Bump that review below, that guy clearly has no idea what they’re talking about. I just bought a brand new authentic PS4 controller from this place and it works great and feels great. The store clerk clearly told me which one was a generic controller and which one was an authentic controller, as they sell both. I looked all over for this controller, unfortunately the Dualshock 4 has been discontinued by Sony. So this was literally the only place in Martinsburg or Hagerstown that had them brand new and they did not disappoint. Will be going back!

I recently bought a controller for my ps4 here. It was great at first, the toggle sticks were a little stiff but otherwise no issues. My wife uses it more than I do and she doesnt get to play as often, so it wasnt until after the very short seven day return policy ran out for us that we noticed the toggle sticks arent just stiff, they simply dont work very well. The right toggle stick sinks in and has to be pulled out often. The touch pad doesnt work correctly like it does on a controller youd get with the console. Not only that, it wasnt in a package when we bought it but was sold as new anyway.My issue with all of this is that after comparing this controller to an older controller we have, this controller doesnt seem to be an actual authentic Sony controller. Its lighter, very cheap and again, just doesnt work the same. Now this could be because Sony had a different manufacturer, but this was sold to me as a brand new Sony controller and it does not seem to be.Again, the touch pad does not work unless you press directly into the center of it, which is not the case with a Sony controller. The toggle sticks are stiff and as far as Im concerned broken. It is much lighter than the controller we got with the system as well, Im not a tech guy so there could be a reason for that, but since this was sold to me as new without the packaging I suspect it is a knock off brand controller with Sony stickers and the symbol painted on.I cant return it either, as the return policy is only seven days and it is well past that. I never used it until my wife started complaining that it didnt seem right while playing, so we switched and it absolutely does not feel right. The workers seem like decent people so this isnt on them as far as I know, but this is just unacceptable to me.

Ive been doing business here since they opened their doors at the previous location. Ive been treated fairly through the years. Good selection of games with affordable prices. Staff is knowledgeable and the trade in values they offer for your used systems and games arent bad. On another note, in my experience, they will stand behind what they sell. Give the owner, Dennis Grove and his staff a chance. Youll be glad you did.

Cool place, people and games. Its cool place if youre a gamers or someone new because the owner is very knowledgeable on everything they have. Him and staffing are more than happy to help you with any questions if they dont have it they dont push you down on the list in case it comes in. Me and my family really enjoyed this store and we highly recommend Panhandle Games 👍🏻👍🏻

Amazing retro game store!! Great prices and very helpful people. Had alot of selection and even more in the back. Like RCA to HDMI adapters. You just need to ask if your looking for something. Plus found a pink Wii controller, nobody has that in stock anywhere.

Great place to find unique and hard to find items

While not as expansive as Id like to see for a gaming store, I was still impressed with the selection when compared to numerous other stores in the greater Eastern Panhandle and D.C. area. In fact, I was surprised with the personality of their titles offered--games here are certainly not all low-budget or sports titles.Needing an item within the glass casing, an employee let me browse through several copies of the same title to try to build the most complete copy in highest condition that I could--something that was very considerate to allow.Prices are fair. While I did not trade-in anything, I will refute the reviewers who solely are displeased with the trade-in value. You will not get market value when trading in titles here. You wont find that anywhere. Take into account that some titles sit on shelves for months if not years, in addition to now its their job to make some kind of profit. If youre wanting to try to sell a game at market value online, expect the fees that these online storefronts charge. At the same time, good luck and be safe trying to find anybody in the area to buy your consoles and games dating twenty years in average condition for high-dollar.Finding the store when unfamiliar with the area was a hassle and difficult, as Google Maps was quite finnicky. However, the trip was worth it and Ill be back if ever in the area.Lengthening store hours is a suggestion you may want to consider.

Helped me with two separate system and related game questions in person then followed up with friendly phone support when I encountered user error issues at home. Loved the way the store was set up and reminded me or many beloved small businesses of my youth. Definitely want to keep my future gaming business with them.

