Only true toy store in the area, but now closing. Ive noticed more traffic since the announcement and, more purchasing, even though the prices are closer to standard prices you find elsewhere. Its a low four-star rating, but could be a solid four, if ToysRUs would have realized that to stay competitive they should have figured out a plan to match prices with other online retailers. Obviously an overhead factor, but with manufacturers having a window in these stores, they had an edge. Just not with prices.

Store is having some good sales since theyre closing but the shelves are not always stocked, so you have to keep going back to find what youre looking for. Staff has always been helpful and friendly.

Great buys!! Location in Marion, IL is going out of business!! Entire stock is 50% or more off original prices that I saw. I purchased a ride on toy original price $39.99 for $19.99, also a Fisher Price Tea Set original price $19.99 for $9.98. Thats just 2 examples of the great values. There was plenty of mechandise still on the shelves if you wanted to early Christmas shop and take advantage to save some Big Bucks!! Final Day I believe is June 26!

Wide variety of toys, games, ex... But a littler higher here them other places. Dont visit too often because of that. Bit, great place to walk around and get ideas for Christmas presents and Birthday Gifts.

The prices are alot higher than other retailers. Prices ring incorrect. Store is dingy. We were buying a Lego set that had been marked down. It rang at the higher rate. I went and pulled the tag off the shelf to verify it was really marked down and it was the right set. It was. The cashier called the manager to change the price. Manager told us it was incorrect and threw the tag in the trash. We were asked if we still wanted it. Nope, Ill buy it online at another retailer, thanks. And I did. It arrived in two days and I paid $7.99 with free shipping instead of the marked down $9.99 or the $19.99 you wanted me to pay. If you are wondering why people are buying online instead of your store, I suggest secret shoppers and competent managers.

They seem to have a problem with relaying information correctly. Not a bad store but they dont know their own policies. They will tell you one thing on the phone & then act like youre crazy for asking them to follow through on what they offered when youre at the store.

Store was hot. Dont have small baskets to carry. Always have to get a cart or carry your items.

Selection could be better, the staff follows you around the store as if you were stealing. kinda dirty feeeling. but my son loves Toys R Us so we go when we have to

Bought my son a set of skates recently with the 30% off for his birthday, we had a party at a skating rink hence buying the skates. Opened up the box and the only items in the box were the skates and helmet. It was supposed to have wrist guards and knee pads too, and of course since they are closing I cant even get my money back. Big waste of $30 + dollars. Rip offs, be sure to check the product before you purchase!

Close out sales. Another icon of a shopping era gone bye, bites the dust. This store still has plenty to sell. An employee told me that they are discounting a portion of the store every week on wednesdays. No clue what part of the business or how much. Due to close between April 31st to may 15th. Also, apparently the warehouses are about half full for the company. So go run, now run fast. Get the deals while they last. Most of all dont forget, let an employee there k ow that you care all of them are losing their jobs and that we wont forget the after the dust settles.

Friendly staff, my son had fun at the birthday party with Geoffrey, however, they were out of birthday balloons and his $3 off coupon didnt work. Basically he heard a story with Geoffrey, got his picture taken by me and received a birthday crown.

Employees were polite and helpful. Great selection, clean given the Christmas season. Prices were competive against Target and Amazon.

Excellent choices you cant find other places, tons of art supplies also (at good prices). Cool teenager stuff too (robotics, electronics, etc.)

I am not very happy with Marion IL Toys R US. We bought a bicycle and it was all scratched up. Now that happens, however when we returned it; the only one available was the floor model. That was fine with us. However the Manager wanted to charge us an extra $10 after all our trouble we went through of returning it; because the floor model was already assembled.

Waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to expensive they have things here 30$ more than Walmart. Cant do it. But friendly customer service they were really nice to my 3 year old

This store is located in front of the mall in marion. It has alot of in stock toys. Store is always clean, staff is friendly but scarce. I do recommend here before buying online, they will price match.

Kids love it, have toys you cant find at times, some are pricey.

Such a shame theyre closing, but its no surprise. Staff is rude and prices are outrageous.

Its ok for what it is. Its become the norm to not have the toys advertised. Why even bother advertizing them, except to get us in only to be dissapointed.

The 10% off going out of business sale isnt much compared to other stores and doesnt include diapers, wipes, or formula. Not very good service.

High rating because going out of business and everything is 30-50% off. It was mid day, but only one lane open to check people out, when there was a line, and other people just walking around.

It is no longer open. Corporate greed caused this once great store implode. I suppose online shopping for kids will be the way to go now

It was truly part of a lot of our childhoods and its a shame to see this chain going out of business they had some great deals on a few weeks ago when I was there and it really did hurt to see it emptying out and getting ready to close its doors.

Selection sucks. Prices are high. Employees are mostly friendly. They will price match identical product from certain other stores with proof.

The sales are usually good, the downside to this store is unorganized staff and not enough to help. I can never get help, I ask for it...but no one shows up to the department Im needing help on.
