection in 2020 at great reasonable prices. The employees are always helpful looking up titles and authors. I enjoy finding little goodies I didnt know I was looking for as well as journals and cards.

For me Im like a little kid in a candy store. The employees are nice and helpful and the prices usually reasonable. The only down side is the store could be a little bigger.

If I could do zero stars I could....My mom, my son and I went to half price books today because he likes books. The employee at the door said if he is 2 and over he needs to wear a mask. Knowing that it is 2 and under that they dont have to, I didnt have one for him. The employee pointed at the adult surgerial masks and yelled at me (in front of the store) if he has to wear one or get out! I was heated. Half price books just lost our business. Dont yell at my kid!

I checked the website twice for the closing time since we were coming from out of town. We arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes before closing time only to be told they were closing 2 hours early. 5 announcements in 15 minutes over the speaker stating they were closing. They could not wait for us to leave. 5 employees

As my kids and I walked in with our muzzles properly placed the greeter still felt the need to say “make sure to keep your masks covering your nose and mouth while in the store.” Our compliance wasn’t enough for this company...they needed control too.

I took over 132 books to them to sell. A few of them were still in the original plastic wrapping. Most were like new and hardcover. While waiting for my offer I found another book in one of the series that was similar to what I had brought in to sell. They were selling it for $5.99.When I got my offer it was for $13.50 for all the books. That averaged out to about .10 cents per book. My advice is to not waste your time taking books to these people. They will not give you more than a few cents per book.

My favorite book store. The books are always in really good condition, the price is pretty cheap for ones i have bought, they are one of the few book stores i know that sell manga, the workers are always nice and helpful and i love going to here. I cant really say anything bad about HPB.

This establishment leaves their doors wide open letting out heat pollution. Absolutely abhorrent in these times. Ever heard of a thing called climate change?? What a waste!!

This HPB is a mixed bag. The selection is usually pretty good but the store itself feels cramped, even when its not that busy. The staff is knowledgable and you will get a fair price for your books, especially considering how cheap they are to purchase.The staff gets 4 stars, but the store seems a little out-dated and too small.

A hidden gem! Very reasonably priced, great inventory of books, records, movies, cds & toys. However, mask required and shopping limited to 30 minutes.

Easy curbside pickup!!! I called the store, asked for the book I wanted, and paid over the phone! The book was ready for me when I got there less than an hour later. I believe it was Aaron who helped me throughout the whole process and he was an absolute delight :) Thanks HPB!!!

Your prices are always way messed up. 8 dollars for Tombstone dvd. Can literally buy brand new for 4 dollars exact at walmart and dozens of places online. How is this competitive. I stop in once in a while to see if I can get a deal on a dvd or blue ray and always find used costs double new. Really?

Half Price Books has a wide range of books and things. I got my daughter a Sushi kit. Great price. I also wanted some special cookbooks that goes with a series of books I collect. They didnt have them but was very happy to order them. They came quickly too, it took like a week to get them. Im always very happy with the experience I have when I go. They also will buy back any school books and books(in good condition).

If youre a lover of books and literature, this place is a little heaven on earth.

I have loved them for years as a customer, but yesterday when I brought in my books for the first time, my impression on their business had totally changed. I took two Japanese- English dictionaries and several of the Japanese pregnancy and baby care related books, all mostly new and in excellent conditions. Ive bought Japanese books there many times, and I know that they dont sell them too cheap. I would have been happy if I have even ten dollars though I knew they are gonna price them to sell far more than that. When I was called out to be given the receipt to get $3, I couldnt believe it. At least, I wished they have a courtesy to check whether I agree to sell them with such an outrageously low price before cutting a receipt. Its almost a level of injustice. My friend said when he took 12 Star Wars books to them, they offered the amount equal to buy their 2 of the similar Star Wars books. So that means they took his books with one sixth of the price they are going to sell. In my case, I know 30 cents a book cant be even one tenth of the price they are going to put. Crazy. I understand that the price of used books could fluctuate quite a bit based on demands and conditions etc, but still there needs to be a certain guideline like so much percentage of the selling price will be given etc. As it is right now, it is a scary black market level.

Loved this store but so disappointed with all those books and movies that went to the landfill. So many people out there that would of loved them. No I do not believe your excuse that you told the news station. People were there and saw first hand that they were not in as bad of shape as you said they were.

We wont be back. My children were harassed while shopping because they werent wearing their mask correctly. I would not recommend this store if you like shopping in peace.

Went in to Half Price Books for the first to waste some time waiting for dinner reservations. I was very impressed with the vast selection. And even walked out with a couple great deals. Will definitely go back.

This store you can find anything you want and more. If they dont have it, they will find it for you. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. One of my favorite places to shop and splurge! The entire staff is always helpful and beyond friendly. Recently helping my 7 year old with Minecraft books. On a rainy day, when I say to my kids, Lets go to Half Price Books, the screams of excitement could rupture eardrums! :-)

They had a sealed copy of Mel Brookss Blazing Saddles for $4.99 so that was very exciting. I also purchased a copy of The Legend of Stone Cold Steve Austin so you know Im going to party this weekend. I really like coming here to look around, and then finding that one crazy thing that you didnt know you needed. Several years ago I bought a kit that had a book with test sheets and a CD on learning Short Hand. (If you know what that is then your old). I got so i could write it.
