My experience at this vision center was awesome! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I went here to pick out glasses with my teenage son. Everyone that assisted us contributed to making this a painless experience. This only reason I didnt leave 5 stars is because the office mailed me the notification that his glasses were ready instead of calling me. My son couldve had his glasses on a Monday instead of Friday with a simple phone call. Still all in all I highly recommend this location and will definitely be going back.
The staff & doctor there are Extremely Wonderful!! Worked with my 90 yr old mother with dementia and treated her like she was their family member, hard to find professionals that do that these days! I personally have always had great service and find that they bend over backwards to accommodate each person and their needs!! Once my sugar was dropping low unexpectedly (Im type 1 diabetic) and they went over & above to get me some sugar and make sure I was okay before theyd let me leave. Reccomend them Highly!!
I stopped going after hearing the eye doctor and another associate laughing at a patients weight from her exam room. She heard her say it too and looked so crushed. I wish I could say that was the first time but it was not. This is the type of behavior one would expect from a child. Not an eye doctor. Fyi we can hear you pretty well from the exam room.
Scheduled eye appointments for our whole family dang near 2 weeks ago. They wait until the day before to call and tell us they need to change them because the dr that is in tomorrow doesnt accept my insurance (we have vsp and iowa total care). I said well vsp is our main insurance anyway so just use that. She then tells me well we have to run iowa total care first then vsp. No lady you dont you run the main insurance first according to the state. Stupid.
Associate Donna gets 5 stars! However, my last experience I felt I was being pushed into purchasing way high end lenses with all the options. Felt like I was trying to buy a new car! Even tho I do require certain type of lens for my prescription, (not the most expensive) I would have liked to have had this explained. Also I dont require all the additional cost options. About swallowed my tongue at an estimate up towards $700. Do Vision Center Associates work on commission?!Except for some rather extended wait times and a couple negative reports Ive heard from others to the contrary, I guess theyre ok.Like everywhere, caveat emptor!
No communication, waiting while everyone sit around. Just unhappy with everything smh. They need to manage their time better
Front desk service was terrible. Was told to fill out information and wasnt given any papers. I didnt see a doctor until an hour after my appointment was supposed to be scheduled, because a walk-in was seen before I was. The rest of the staff was very helpful n friendly.
Gave me cheaper mens frames instead of the ones I picked.
Worst place to get glasses. They were more worried about socializing with eachother than they were about helping their customers. Had to go there twice once in the morning for my mothers eye appt and the other to pay for her frames. First time i went there. They were running late to get to work and of course they had to socialize with eachother b4 they could help us so her 900 apt turned into a 930 apt. The second time I went to cash register told them I was just there to pay my moms bill. Lady said have a sit I will be right with u. Right after I sat down she decided to go to lunch and leave me sit there. So I sat for 20 mins so I walked back up to cash register another staff asked what I needed I told her same thing she said have a sit I will be right with you 15 mins later still no help she was too busy showing pics of something on her phone to other people that were walking by. The only staff member there that seemed to be doing her job was Donna so thank you Donna for working while you are at work. So if you have to go and donnas not working you may as well leave!!
