Easily received a quote to sell my car and scheduled an appointment with a VERY wide window of pick-up. Waited the entire window before calling to be told that the window of 1-5pm was over a 48hr period. Ive already lost two days of pay at work, waiting for the car to be picked up. Im seeing a trend for folks wasting a lot of time at the lot and waiting for service without clear communication.

Horrible customer service! Drove all the way from Sacramento to Martinez and they told me I couldn’t go in because I don’t have an account. Then I searched up the policy and found out you can go in as a guest if you pay $25. Told them, and they said let me talk to my manager and then they wouldn’t let me go because I didn’t have a mask. I told him I don’t have one with me and I drove all the way from Sacramento and then I saw they had a mask box on the counter and I told them and after insisting they gave me one. Then said they only take cash which doesn’t make sense because nowadays people only take card because of Covid. People who hate their jobs and put it on others.

THIS PLACE IS REDICULOUS, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICEAlso they dont show you everything you need to see on the pictures until you receive the surprise the car has more damage than expected, even drivers said many costumers were disappointed when they receive there cars because they dont take nice and clean pictures.YOUR TIME IS NOT WORTHED

Very disappointed with the forklift drivers been waiting almost 2 hours for them to bring my vehicle out One asked when are you guys bringing the vehicle the guys are on break when they come back at 6 PM you close at 7 PM you guys are on break before they get off in an hour highly ashamed of this Copart location I don’t have this problem any any other Coparts

If your car is brought here, hopefully you will have nothing of value in it. If you do, consider it gone. They help themselves to whatever is in your car before you even get a chance to get there. Shady business.

We had to go to Copart to collect the personal items out of my daughters car because it was totalled in an accident. Everyone there was super nice and helpful. It took longer than I expected because they were busy and only had 2 people behind the counter. Other than that, our experience was good.

Horrible service, told me first only card than told I can only do cash, also when I went in they didn´t care I wore a mask so I didn´t wear one than someone told me I need a mask so I used my shirt and another told me a can´t use my shirt, either way they have horrible costumer service would recommend not going here would give them 0 stars if I could.

Was horrible,I’m a transport driver and I sat there from 11:15-2:45 before a forklift driver brought out my first motorcycle wish I could notify Copart that the forklift drivers are purposely avoiding the guys that have motorcycles sorry but my buyers pay the same pullout fee that the cars charge.just sad service and they only get the one star on behalf of Juan the forklift driver

Kelly Steele and SteveDo not let your insurance company take your car to Copart after an accident. I was involved in a car accident in Livermoore California October 5. After the accident my insurance company Dairyland took my car to Copart to do the appraisal while my car was at Copart it was damaged more by the neglect of Copart . Copart tried to hide the damage saying it happened in the accident but once all the pictures were shown they Took responsibility. To fix my car properly estimate was over $3000 but I would be without my car for 14 days I estimate $50 a day for rental car and inconvenience of not having my car. I received a check yesterday from Copart for $2000 On the back of the check it says if I cash this check it would release them of any responsibility. This check will not cover the repairs for my car or the inconvenience that I’m in. My warning to you if you were involved in an accident take pictures of your car before it goes to Copart that way you have all the proof you need before and after.

Bought many cars through Martinez. Though I am happy with Copart and their business model I was particularly not happy with this branches customer service. After being a long standing member and buying many vehicles I was treated worthless and told to go pack it if you dont like something. Alfonso being the branch manager was not professional, and could use direct customer service/relations training. Great business model, bad customer service. Get a new Manager.

I have to say how disgusting the service here is. I completely understand that you close at 5 PM, But out of the 20 people I saw rushing to get off work not one had time to help me!? I get off work at 4 PM almost every day because I am a manager as well and I live in San Jose so it takes me another 45 minutes to get here. I got here before five and would’ve really appreciated some help to grab my personal items from my car but obviously some employees only give a damn about being off on time. I apologize if this rant seems is undeserved but I just want you to know that if you showed up five minutes before I closed my coffee shop, I would still help you!

