Im leaving a 2-star review because I had one positive experience with UNRC and a recent negative experience.The first time I came to UNRC was on a weekend and there was one worker there - he was really nice and accommodating. I was mostly there to test the chairs I was interested in but didnt end up buying because they didnt have my desired model in my price range. Overall, he was really understanding and apologized to me which I thought was really nice of him to say, even though it was my fault I couldnt find a chair I wantedI came back about a month later to test some more chairs and looking to buy if the price was within my budget. There was a different person (Im going to assume the owner) in charge of the shop and he asked me if I wanted to test or test/buy. I said I wanted to test/buy, which was my mistake because I wasnt entirely sure I was going to buy the chair before I tested it and heard the price.The representative was really helpful and answered all my questions. However, after testing the chair and hearing the prices, I found it didnt match some of the deals I had found myself and decided against the purchase. He was helping another customer and came to check up on me and asked if I had made a decision. I said I was going to sleep on it and thats where it went downhill.After I said this, he said Im going to have to ask you to leave, because we dont have loitering to which I understood, but he later added ...And you were being dishonest. I asked you if you wanted to test or if you wanted test and buy, and you said test and buy to which I was shocked and dumbfounded, I didnt know what to say. He added Its okay, but I knew you werent going to buy the second you walked in.I do understand where hes coming from, but my intentions were not to loiter and waste his time, I did intend to buy a chair if it was in my price range, but I felt after talking to him about warranty and everything did not compete with buying from the manufacturer itself. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I surmise that he must have a lot of people come in to test chairs without the intention to buy, which may negatively affect his sales, but seeing as there was not a lot of people in the store at the time, (maybe about one more group of customers) I didnt think I was taking up too much of his time.Im sorry it had to end in such a negative experience, but I do not believe I can positively reccomend this place to someone who is looking to test a chair without buying, of if you are, let your intentions be known upfront unlike I did or else the owner will not respond kindly.

Thank you to Arbe and his partner for an amazing experience when deciding on a chair. He was an outgoing guy and easy to talk to. I did not feel pressured into making an immediate decision. Not all pre-owned office furniture places are created equal. This place is top notch with a wide selection of makes and models. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and everything looked like they were practically brand-new!I had done my research, I knew what I wanted and I found my Herman Miller Aeron here. Online, most people were selling beat-up or refurbished Aeron Classics. Finding a Remastered Aeron at a great price is near impossible. Not so at UNRC. Arbe (my sales contact) was very helpful from my first phone call until I walked out with my Aeron. There were no pressure tactics and they even tried to encourage me to consider a cheaper chair (based on my seating needs). I was pretty shocked but it showed me that they were not just about trying to flip high-price items, but getting you into the right chair.I can’t say enough good things about my experience with UNRC and would highly recommend talking to either Arbe or Chuck. Both great guys and won’t steer you wrong. Will be back for my next chair for sure!

Pretty sad and disappointing experience. Treated with hostility by the store staff.I entered the store and asked the representative/owner, if I could look at and compare a few well-known chairs (ie. CXO, Leap, Aeron). I also asked him if he had any new products (2021) rather than semi-new, pre-owned 2019 models. However, he responded rather abrasively by telling me to leave and that I should know that chair manufacturers dont directly sell to office stores (as if somehow, I shouldve known how Steelcase and Herman Miller negotiate with office stores?) and that I was supposedly only visiting his store so I can try out the goods and purchase them online.Im sorry, but if their service representatives just told me: We currently dont allow customers to sit in chairs for reasons X, Y, Z, then I wouldve been fine with that. Instead I got a hostile tirade about how Im trying to screw them over by wanting to look and sit for 10 seconds in an ergonomics focused chair before spending up to $1000 dollars lol. Either way, I was seriously considering spending my money on a Steelcase Leap V2 there, but considering the way I was treated (and told to leave while in mid-consideration), I think Ill go somewhere else...Note to the owners: Not all customers are here to screw you over. Some of us just legitimately want to inspect the build quality and feel of a product in-person before deciding they want to purchase it for almost $1000 after-tax.EDIT (Response to Owners):Sorry, but at no time did I say that I only came to the store, to checkout the showroom and buy the product somewhere else. I bought a Steelcase Leap V2 from UNRC at the beginning of covid. Chair was clean and in decent condition. 14 months into my purchase the seat height adjustment of the chair broke.While I thought I had 5 years warranty, turns out the specific failed part was only covered for 1 year.Nevertheless, I took the chair back, UNRC fixed my chair and didnt charge me.

