Always good, been around a long time still as good as I remember. Also was impressed, the young gentlemen that gave me my change he counted it back to me the correct way, you dont she that anymore.

Best place in Marshalltown for soft serve, they only lose a star because the entryway where you order is honestly pretty dirty and they don’t take plastic. I once had to write a check for like $2.50 to buy an ice cream cone lol. But their prices are great, portions generous and service is friendly. Can’t ask for much more from an ice cream shop except that perhaps they get a square reader so they can take cards 💳

Evs double header cones are the absolute best! Im sure they have other great things, but I can never resist a lemon/raspberry twist double header.

The staff was friendly and expedient. The prices reasonable. However I didnt like the texture of the treats. Too runny. I prefer DQ.

We love Evs! We drive over from Ames as often as we can. They have amazing soft serve flavors that you cant get anywhere else! The strawberry, banana, and caramel flavors are my favorite.Really, really good!!!

My husband wanted Dairy Queen. I said let’s do a small mom & pop place. Very disappointed, no lids on our chocolate malts, very little chocolate taste and too runny.

I like that they seem to have new flavors introduced every year. It is a very good place if all you want is something ice cream. The only flaw is the line there is usually backed up out the door. Oh, but it is worth the wait.

I grew up on this ice cream and its the best ever. I live 2 1/2 hours away and was in town over the weekend. When googling your hours it said you were open until 10 on Saturdays. I got there at 9:15 and you were closed. Can you imagine how disappointed I was? Fix your hours online please

Great place but inconsistent portions. Depending on whos working is how relative a serving size is. Some people stiff you such as I ordered 2 mediums a large and a small all were the same size. When I spoke to them the teen it she was rather rude and seemed offended I questioned her serving size. O well still good ice cream just need better people
