I love this store the great selections of soaps and incense I’m going to miss them. The staff there was wonderful really wish I could say that for some of the customers haha I was standing in line once and a customer stole my glasses of all things my glasses! Happy I had another pair and I really hope my prescription worked for them.... trifling!

I called ahead of my visit about loose leaf tea in bulk. I was assured that there was some in stock and the kind of tea they had. The information was important to me, a customer coming from out of town. Not only was there barley any loose leaf tea available, it was NOT the tea the associate had mentioned to me. There were no bags available, the tea container dispenser jammed and even tough there were several employees near by none came to our aide. We left Earth Fare WITHOUT a purchase and I doubt I will be back.

We reserved the party room and ordered pizzas and cake for my sons baptism reception. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Julie went beyond what she needed to to help us stick to a budget and still get the highest quality food. The cake was amazing and the party room was clean and had plenty of tables and seating for our large party. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place to have small get together with good food and without the stress of having it in their own house .

Great store offering a wide variety of healthy foods. I buy all my meat products here because they always have grass-fed steaks for really good prices. They’re wine and beer selection is really good too, for a smaller store. The staff is also very helpful. The only complaint (and why I can’t give them five stars) is they offered a 10% military discount every day, but now they’ve switched to one day a week. I used to come here more, but, due to the change, I don’t anymore.

I truly love and miss Earth Fare, wonderful place to shop for your family. Local grass fed beef, local produce, seasonal produce, all organic, it makes you feel truly good to eat the food you make from Earth Fare, knowing where your food is coming from, and that it is humanely treated. I only WISH that all areas had a place like this. Not as overpriced at Whole Foods, or as overwhelming in size. If and when my hubby and I move back to the area, I will be happy to return to their store. Wonderful skin care products, fresh prepared foods at the deli, the best deli turkey I have ever tasted in my life! Helpful and wonderful staff who treat you like family, who I also miss. They Have special dinners every week for a steal, a great way to save, and eat out with your family. Free local magazines, coupons every season, special offers during the holidays (like a 5 dollar coupon just for writing down a new years resolution). Daily E-mail deals as well! Military discount, and so so so much more!

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The deli and bakery always have delicious selections, and the hot and cold bars are good for a healthy meal. Also, the supplement and health and beauty departments offer a large variety of good products. I appreciate having a store nearby that is conscientious about the items it sells.

The best health grocery store in Augusta. Staff makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Smaller store but big selection. Food bar is well seasoned and always fresh. Their pizza is awesome too. Its very clean and organized.

Just had the worst experience. Theres an older gentleman with an open plate with a HUGE scoop of mac. Hes charged salad bar price. I actually had salad and get charged hot food price. Cashier KC claims she didnt see the mac on the older gentlemans dine in plate, yet I had a take out container. Im young, black and female so I felt a way. To make it worse, her manager (dude with ear gages) allows her to hand me a hand full of change and then states she cant open her register to give me bills. No thanks, give me my money back. Its a shame because they wasted my lunch break. On top of that, its walking distance from my job so it wouldve been really nice coming to patronize and eat healthy on my lunch breaks even though theyre more expensive then other options. I wont return.

Im a fan.I stopped here while traveling, in need of the quality, healthy goodies the Fare is known for; and, yep, this one proved to have what I sought, along with the rest of the chains specialties. Though, what set this particular market apart was its great atmosphere, which was welcoming and relaxed in a way thats hard to describe (but no less noticeable). Ill put it this way: Id go out of my way to shop in such an environment.And, also, the place was just clean and pleasant in general, in the building and the staff alike (who were actually smiling, and not in a plastered-on way, either). Groovy :-)Big thanks to all the good folks at this place, for helping feed me while on the road. Keep it up, guys and girls.

Absolutely love it.. i shop there every week and bring my parents every two weeks . Great selection. Great people.. if you are aiming to better your diet..your health ..your life ...its definitely worth it.

