Got Chinese and the sesame chicken just tasted like dollar tree bbq sauce. And everything else looks worse than it had in the past year. Really missing the old food quality compared to this right now :(

I ate breakfast at the Market GrilleI dont mind waiting for my foodMy pancakes were cold on top of that they served it with cold butter ice cold syrup. My sausage patties for cold dried out and tasteless.I ordered cheese and onions on my potatoes got a cold slice of cheese on topAnd no onionsI did not complain to the staff because the staff was terrificAnd I will not go back to the HyVee Market Grille on 151 in Marion Again.

This is the Hy-Vee with the friendliest staff around.Everyone that I have encountered that works here are very helpful. They don’t seem to regard customers as interruptions. They have the same services as the other Hy-Vees such as dry cleaning and a floral department.I go there for the good produce. Parking seems to go smoothly.One thing that confuses me about this chain is that pricing is not consistent with every store except for items listed in their sale ads.

Im a doordash driver and I come to this hyvee alot and almost every time I make it there and inform them that Im here for a order, they always say, they are running behind and it may take a hour for a order that should have been filled already. Either you all need to hire people that move as or hire more people to help out with the online orders

Extremely, disappointed in the cake that I purchased for a special birthday. It was literally something I could have made and saved time and money. The cake was edible, the design was simple and not what to expect out of a cake you’re ordering for a special day. And the phrase that I had requested to be put on was “Quoted”. Which looked incredibly tacky. I will never purchase a cake here again. Sadly disappointing.

My visit to this store was not a very good one. The express cashier had no idea what to do with my drive up groceries. Told me I needed to take them somewhere. Then at drive up my groceries were just thrown in my vehicle. When I got home and opened my hatch everything fell out onto the ground. Out of the bags. Very disappointing. 😢

They are a great place to shop at and most employees are really friendly but there was an incedent that happened today that needs to be addressed that happened with one of the cart guys. He literally almost hit my 7 year old with the cart and when i said something he didnt even apologize and kept going. What if he would of hit my child? Lets do a little bit better guys.

Watermelons that aren’t ripe. Pale pink flesh inside. This is what you can expect from expensive Hy-Vee. If it doesn’t have a dead curl on the end, shows green on both ends— don’t buy it. Mine was sent to me from a friend. They ripped her off.

Just too big for me. They have most everything though. Very crowded and registers were all 3+ deep.

Hy-Vee Chinese used to be a staple of my childhood man. Parents would reward us as kids by bringing it home especially when we didnt have that much money. But between partially cooked chicken with bone fragments in them, fried rice thats little more than melted butter and white rice, egg rolls that taste like they have been sitting out for hours and overall poor customer service, Im sorry to say that youve run whatever reputation you had into the dirt. Nothing I or anyone else says seems to make any change though, thats fine, you dont have to do anything but we dont have to buy it. I know a lot of people certainly feel the same way about it.

Starting to finish renovations, all around a good place.

The deli and Chinese used to be good. Lately its not even gas stations quality food. We got a dinner for 2 tonight I ask what happened to the fried rice and the kid at the counter said they had to take out the veggies. Also they removed the FLAVOR from that and the Lo- mein. Looks like management is cutting corners and the knowledge of food quality.

Under construction. Hope they arent moving all of them to 2 lanes of service and the rest self serve. Will only shop on Sunday in a really bad pinch otherwise fareway is cheaper and more guest friendly.

I placed a bakery order for my mothers birthday and let me tell you that employee Bree really did a good job designing my moms cake she was really nice and friendly! If you want a cake done right and it to look professional call bakery and ask for Bree!!

Negative 10 in my book. I have to drive from 9 miles away just to get to the nearest Hy-Vee(Marion)! But lately Ive been going elsewhere due to higher prices, lack of employee friendliness or assistance, the fact that the stores inventory is NOT organized like it should be, I mean come on...ice cream in two different sections of the freezers? Also we dont need 30 different kinds of bbq sauce or mayo, we need more variety for necessity items like TP, soap, or dairy. Id like to give my business BACK to Hy-Vee instead of other unmentionables that are WAY cheaper or better organized! One last thing, REBUILD THE HY-VEE DRUG STORE!!!! We need sub stores like these because they provide more jobs and help ppl who may be veterans with PTSD who dont want to go into the big Hy-Vee because of too many ppl! Respect your customers who give you their hard earned money instead of worrying about how you can continue to increase your profit margin!!!

