Bought a used bike, when test driving noticed rotors were warped and a few other small problems. Was told would be fixed before I came to get bike. Came 3 WEEKS later to get bike and they hadnt even washed it. Nothing fixed so I took home and they scheduled me and appointment to have it actually checked over. Been their another 2 weeks now and just got a call saying they got parts in but wont get it back together till fri. Made my 1st payment 2 days ago and havent had the bike a week in my possession. Sales were great but service sucks. Should have bought somewhere else.

Took my 21 sport glide in for first service and got it back 2 quarts low on oil and sensors left unplugged

Well always have taken my bikes here even tho it is hour and half drive for me but now be looking for new dealer took my 02 heritage there with wiring problem said wanted if fixed and speedo working well after having it for month final called said it purrs like a kitten so get it home well wont stay running and speedo still dont work so called talked to couple guys there and they said thought was just to get it to crank and start ok so what about be able to ride it. So guess paid that money now going to take it somewhere else to finish it

I went in looking for winter gloves first no ask me if I need help plus 95 dollar for winter gloves is to high of a price I ended up going across the street to pilot truck stop and got winter waterproof gloves for $15

I can not say enough about Black Diamond Harley Davidson and Shad Zimbro. Most recently I was diagnosed with Covid. Unlike some, I took a very serious turn for the worse and ended up in ICU for fourteen days.I have had several Harleys in my life, but sold my last one seven years ago.While in ICU I realized my love for riding and decided to purchase another Harley. I got in touch with Shad and informed him what I was looking for. He took the time to listen and found exactly what I wanted. He gave me a great deal and we agreed on the purchase while I was in ICU.When I finally left the hospital and returned home I contacted him and told him I was home and would like to finalize the purchase. He rode the bike to my home and parked it in my garage.To Shad, it was not the sale of the Harley that was important, it was how I was doing.There is no question why Black Diamond is so successful.You will not regret a purchase from Black Diamond. Don’t know why they call it the service department?I had none. They had my bike for two months for a cutting out issue. Every time I called I always got a different excuse. Was even told they was writing a letter to the owner to get my bike done. NothingCalled them finally 3/27 9:30 am guy told me they was getting an estimate ready and call me back in 2 hours. 24 hours later still no call so I went over and picked my bike up brought it home. Sam finally gave me the estimate of $1500.00. Sorry Sam. Don’t know if it was because I’m from Mo or what but will never do business here again

I love this place. It is a great place to hang out, well clean and organized, service is killer. I do not like anyone touching my bike besides myself but their service is very competitive and the bike comes back better than when I brought it in. A couple of bucks saved is not worth doing it myself and then dealing with the waste.Check out their events calendar and the cool thing is, I feel safe taking my son their because the atmosphere. I just wish they didnt like their music so loud so I could think. But highly recommended.I hope the staff reads this because they have been wonderful ever time I go in. Service and parts have been very helpful. The girls are very kind as well. I took my mom and dad in recently and as we walked in and one of the girls called my sons name and off they went so we could shop. They have had my bike at least 10 days I brought it in for an estimate for repair after an car motorcycle collision. Buds HD wrote a$17,000 estimate I thought it was high now you have it and can find no damage. What the hell is going on. I told y’all the estimate was in the tour pack now I’m told that I should have left it for you, look in the tour pack, how can that be missed when you’re doing an estimate, it’s the only thing in there, I want my F N bike back.

On July 18 my 2008 ultra classic wouldnt start after I stopped for fuel in West Frankfort IL. I contacted black diamond Harley and they sent someone out to pick my bike up and bring it back to their shop. The service manager asked me what the bike was doing and I explained it to him. I also told him that I was from the Chicago area and that we had a long drive down to Nashville and back home and to make sure they fixed it rite. I sat in the service area with my group and we waited. After approximately three hours they came and told me that it was an electrical issue and the battery needed replacing and they cleaned up some corroded wires. Never once mentioning the starter that seemed to be grinding on and off. After assuring me that the problem was fixed I jumped on my bike and was off again. We drive approximately 150 miles and got off of exit one on I24 in Clarksville Tennessee. We stopped for fuel and when I went to start my bike guess what same problem! So once again I find myself having to have a friend who lives in Columbia Tennessee drive 90 miles and trailer my bike to moonshine Harley Davidson in Columbia. The tech I dealt with the actually took the time to really talk with me to get a better idea of what was going on. He then told me that my starter was going bad and once he replace that he would go over the bike. After replacing the starter he discovered that the bike was losing fuel pressure once the bike was shut off. He pinpointed the problem to an o ring inside the fuel tank that went into the fuel filter assembly was leaking causing the problem. He said odds are that my old battery was fine and probably didnt need replacing. Bike has been running great ever since. Would I recommend black diamond Harley? Probably not! Seems to me they have be techs there that aint qualified to do there jobs the way that they should.