The prices here are really high but they are the only store in the area that stocks the toddler formula we buy our son and the unbleached toilet paper we need. We appreciate the option of coming here for specialty items, as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice place, good produce for the area. If youre looking for quality the cost is competitive with what youd find elsewhere and the selection is probably better. If its something where quality doesnt matter so much, youre going to overpay a lot. Tried a couple dishes from their cafe, all of which were quite good. If youre picky about milk, they have a good brand that gives back most of the cost if you return the (glass) bottle, so you can get a better deal than most places.

Thought this high end grocery would be a good place for fresh fish with all their emphasis on quality etc... COD purchased Sunday afternoon was 1 day away from being 100% spoiled. No one got sick but the strong ammonia smell and mushy texture were sure signs that the fish was well past the date it should been sold. In the future smell the fish before they wrap it! --- 4 hours later, I wrote to soon, now we are sick from bad fish. Be careful and smell it before you buy and if you smell any ammonia dont buy it!

Disappointed. I moved to Augusta from Blowing Rock where I shopped at the Boone Earth Fare. They always had high quality and FRESH meat and vegetables.The Martinez Earth Fare meat is NeVeR fresh, and vegetables are treated poorly and often spoiling. Unreliable in every aspect. They remove produce as early as 2.5 hours before closing and shut the meat department down early too. Not sure they realize these are the MAIN items healthy people want.Earth Fare ... please stop remodeling your stores and focus on HIGH QUALITY - FRESHEST POSSIBLE. This is what we want!Model every store after Asheville down to the live music outside. They are always packed with customers ...

Great place, great-customer service great selection. I was bummed to see there was no wholefoods in the area so I went to earth fare and was so happy to find everything I get at whole foods there. Loved it . Staff were very nice

They have everything I need!!! Organic fruits, vegetables, vegan cheeses, etc. Great place to shop. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I love that they have a variety of organic wines as well.Everyone needs to eat healthier...and this is a good place to start. Good place if you have a special diet...they have specialty foods that meets everyones needs.Plus, you cant beat the prices!

The lady that cooks the premade dinners is super helpful n friendly. I got some chicken Alfredo n it was pretty good. Went to grab some coffee n some older lady was walking past n I asked if there was creamer. She let out an annoyed sigh n started digging around in a mini fridge. She put it on the counter n said, just leave it when youre done, n huffed as she walked away. It made me feel like she was angry that I asked for her help. Weird. Then I go to check out, n another older lady was at the register with a scowl on her face, never said hello, nothing, just scanned my items, took payment, n gave me a receipt. She seemed angry as well. It was bizarre, like everyone was in a bad mood n just didnt want to be there. Are you treating your employees poorly, Earth Fare?

I live 40 minutes from the store so I usually call when looking for a specific product. I have found the employees to be helpful when IN the store, just dont bother calling the store to find out if they have a product... they dont seem to know how to manage a phone... I always get hung up on. As a result, they often lose my business.

The night manager was super helpful and friendly. There are lots of healthy choices and delicious looking foods. Everything looked clean and fresh, they offer many varieties of organic foods. If Im ever in the area again all be back.

My kids have a lot of very extremely allergies and we come to this store to get items that we cant get anywhere else.A lot of other stores products packaging will say, May contain Milk or May contain Nuts on products that dont have those things in them. Earth Fare sells a large veriety of specialty items that allow my kids to enjoy long favored family recipies that weve now modified to include replacement ingredients.Their frozen dessert section has a very large selection. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Earth Fare always has a great selection of gluten free products that my wife loves. There meat department is always helpful and the staff is very friendly. Always a pleasant shopping experience here.

Small store with everything you need. Its great! Mostly organic and very helpful staff. If they dont have something, they are very responsive with requests for new items.