Chinese food tasted old/gross, and the fried rice isn’t even fried rice. Got orange chicken and it tasted like it was in BBQ sauce.

Just the smell of this store makes the whole shopping experience awful. The whole store smells like their seafood department... its quite unpleasant. Its small and cramped and I will go out of my way to go to another one because of these two main things. I recommend the Edgewood location.

Cant find anything with the reorg of aisles. Personal shoppers block the aisle with 2 carts each. No baggers, had to bag my own! Shopping at this Hy Vee has become a very unpleasant experience.

Their pharmacy staff needs training in communication. I guess Hy-vee only pays $8 an hour, so one shouldnt expect too much in terms of good service

About 3 weeks before Thanksgiving I called the meat department and asked if they sold fresh turkeys. They told me that they did so I ordered one. I picked it up the day before Thanksgiving and I was surprised on Thanksgiving day when I discovered that the giblets on the inside of the turkey were still a bit frozen. I suppose I should have defined what I meant by fresh before I ordered it. Im not sure if I paid more for it but it definitely was not a fresh, never frozen turkey. Very disappointed.

Coffee is cheaper, dining room comfortable, and TV available.

It was really cold out but as soon as you walk through the first set of automatic doors its nice and warm. Then inside was just as nice . Everything was well stocked and isles labeled. You would have NO problem finding what your looking for. They even have a little cafeteria to eat and another little cozy spot to sit and have a cup of coffee, hot coco or whatever beverage you might want. Except alcohol . Its not that kind of spot.For a grocery store its very warm, inviting and stress free. Employees are polite, friendly and well groomed. All in All its a very nice store. And the prices are reasonable also.

Very disappointed. Chinese used to be alot better. The lady was also very rude that helped us and kinda skimped on how much she gave us. We werent done ordering and she says have a nice day and walks away. Most likely wont be back.

Im a big fan of HyVee and have been for years but this particular store has to be the worst managed store in the chain. Squeaky carts that need front end alignments. small selection of many popular items that are plentiful at other HyVees, slow help at the deli, a half-baked liquor store ... not to mention higher prices than anywhere in town. Im finding myself shopping at Farway more and more. This store needs a long overdue update and management change.

I was called by the manager on duty and he gave me credit for the amount purchased.

Alan in management deserves a raise. He was fantastic! I felt like I had an assistant helping me along the way. He was great. The florist lady was very helpful in getting me a working mart cart when the one I was on went dead. My only complaint was not able to find 2 items on sale but they were not urgent, and the young man cashier was lacking in knowledge when he didnt even know what a green bell pepper was.

The people, they are very friendly and several of them call me by name. The store is large but organized for easy access and I never have to spend a lot of time getting what I want. The always add additional checkers if busy. The main thing for me is the people. They are great. They have built the store on the basic believe that they take care of their employees and the employee will take care of the store.

I ordered Chinese food for pickup and the fried rice was HORRIBLE!! It was YELLOW in color, so I called thinking maybe I have the wrong rice but the employee advised it is cooked in egg yoke, YUCK!! The need to get other Hyvee stores recipe ! Won’t get take out their again!!

This store is well run and always clean. The staff and managers are very friendly. The produce is usually the best in town though prices on some items arent as competitive as others. They have lots of great perks too like free snacks (banana, cookie, cheese) for kids under 12, discounts on gas from buying certain items and their Hy-Vee aisles service. Another bonus is the variety of carts available. They have a big if your shopping with multiple kids, regular, and smaller if you dont need a lot but need a child seat or dislike using the baskets. This is my go to place for quick trips.

My mom and I come here to get groceries and the environment is amazing! I love coming here!

Best grocery chain in the area. Fills all of our grocery needs every week. Chinese food counter is also really good, you wouldnt think so in a grocery store, but worth a try if you havent yet. Hyvee also has some of the best selection of craft beers and spirits. Pretty much as one stop shop as you can get. Always clean and very helpful and friendly staff... Dont like shopping for groceries anywhere else.

Ok. So the marion hyvee has PEANUT BUTTER WHISKEY! Yes its awesome yes you gotta try it. No you cant get it for free. Yes it tastes like peanut butter. And last bit not least hyvee has very pleasant employees that seem genuinely happy to help. Thanks. Enjoy the peanut butter whiskey!

I think Hy-Vee is an exceptional chain. They do so much good for the community and for Veterans. This store has A huge selection of food and produce. The staff is very helpful. We also just started ordering our groceries online and couldn’t be happier.