This vintage game shop is fantastic, they have just about everything you can think of and the prices are great. The owner and staff are stand up guys and I wouldn’t hesitate to say they are some of the best Ive ever dealt with. Support your local small business! Great little place. Alot of old retro games. Some new ones. Has Pops and a good selection of plushies. They have a cabinet with some collectibles like Megaman stuff and other collectibles. Definitely recommend They have a lot of pictures on their FB so didnt really need to take any to post this.

Store doesnt even sell an RCA to HDMI cable, which is needed to run ANY vintage console on any current TV. Sad.

One of the greatest places to go if you want any kind of game or gaming equipment or anything game related the gentleman named Dennis owns the store is a really good guy. I recommend anybody looking for any kind of gaming equipment or games to drop in and check this place out Im pretty sure you will love it as much as I do.

While they dont have deals all the time like some game stores they make up with knowing every question you have and is very helpful but not to the point of annoyance like most stores. Prices are also very fair but Id like to see if the game has a book without having to remove tape all the time.

Prices are usually at or below market value on already hard to come by games unless you seek them out online site unseen which is tough when you are a collector. For anyone to think that you will get market value on a sale or trade In item is unrealistically crazy and doesn’t realize they need to make money. Every time I buy online or somewhere else I go in and find what I may have bought elsewhere and say man I should have waited and got it here. I rarely bother looking up market price there anymore because I know it’s all reasonably priced. Places like cartridges galore or back to the media always have their items well over priced market value and dirty they don’t bother going over anything, it makes me sick. The guys in the panhandle shop are nice and helpful and I love that they only take things in that are In good condition or price accordingly.

This store provides you with quality games for low prices. Panhandle games provides tons of Nintendo entertainment system games and accessories. The people there are very nice, and let you hold their accessories. This place provides Nintendo entertainment system, Super Nintendo entertainment system, Nintendo 64, game cube, and many more.This is a fun place not just to buy, but to look at some of mankinds greatest games.

Bought an original Xbox console w/controller and packaged controller. The Xbox spazzed and would only work at times while giving several different error codes. The packaged controller didnt work at all. Cool place and chill staff but unreliable products

Friendly staff, a wide selection of used game systems, components and games. Also game collectables, game strategy guide books, DVD and Blu-ray movies. If they dont have something just ask and they probably can get it for you. They also have a disk conditioning machine on site, so Im never afraid to buy a bad disk.

This is the best place to go if you want to trade in games, consoles, or collectables. Also has the best selection from NES to Xbox one. Best part to me is Denniss great customer service. He is also very gonest aswell. Trust me it is well worth me making the hour walk out there!

Panhandle games owners are a bunch of crooks. Give you 25 percent of value of items that you sale for cash, stating that items are worth one thing but in reality when you check prices for yourself its worth 5 times more then stated. Not honest when it comes to rarity an value of a game you could have a 100$ game an may not know it an they do so they will low ball you an get it for 10$ or less. I have witnessed this with none collectors and even children. Panhandle games has no boundaries when it comes to age and will be very dishonest to those who may not know what they have. Look your games up before going there because of the very dishonest owners. Pawnshops will give you more for your newer game systems so please be careful an take this as a warning to shop around before you think you got the best deal. Prices are above book value so no deals to be found there.

Be careful!I purchased an old system to introduce my son into gaming and thought it would be fun to start with a Nintendo 64. The shop was friendly while making my purchase and helped me find the games I was searching for.Once I returned home and set up the system it would not play on our newer TV with the rca cables. I went to Bestbuy and purchased an rca to hdmi box in hope that it would work, it did not. I returned back to the store and the shop tested it on their TV (old tube style not flat screen) and it worked. He told me to try it at home again so I did, still didnt work. At this point I just wanted to return the system. He told my wife that there is no refunds only store credit. This is not posted anywhere in the store just a small sign saying exchanges for store credit only....exchanges. My wife and him went back and forth for a bit and thats where him being professional or nice went out the window. My wife kept it professional but he knew he was wrong and couldnt keep it together so the defense scarism came out, so sad.Save the drama and go to Gamestop!

This place is amazing the store is not cheap *cough* gamestop *cough* for example they give u a reasonable price for your electronics, the employees are very helpful and i actually plan on going there today to trade in my xbox. I will never go to gamestop again knowing that this store is still around
