They have Parts in their store but they never have parts then I need or want. Then half the time that Ive ordered from them when they got the parts back theyve gave me the wrong parts. The other half the time when I finally have got the parts in they will wait until a day later after they get the parts to even contact me to let me know that the parts are in. So in other words theyre pretty worthless they dont want to pick up the phone to call people back to let them know that their parts are in or equipment and I really need to find a different company to deal with

The service department is literally unable to change a tire. Serious, they told me the can’t do it and send them somewhere else. I have a compact tractor, 3025e. They sell all the big stuff there. This is mind blowingly useless for a service department! Oh all I needed was the bees seated and pumped up.
I have been trying to BUY a new 1025r with a bucket and a grapple for three weeks now from the Marion Ohio location, they have a grapple in there South Carolina location but they dont want to have it shipped here because they have to pay for shipping, are you kidding me??? literally lose a sale over shipping costs that can literally be absorbed inter company. When I call for sales I get transferred every time to a ringing unanswered phone with the exception of one time. I already have a quote ready to buy but they act like its a bother for them to deal with a customer, I am extremely shocked at this type of customer service. I have already called twice today to only be transferred with no answer. GUYS I WANT TO BUY A TRACTOR!!!! If this is the type of service I will be getting in the future with a John Deere tractor from this location I will be going after work today to purchase a Kubota tractor WHAT A SHAME. Lets get this resolved positively
They didnt have the hydraulic hose I needed, but they were able to make one for me. Great service, and was nice to get what I needed right then and there.

Found them incredibly rude when trying to get information on a couple used pieces of equipment. Not willing to provide much detail ECT. Sale guy didnt seem to care.

Hi, I recently took a scag mower to John Deere for repair. The belt and belt switch were both bad. When I took it in nothing was wrong with the engine yeah it had a lot of hours on it, but still ran like a charm before I got it BACK. Now I know an engine can go out at anytime and that is not their fault. But when I got it back the first time I go to put the throttle fully down to start cutting and it cuts out never had this problem before and even when I started it up at the store to take it back it cut off, but I did not think anything of it. So I took it back to them. At this point I’m kind of upset because I would have figured they would have checked the engine or would have known something was wrong with it while it was being repaired. That’s just good customer service I think? Anyway, I take it back and they say that the engine is blown and needs replaced, well now I want my money back because it costed $200 to put on parts I didn’t even use. I tried to work with them to give me something back, like take the parts off and give me the money for the parts, but they didn’t work with me on anything. Plus they never gave me updates on the situation either I always had to call them and they made me feel like they didn’t even care. So I basically got a broken mower back from them granted it had a lot of hours on it but it worked fine like I said before I took it in. Anyway, they end saying they won’t work with me on anything so I got not one cent back. I feel like they basically scammed me out of $200 and they really are not in it to help people but to take “your”( the consumers) money. I own a local lawn care business here in town and I would not recommend anyone to take their mower here to get repairs based on the experience I had with them. There are far better service departments around Marion that actually care for their customers and help you if you have a problem. So I’m very disappointed with the service department at John Deere here in Marion. I think there needs to be some improvement especially with how they handled my situation and hopefully they can change their ways. Otherwise I do not recommend this place for service and repair.
Hay All, Bigjohn here. I have been coming to John Deere for equipment and parts for years. I have found the folks here at JD Equipment in Marion Ohio the most helpful and the very most friendly people I have worked with in keeping my John Deere equipment running. I am a do it yourself person. So when I get parts they give me a drawing on how it goes back together very helpful. I have been in customer service business for over 47 years and again these folks are the greatest. I brought in mower blades to be sharpen and they took a mechanic off a job for 5 minutes and sharpen them right then. My daughter and granddaughter are both auto mechanics and I hope they learn this great customer service. You all have a GREAT Day!
The several members of the parts staff helped me get the parts I needed to fix our JD GT235 18 hp Briggs and Stratton engine. My wife and I like how it runs nice and smooth again. The engine no longer puffs out black smoke and fuel efficiency has nearly doubled. It mows effortlessly again.

Here is a company that is doing it right! They called about a transmission recall for my John Deere lawn mower. They picked up the mower and when they brought it back, it was spotless! They replaced the transmission and cleaned it up. Thank you!!!

When I bought my first house, I also had to buy my first lawnmower. I bought a rider (X300) from the Marion store and have loved it. Not only is the mower a great mower, but the customer service is outstanding. Every spring I pop in the store to get the supplies for routine maintenance and the staff look up my mower in their system and get everything I need for the year.
Went to have my zero turn checked out to see why it wasnt cutting the whole deck, the service man found the issue very quick. Instead of asking me if I wanted to take it home and fix it myself, they literally unbolted 1 screw and fixed the issue and re-bolted the screw...then turned around and charged me $32.00 for 30 seconds of work...not happy
Good source of mower parts
I was very shock with ag pro in marion ohio I spent almost 20.000 dollars there and my still chainsaw blew up and it was only use 1 season and they wouldnt do nothing for me the manager just argue with me and I walk out I will never go back

Drove 700 miles for a X350 mower.Katelynn was very professional. Explaned all the features of the mower. She even went above and beyond and help load it.

Service has my mower and they are not communicating with me. I called for the service manager and he is off the next two days. The service advisor said I need to talk to him. I called for the general manager twice and he never returned my call. Very poor communication from their service department.

Prior to going, we called to ask questions about a used utv. Lady was very nice and informative. I asked if the price was firm, and she indicated that they do come down on things. After arriving, and checking the utv, which had a flat tire and a dead battery, we were able to look it over. It was jump started so we could drive it. The lady we spoke with on the phone was out for lunch, and we ended up with the manager, we think. If he fixed the flat, and put in a new battery...if...which we believed would be the normal course of bisiness, he would come down $95, on a utv that was advertised for $3895. He would consider nothing else. He had it for two months, and it was not JD. We felt that he could have negotiated a bit better. We offered $3700, and he had no intetest at all. The call we made prior to going, indicated a much kinder attitude towards negotiating. The man did not know the year of the utv, and had no intetest in finding out. We left, frustrated and disappointed with the entire experience.
