I did an online pick up at the Marlton, NJ location. We live over an hour away from the store and their online service boasts 1hr pickup. When we arrived at the store I had not received the e-mail stating my 1 item was ready for pickup. Again. I live over an hour from the location. No big deal at first. We went in the store to use the restrooms. They were completely closed with the explanation they were being cleaned. Fine. We left the store and grabbed something to eat. Still no e-mail. After waiting considerably longer than the boasted 1hr pick up my fiancé went into the store to see what was up with the 1 item. The employee and female assistant store manager were exceptionally rude to him. I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again. I will ensure everyone I know purchases from somewhere other than Staples, and yes I am aware the impact will not be huge but this is on principle now. He did not walk into the store with an attitude but was instantly met with one. They were not busy. There was no need for the attitude he received trying to pick up 1 ITEM.

The print area is designed to be self service but it rarely works out that way. Today I sent the email as instructed per their machine and the system never responded with a print code as its supposed to. I asked the employee that was working the print area for help and she said “this is the only way we can get the document.” I know this is a lie because the last time I had a problem the associate gave me the direct store email address and printed it off for me from her computer terminal after I sent my document to her. I guess the person I dealt with today didn’t feel like doing it. Oh well.

I went to the staples three days ago. There’s a sign on the check out that says due to the national corn shortage please pay an exact change or credit card. I did not have exact change and wanted to pay in cash. The cashier pointed out the sign and said I have no choice, no change so you can round up from $32.68 to $33. OK in the beginning of Covid there was a change shortage I no longer see signs, this is the first one I seen in months. That being said almost every other place either absorb the difference between what change you had or absorb the whole difference. I think that if you’re going to do business you should have some change available. Won’t be going back there!

Poor customer service. Stopped in at 2pm on a Saturday-they had one person working. I asked the cashier if anyone else was working, he said he was going to call someone to help. 10min later I walked out. In this age of online shopping, one of the only ways live stores can compete is offering good, if not great, customer service. This store does not deliver-shop elsewhere.

Poor experience at the printing section of the store. I tried on multiple devices to print but it would fail each time. The associate was no help. She gave me the impression that asking for her help was the biggest inconvenience to her. She told me to use one of the rental computers; she couldnt do anything else. Disappointing effort on her part.

Its a good standard retail. Im pretty happy about their hours. They open long enough on the weekends. I really like the people who work there. Theyre funny and willingly attentive. Im very lucky to be so close.

I liked it here. Josh I believe his name is (a white gentleman) is a very informative and knowledgeable employee. Gave me great information about computer systems and programs. Anyone shopping there should ask for him.

Great service and friendly staff. A gentleman helped me pick the right printer based on my needs, and a women printed my job a day earlier, since I was in a bind. I highly recommend this location, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I went here to get a picture photocopied and scanned as a high quality TIFF file as so not to lose any quality to the scanning process. While the two prints I received look ok, the scanned file was a compressed PDF of my picture. The file is much worse quality than the original. I even saw the employee select the TIFF option on the computer so I dont know what happened.I am definitely never returning to this location or probably another Staples ever again after this ordeal.

I was in Staples looking for a screen protector for my galaxy s8 plus, could not find what I was looking for when a gentleman who worked there sold me on some treatment they do to the screen. He said he has it on his phone and when dry it was just under the hardness of diamonds. What BS it only took a weekend for my screen to get several deep scratches. Dont be talked into this treatment it is a joke. It doesnt protect anything. Mostly mad at myself for being talked into ridiculous coating. Waste of money and now I have scratches on screen!

Terrible customer service. 12/23/2015 -> I called the store to inquire about whether or not a product was in stock, George put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called again to inquire, Martha picked up. I was polite and patient, and Martha was completely rude for seemingly no reason. It seemed like she wasnt listening to what item I was asking for (despite me giving her a Staples item #), and instead was frustrated by the differences in the items that we were looking up. Staples management needs to change something or screen their hiring process..

Would have been a 5-Star rating had the staff not placed the custom order, called me that it was in, and when I arrived to pick up the item, they handed me an empty box for a higher end fountain pen as a gift I was giving - That Night!|Customer service is horrible, management at this location is the worst and corporate lost a lifelong customer and all my business for dropping the ball so ineptly.