This is my favorite grocery store that Ive ever come across (that includes the Fresh Market, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods). They have a huge selection of organic foods, lots of local produce (a lot is still imported, so make sure to check your local farmers for the best produce) and lots of cheese, wine, beauty/health products and nuts/seeds.This place is great if youre a vegetarian or vegan and still great if youre not, too. I bought some crab cakes from here once and they were delicious. The same goes for the salmon. They also have a cafe and a salad bar/take out section if you want something quick for dinner.Of course its not going to be as cheap as other grocery stores, but you get what you pay for. Their goal is sell food that have as few synthetic ingredients as possible, and they do a pretty good job at it. I dont think Ive ever seen any products with any high fructose corn syrup in them, or any of those other bad ingredients. I generally spend anywhere from $30-80 a week here, depending on what I buy (the more expensive items tend to be olive oil, laundry detergent, bodywash, shampoo, etc). Oh, and if youre a fan of milk, then you must buy the Hickory Hill milk. It comes from Edgefield, SC and is the best milk Ive ever had.

Why is it every time I come to Earth Fare that half of the fresh food is always bad and moldy? Why should I pay full price for moldy food that I cant eat?! This is the third time that I have come to buy strawberries and each time they have been moldy. Unexceptable!!! Next to Whole Foods they had the best selection, but Im fed up and will find a better retailer or resort to only the farmers market.

I am in love with this store it takes me 20 mins to drive there but it is worth it. Very friendly makes me feel welcome everytime i walk through theyre doors. One happy customer!!

This store is fabulous...Very friendly and knowledgeable employees and a lot of good items..they are pricey but worth every penny..even if you cant afford to buy everything you need from earthfare at least try their specials..they are worth it.

Earth Fare has a selection of food and supplements you wont find elsewhere in the area. However, over the years since this store opened, the quality and selection has been declining steadily.I have, on four different occasions in the last year, purchased meat from the refrigerated section in the meat and seafood department, driven it directly home for dinner, and found it to be bad when I opened it up. I dont mean like a little smelly bad. I mean like send you hospital bad with green colored meat on the bottom or between pieces. Each time, I have told the person at customer service, but nothing seems to change. I cant recommend buying meat from there in good confidence. Either their coolers arent maintaining the proper temperature or the meat is being left out too long in transition to the cooler. The staff seem friendly and knowledgeable enough, but it cant make up for the consistent degradation of the product.

This is a great store location. Like many others in the area, we are more familiar with stores like WholeFoods and Trader Joes. I was very excited after trying out this store, because it had so much to offer in so many areas. Kudos to you for that! I have had a negative experience though, sadly. One evening, I think it was a Tuesday, it was about 45 minutes to closing and I came in for a few things, one of them being deli meat. By the young male employees reaction when I asked for service, I could tell that he was ready to leave for the night. I mean, jeez, he had all the equipment and machinery cleaned and almost put away prior to 30 minutes before closing. Now, I can understand being prepared to close, but having an attitude because you have to dirty your clean meat slicer for my measly two lbs of deli meat is unnecessary. You, as a paid employee, should not show inconvenience and anger all over your face. Literally, and this is no joke, he cut my half pound of turkey into 3, maybe 4 slices. What the heck! What kind of sandwiches do you think I make? My roast beef was the same. It was truly unacceptable. If you have to clean the slicer again, you might as well slice as you normally would. Thank you for the 1/4 pound slices of meat, and Im sorry for the inconvenience that my visiting the store may have caused you. Rant - over.

When I walked in at 7 PM Monday night to buy one of their whole roasted chickens for five dollars, they were completely out. They had mentioned that a lady came through and bought eight of them right before I had and cleaned out their inventory. I dont understand why two hours before you close, you arent cooking more. It doesnt make sense, especially for those who do not get off work until 630-645. And why isnt there a limit to how many you can buy?

I love the place, but my eyes do tear up a little when I get to the cash register.

This is one of maybe two places in Augusta where you can find good cheeses, prepared foods, wines, and happiness.

Of all the healthy food grocery chains like Whole Foods and Sprouts, this is my least favorite because it has a darkly decorated interior with dim lighting. It just feels too dark.

I was worried that since Whole foods closed that I wouldnt be able to find my favorite organic products but this little gem saved me!

Prices for organic produce and meats rival that of you bigger chain grocery store prices for non-organic items. Needless to say, their pricing is far and away better than that other, more well known organic store.