Only visit this store if you want to be insulted. The older staff was so rude and mad. Firstly he was not happy hearing my budget, he should know if my budget was higher I would have bought new furniture. I still kept calm and then when I finalized a desk. I requested him to show me one piece other than the display one to make sure I get the best price with less dent and scratches to which he got mad and started shouting and made rude and mean comments. Also when I asked for delivery his colleague mentioned 25 dollars since the address of delivery was quite close but then he quoted 50$ and was mad about his colleague mentioning 25$.I have never experienced such customer service. Never going back again.

I reached out to UNRC after seeing their website. I was contacted by e-mail and immediately through phone call to look into their chairs. I couldnt come into their warehouse since it is in Markham, but I highly impressed with Chucks thorough explanation and directions on which chair to buy.Initially, I wanted a Herman Miller chair. Chuck provided me with a lot of knowledge on the best chair to buy, and I ended up going with a Steelcase Leap V2. I was very happy with the chair, it is in extremely great condition. Fabric, plastic base and parts, wheels, everything was immaculate (you cant even tell it was used). Until I noticed on the second day it was making weird squeaking noises at the slightest movement. Unfortunately, I couldnt physically bring the chair in for them to fix/inspect it as I didnt have a car.Chuck and Arbe helped me and agreed to pick up and chair and provide a full refund instead. Since their purchases are final sale, they went above and beyond to accommodate and make this work with me. I really appreciate how attentive they are and immediately actioned on my issues.I highly recommend them for lightly used designer office chairs, you will get an incredible deal and great customer service. We came to the conclusion that the stand up desk would be my best option. Luckily they had a corner desk in stock. I really enjoyed my time here. I had a great experience at UNRC Office Furniture with Arbe and his coworker. Similar to many other reviews I just read, they are very customer satisfaction oriented. They both took time to understand my needs, made suggestions according to my specs and were not overbearing or salesy.I bought a Haworth chair, took it home and discovered the forward tilt was not working. Called Arbe, he told me to bring it in. The next day I took it in, confirmed the issue with them and a replacement was offered immediately, no push-back or anything of the sort.They were helpful, honest and friendly. I would recommend anyone looking for good office furniture, to visit them.

My wife and I wanted to buy ergonomic office chair for working from home, and I had few ones in my mind before coming to UNRC. The owner introduced several good choices and let us try, and we eventually bought a Steelcase Leap. We found there was a problem with the gas cylinder the that night and we called UNRC. They gave an exchange the next day, with no questions asked. Everything was steam cleaned and checked. I do believe the owner cares a lot about his customers and I experienced exceptional service from this purchase. I would definitely come back again in the near future.

Purchased a Steelcase chair a couple months ago to deal with WFH for extended periods of time. They were very helpful in answering my questions, and did so without being pushy or overbearing. They have a wide selection of chairs that were in pretty solid condition. Definitely a place to check out, if you are considering purchasing a used chair.

I did a lot of research to find out the what the best ergonomic chairs were. I found out it was either the Steelcase Leap or the Herman Miller Aeron. However these chairs retail for over $1300! I decided to find a used one for a fraction of the cost. I did a google search and came across the 2 models at UNRC. After testing them both out, I ended up getting the Steelcase Leap. It was used but in great condition and even provided a warranty. Amazing service and great price. The guys who were working were really helpful and knowledgeable. So glad I came here!

David was the person I first met. Later I spoke with Arbe, and he then gave me a quote, and offered to bring them in so we can test it at our office. They brought them exactly when they promised they would. The chairs and cabinets were here for a couple of days which made it so much easier and convenient for us to decide.After exploring our other options with other companies I still went back to them because they were offering a much better service, price, flexibility, not even comparable to other companies. They were quick in responding and delivering. Very professional.I definitely would recommend them to everyone. I purchased a lightly used, fully loaded remastered Herman Miller Aeron chair from UNRC via Kijiji and the beginning of my interaction with them through to delivery was a painless process. They communicated clearly and answered all my questions fairly quickly. The communication around the coordination of delivery took a bit longer than I’d hoped, but entirely forgivable given the COVID-19 conditions we are all adapting to. When the chair was delivered, it was on time when they said it would be, and in great condition. Very happy overall!

An exceptional experience!I was looking for cubicles and I found UNRC on the web. After calling them and a brief conversation I was directed to take the measurements of my space along with a couple of pictures and send it to them. Within a couple of hours I had a couple of floor plans and a handful of cubicle options. I chose what I liked, made the purchase and paid over the phone on my credit card.