Bought a 2006 Road King, and immediately began having issues with it. After a month of back and forth, they finally decided to trade me out of it. I traded out for a much more expensive 2014 Road King. Shortly after I was involved in a hit-and-run accident and needed to get it fixed. When I dropped it off they estimated 1 month to fix it. I waited that month, and when I contacted them they were still waiting on a saddlebag lower to arrive. I told them to repair it without it and I would come back when it arrived. Service manager said it would go on a lift. I called a week later, and it was still not started. He fed me some BS and said it would be put on a lift. I waited another week called. The service manager said that he still hasnt even looked at the bike, and it wasnt started. He guaranteed me it would be on a lift by that Wednesday. On that Wednesday I confirmed it was on a lift and they had started on it. I was quoted 14 hours of labor to fix it. I checked in on Friday of that week, and they were 5 hours into the job. Monday I went in to check on it, and they had been waiting for other small parts to arrive, but they had them in and the tech would start again on Tuesday. I called on Wednesday, and the service manager tells me that there are other jobs on the techs schedule and it would be the next week. He then tells me that he had just put my bike on the schedule for that Friday because the techs schedule was open. Why was the tech not scheduled on my bike already? They seem to be dropping work on my bike for anything else they can be working on that comes in. I will never spend another penny at this dealer. Theyll work hard to sell you a bike, but after that they dont care.

This dealership has 5 star quality. Whether its from the sales people, to the parts department, or to the service department. Everyone here is genuinely kind and really care. This is by far the best dealership I have ever went to and Ill gladly continue doing business with these great group of people for many years to come.

Great place to buy a Harley-Davidson, the owners are childhood friends that came from average families and realized their dream. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that doesnt resort to high pressure sales tactics. I bought a Street Glide here a few years ago and will definitely buy a new Ultra Limited from them. I could go on and on about how great this place is but you need to stop by and see for yourself.

The girls at front desk at 10:30am on Monday, March 11th were wonderful. I brought in my son and they were so nice to him. Usually when I bring my baby places we get looked at when he gets upset, when he got upset here, the ladys played with him and made him feel better. I bought a bunch of poker chips and the ladys were great. Thank you for the wonderful customer service.

I am always recognized within a few minutes every time I enter Black Diamond. Throughout the years of dealing with Black Diamond they are as courteous and familial with my children/family and guests as they are with me. I have bought numerous Harleys from Black Diamond and am loyal to them as the sales and service I receive from them is top-notch from the cashiers to the sales personnel to everyone in between all the way to the #1, the owner Shad. This is why I refuse to go to any other Harley dealership and my loyalty is 100% to Black Diamond.

We went out riding this weekend and pulled into a rest area because I could feel my battery box hot and could smell acid boiling from it. I have been a mechanic all my life and know about these things. We were out side Marion, Illinois so, we had to get to town to fix it. We come across BLACK DIAMOND Harley Davidson Dealership in Marion Illinois and I ask if a mechanic could look at it. We pushed the bike around because it wouldnt start. The mechanic and I could smell the strong smell of acid and he said it was the just the battery. I asked them to put a new battery in and to check the voltage being put out, because if a battery is boiling over, the voltage is wrong. He put a new battery in and didnt check the voltage even though he could smell acid. They put a $141.00 battery in and sent me on my way. 200 miles down the road the battery was so hot and it had a very strong smell of acid again and then the bike made a loud pop and died. I had to get it back to town and have another mechanic look at it. He said the regulator was putting out AC current and not DC current which, BLACK DIAMOND should of caught! It cost me for Another battery, a regulator, head and tail lamps, a day down from riding & labor. It burned out my head and tail lamp due to the wrong voltage, which BLACK DIAMOND should of caught! Cost to me was $350.00 I called the BLACK DIAMOND dealership to see if they could make it right in some way and the dealership took the mechanics side and was beating around the bush with me. I am not happy with the Quality of Workmanship, Quality of Service or the way they are trying to make me out a liar! Very Unprofessional! I would not go to or recommend this dealership to any one. It might have a 1000 great reviews but, its the BAD reviews that people will remember. I will contact the Harley Davidson Head Quarters! Thanks for a bad weekend! Today I inquired about 2006 Harley-Davidson® VRSCR - Street Rod™ as internet not showing the price, upon checking with sales person - they say $5900 and upon asking take away price including delivery - $8023 total. (for 415 miles delivery - $700?) and no explanation even asking twice.- total $8023.I will not recommending these HD store. If you - best luck.

2 guys needed to swap motorcycles but they were 14 hours apart. Instead of one guy drying the whole way, we drove toward each other and met in the middle, at Black Diamond HD. I called the day prior to ask if I could use their loading ramp and Jen in service said yes, come on down. So today at noon, one guy from Atlanta and myself from sabetha ks, meet in Marion to do the swap. Jen was just as nice in person and their ramp out back was prefect. I grabbed a t shirt from the store to say thanks and headed back to Dorothys state! Thanks Black Diamond HD and thanks Jen!

Bought a new fat boy from them in 2010. After they dented my rear fender without telling me and expected me to ride it away without seeing it. Next after new they put new handlebars on it they hooked my signal lights up backwards. The next time after servicing it the detail guy hosed down my screaming eagle air filter. It was dripping with water. That was 3 strikes and their out .I havent done any business there since 2010. I go to Paducah or order on line . There are other Harley mechanics in the area that have opened their own shops.