Today, 06-05-18, I went to Copart in Martinez to removed personal items out of my wrecked car. I want to recognize Amy Vanzandt, for the kindness, patience, and professionalism she showed me. I am 71-years-old and have 3 broken ribs from the wreck. She patiently helped me find a locket and watch that meant something to me. She also lifted drivers side door like it was nothing. Please recognize this woman!

Bid on one condition clearly shows no rear damage. Vehicle comes out of yard with rear also damage. And cut and hid airbags to make them look like they dint blow. Insurance car selling but copart took pictures on purpose to hide it.

This place doesnt care about your vehicle and neglects it. They are also extremely unhelpful of getting your vehicle back to you and inspecting it yourself. I could bring in my jack and jack stands because it was a liability issue nor could they put it y9uip on the inspection lift because that was also a liability issue. They then could not give me an eta or even a time window of when the tow truck driver would arrive at my house. I asked if they could tell him to call me an hour or 2 before and they said they would put it in their notes. Well the guy never called me and just showed up at my house. He told me that copart let him know last minute that my car needed to be delivered. This company also somehow drained my battery completely. I know they did this somehow because usually I keep my car parked for a month while Im at work and then start it when I go back home. They had my car for a week and it was already dead. Know my car wont start at all because since they decided to let the battery get that low, the starter pulled more amperage and killed it. Now not only do I have to repair the steering and body damage that I originally had to do, but now I have to replace the starter because they completely neglected the vehicle. I think someone left some of my lights on which killed the battery. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Its been a major hassle doing anything with these guys!UPDATE: They also broke my key and are practically blowing me off by not calling me back and resolving this issue! This is an extremely unprofessional company!

Not a bad location, but super busy and when its busy boy are they slow. Seems like a few people here have preference over others. Got here today, and watched others who came after me get loaded and leave before I did. About on par for Copart though. Office staff is friendly.

Hate this place. Takes forever inside the office and when youre up they say someone will be with you shortly. BTW takedown about 2 to 3 hours to pick up 1 car not only that if you are in a big truck good luck getting in and out. This place sucks. The front destination staff is very rude and unprofessional!

I was there on Dec18, 2018 to retreive my personal item from the veihcle. The service there was smooth, I got everything I wanted within 30mins, also thanks to Jose and Kenny, I was able to get my suitcase out of the smashed rear trunk by force, and they did it nice quick.

These people low balled me then lost my release of liability papers then had to send me a new one and i sent it in and they misplaced that one basically this went on for 2 more times do i had to go to their office and believe it or not they mailed me a paper saying that they had not recieved it. So i had to call the lady who runs the whole place and misteriously she said that morning it was on her desk stapled with the other 4. I just wonder whats really going on over there and how many times has this happened to other people. They sure arent missplacing the cars.Anywho, I just hope she shreds the other papers. I will probably never go thru this company again. Avoid if u can.

Only 2 forklift guys on site to bring cars out they work supper slow, my driver was told there is 6 cars in front of him before his car will be brought out 2 hrs later, he checks again, their telling him 14 cars in front of him, how is it possible? 4-6 hrs wait time just to get 1 car out thats ridicules, Copart corporate office really need to look into how their employees operate at this location. this is my last time sending my driver here to get any Cars ....

UpdateThe policy for previewing here was the best one between most California copart yards. As a premium member we could go and check the cars out ourselves but now only 3 cars with an escort. What is the point of paying $200 to be a premium member and your account shows you buy more than 10 cars a month. I dont have a problem with escort. Hell they can frisk me but we need preview more cars. More we preview more we can buy. So more money for copart. But 3 only? This is a reason why we will buy less from copart and check Manheim and adesa and other auctions more. Bad management. Manager should have a list of premium members and buyers so they dont categorize you with thieves and people who cant be trusted.Update:Since last time they have been better. Great management

Two days to pick up your car when you win it yet its a cluster when you try to pick it up because everyone else is there at the same time. Storage every day afterwards. Copart does not care about their customers at all. Zero. This is how billion dollar corporations operate, make bean-counter decisions at the top and put all their employees in the middle to deal with irate customers.
