This reminds me of all the small Korean shops on the streets of Korean. Owner was out of Asian pear so gave me free American pears from her garden. Awesome shop keeper. If I lived closer I’d pop in for some Korean soup and rice cakes for lunch. What she didn’t have one day she made sure to get for us the next order. Love this store won’t go to another. 45 minutes drive worth it for the Authentic Korean spices and frozen goods I love

Wonderful selection and freshly made side dishes + meals!!! Very clean store and a lot to chose from. The freezer section has already marinated meats and easy to cook stuff. The shelves are always stocked with many Korean products. Love this store!

Always a pleasure shopping here. The owner is great at helping you find what you need. Always warm and friendly. Great food!! I would much rather shop here and support the small business than get it from the grocery stores.

A hidden treasure for Korean food enthusiasts. You can buy your favorite gochujang or ssamjang sauces here. You can even order Korean food, since the store has a mini kitchen at the back. The staff were all so nice and accommodating.

I saw a lot of posts saying the owner was either rude or followed them around. That’s not the case at all! I walked in speaking Korean and the owner was immediately very kind and talked with me. Not once did she bother. I actually kept asking how much and where everything was and she was so happy to help! The KIMBAP, not sushi, is fresh and delicious! Definitely a very convenient and wonderful store to visit if you’re looking for Asian treats, snacks, and even ready to cook foods. 가게 주인은 고맙습니다!!!!!

Most helpful and friendly people ever. If you tell them what you are cooking they will give you advice and show you the best Asian ingredients. She even gave me a free cookie.

Such sweet ladies that run this shop. They make homemade Kimbop and other Korean dishes. My whole family loves to go and visit the store for good food and conversation.

I been searching all over Augusta for an Asian Market that has exactly what I need. I was worried by the size when I walked in but they had exactly what I was looking for. The lady who was working was very nice and so very helpful. It was a great experience and it will be my go to Asian market from now on. Definitely worth the drive.

It was a nice little Korean grocery store. The lady working was at first distant but very helpful once I started asking questions. It helps if you know basic Korean customs (handing them your form of payment with both hands or with one hand on your elbow, or if you are a little younger than who is working be especially polite - they value politeness and respect towards elders). I think the effort on my part (while maybe flawed) was appreciated and she warned up considerably.

My husband and I were very impressed with how helpful the woman in this store was. I picked some pirri leaves from the fridge, and she actually went back to get me a fresher stack. So sweet! When my husband asked where the toasted barley was, she went into detail how to make proper barley tea. I LOVE this place! Cabbage and radish kimchi is just waiting in the fridge, and she even has GALLON BUCKETS OF IT!

Kimbap was good, but the spicy Kimbap is made with spam 😂 still tasty and will hold me over. Neat little store. Korean owned and operated.

I love this place. I stop in once a week to get my weekly gimbap fix (its delicious) and stock up on things like teas, kimchi, and candies. It may be on the smallish side but the ladies that work there are great!

The only place in Augusta that I can get good, seasoned roe as well as spicy octopus and squid side dishes.

The place smelled amazing when you walk in the store and the lady was helpful where the items were at and explain what they are.

Groceries for a good price... great place to shop!

We love Korean foods especially the kimchi sides that are normally only at a restaurant and they have them ready available to purchase to eat. They also have many korean grocery items as well as merchandise. Very friendly and we will be back.

Owner was rude...hovered over us while we were shopping. I saw fresh Napa cabbage in the walk-in and attempted to enter it to take a gander and was met with a What are you doing! She said she would bring the cabbage out if we wanted it. I guess were expected to buy her produce sight unseen. She has a lot to learn about doing business in the US. A real taste of Songtan in this place.

Small but nice korean gem where you can find all the basic korean products. The owner is always nice. She usually makes fresh and tasty gimbab in the morning.
