Paid to have wood installed on two floors of the house including the steps. They put cardboard down to level the floor in two spots, left all door trim with a 1/4 inch or more gap, trimmed one door crooked and put stair treads down that had two different finishes gloss and matt. A local handyman could have done a better job for half the cost.

We had excellent service here. We were able to bring samples home to know what we wanted, and got our sheet vinyl in the next day. Helpful with answering our questions and helping us narrow down our options.

I came to the store one day to shop carpet. No one greeted me when I came in. I walked about a little and still one one was there. I walked out.

I had Carpet World install carpet in my house. They were able to track the name of the carpet I had in another room and special order it. The service was great. They did a good job installing it and came back to redo an small area that I wasnt satisfied with. Overall, very pleased. Good price and good service. Getting ready to have them install new floors in my kitchen and bathroom.

They showed up on scheduled date. Installed the flooring. One small area we wanted fixed. They came back and fixed it. One of easiest dealings with home renovations. Highly recommended!

They came within $100 of the competitive bidding for my Home Project. It is worth that and more to me, to work with people who are not fly by night people but have a good reputation and know what theyre doing!

Unprofessional. Failed to follow simple instructions to NOT make hardwood cuts inside my house and failed to use the same grade/thickness carpet pad in a small area of a larger carpeted room that was damaged by water (CarpetWotld of Martinsburg was part of the team hired for insurance related flooring repairs). It also took them nearly 3 months (yes...months) to finish installing about 500 swift of hardwood flooring. I can say NOTHING positive about my experience with this company.

Hours are til 8 pm on Friday. Drive all the way there, get there at 7:20 pm, open flag hanging outside, open sign blinking in the front window, but alas locked up tighter than a drum! That great for business! Unfortunately Martinsburg doesnt have any other stores for carpet selection.

Substandard carpet. I have had my carpet only 1 year and it looks 5 years old. We requested the thicker pad, they talked us out of it, stating their pad was pretty thick...its not. We wanted to patron the mom/pop type store, next time well go to Home Depot.

Showed an hour before posted closing time and it was locked. And when I called it went straight to voice mail. Wish I could duck out from work an hour early.

A star is required but a zero in my opinion. We ordered a carpet on July 27th and was told it would take 4 days to have it delivered and 4 more days to cut and bind since it was a special order. On Aug. 8th, I called to see about the status of our order because we just had recently moved into our new home. I was told that they were running behind which is OK because it happens and that the projected date would be that following Friday on the 10th. I received no phone call so I called back on the 13th and stated that I wanted a refund. Wants a refund was mentioned I was in sure that the carpet was done and that we could have it delivered. I requested free delivery for the inconvenience of timing and poor customer service and I was denied. I set up a delivery for the following day on the 14th for 2 o’clock and I am waiting close to an hour later With no phone call. I am highly unsatisfied with the customer service of this organization and will not be returning as a customer. On the same day of July 27, we ordered another rug from another company and have received it and installed it In 10 days, Where we have not even laid eyes on the rug we are currently waiting on from Carpet World.

We just had Carpet World install carpet in my wifes weaving studio. The price was quite reasonable and the installation looks great. But what I want to rave about is the installation. Tim and his helper Barry arrived ahead of time (having called first), and were dismayed to discover the concrete floor of the room, which would make it a much longer installation, but as Tim said, it is what it is. They replaced tack strip, having to drill into the concrete, and even moved the baseboard heaters up to make sure there was adequate clearance. Pad and carpet went in very smoothly, and looks great.In one area, a crumbling edge on the concrete made the installation a little iffy, but Tim told my wife to call immediately if the carpet started to come loose, so that they could come back and apply a different (slightly less attractive) edging method.All in all, the installers are the reason we will be going back to them for a much bigger job later this year.