I was in the store couple weeks ago and they had some Bens spicy mustard that was free for some reason(8oz). It was terrific great taste not to spicy. I would hope this is something Hy-Vee would start to carry on a regular basis.....Great product ! ! !

Being from the South I would compare this store to our well-known Publix. A little bit of everything with higher prices than Im used to. Parking was ample and they had plenty of the smaller carts that I prefer. My reason for four stars are that the clerks were not very engaging so maybe they were just tired.

Every single time I visit ANY Hy-vee, I receive excellent customer service. Their slogan is spot on too... theres a helpful smile in every aisle!

They have everything you could possibly need from ethnic foods to exotic cheeses.

This is my favorite out of all the Hyvees Ive been to. The prices seem to be a little lower than the CR stores. I love the free banana for kids. I did have trouble finding a couple things and there was not a helpful smile anywhere to be found. I ended up leaving without said items.

Pretty similar to most of the other Hy-Vees, it is not as big as the biggest, but its clean and well-maintained. If youve been to one, for the most part you have been to them all.

Spend more time at the customer service counter than anywhere else. Always have to go there to get the receipt fixed because the check out gal/guy forgot to scan a coupon or the item rang up wrong.

JUST OKEY, there is little planning for traffic flow, pedestrian traffic and I have to wonder why this Hy-Vee is about 20% higher than the other HVs we Shop at.Clean it up guys

Prices are higher than some other places (Aldis, for example), but they have a wide selection and good meat, cheese and seafood departments with dedicated staff for these. Their stores are clean and decently organized. Its not the luxury experience that high-price-point junkies get from Target or Whole Foods or whathaveyou, but its not bad.

Selection good. Sackers could do with a lesson in sacking items correctly.

HyVee has excellent produce. Even if you dont buy anything else at Hyvee, the higher price is well worth it for the best fresh fruits and vegetables. I also really appreciate how the deli will let you sample a meat or cheese if you want to so you can see if you like it before you decide to buy it.And the free bananas for kids under 12 is an awesome idea too! Love it!

Wow!! There really was a helpful smile in every aisle. Kind of freaked me out cause I dont get that at the other grocerers.

Clean, well run supermarket regional chain. Products range somewhat between stores. Good gluten free and spirits sections. Helpful and friendly.

This has always been my favorite hy-vee! Everyone is always so helpful and smiling.

Called ahead and asked if they provided a service, confirmed twice that they did in fact. Show up less than 30 minutes later and am told they in fact do not while the 15 year old punk who told me otherwise cowers behind the higher up. Maybe they dont need to hire every child who applies.

Sale items have been well stocked when Ive visited, but they havent had a couple other items that I was after that I wouldve thought they would.

We love our neighborhood HyVee. It does need expanding and the parking is tough to navigate on days when the crowds are bigger. The staff are awesome!

Everything is always fresh and a good variety

This hyvee is about 3rd on my list of hyvees that are the best, i was trying to receive some help and a very sweet girl was more than willing and happy to tend to my needs.

I could easily give this store A5 but some things are Beyond the storage control like food pricing but this Hy-Vee is close to my home and Suits all of my needs friendly courteous service always and they do go out of their way to satisfy if they can.

The employees are courteous and helpful if you need directions to something you want. Theres usually sales going on and otherwise they have decent prices.

Hy Vee is always clean and well stocked. The first Wednesday of each month is Wacky Wednesday - cram as much as you can into a paper bag and get 10% off! I stack items like Tetris above the bag, creating a Leaning Tower of Groceries, and they dont fuss about it. Great!

Conveniently located by CVS, Fareway, Goodwill, Marion Tire, Marion YMCA, Marion USPS, and a Route 20 bus stop. Comes with a Starbucks, located at the front of the store next to Produce. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Went to cash a payroll check and had to wait 20 min to get it cleared so if you want to get your check cashed quickly I recommend that you visit walmart its under 5min so your in and out

This is a superstore location. Auto gas sold on site, inside deli, meat, bakery, florist, bank, drycleaners, the whole nine yards. Cleanliness is impeccable as with any Hy-Vee, strict dress code in place. This is the end all off grocers. Great value and prices.

This is a nice grocery store to have close to home. They dont quite have everything but they have most of what you might need for cooking.

They almost always have what youre looking for. They always have a pleasant attitude and are always willing to go out of their way to help in any way they can.

All of the employees are very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is always pleasurable.
