I dont know why there are 4.4 stars, the old woman who attends is very rude, today I went to have an ice cream, firstly she took my cone with her dirty hands without any napkin, and then she made a mistake when counting the money, she asked me for more $, I gave it to her, but I told her that she was wrong and she took the money and just threw it at me! So rude!!Dont support business with rude people.

This is a beautiful petite shop. I came for a gift box of chocolates and the staff was very helpful in letting me know prices and options for the set. They even have gift wrapping options! Very nice selection of flavors, truffles, and sweets.

My hubby stopped by today and bought a box of the milk choc turtles as a surprise for me after my surgery. I have to say they are delicious, you can taste quality ingredients and I don’t think they are over priced for what they offer - hand crafted confections made with the finest ingredients. He just discovered the store today, and I am sure we will be back to see what other goodies they offer. It’s wonderful to me, that in our beautiful small town, we have so many local treasures. Shop local and support our community.

I just called this shop explaining I just got a foot surgery and can not walk, but still wanted to come by and grab some truffles and SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS and asked “just out of curiosity, if I place an order is there any way anyone could run my order out to my car? If you guys are busy or it is not something that can happen that’s okay, I can wait” and the women on the phone was very rude, kept cutting me off and made me not want to spend my money there at all. I was just looking for a yes or no

Very cool old timey candy and ice cream shop. I bought the pre-packaged english toffee ($5) and had an ice cream cone (upgraded to waffle cone) with espresso explosion ice cream (the owner says it is the most popular flavor). Both were amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Ordered some chocolates for my parents as a gift. Had a small mishap with the online ordering but it was quickly and professionally handled. Both my parents love the chocolate and the prices are great. I will be ordering from Candy Box for gifts in the future. Keep up the great work!

Cute local candy store. It stocks a wide variety of chocolates. There is also some local color in the form of books and photographs. Prices were not too expensive and because there is no over priced Sees in our area this little candy box is a welcome find!

Most of all, I like that the owner actually cares about the reviews, reads them and responds.I received this candy (the TURTLES!) almost 30 years ago, although I thought the name was The Little Candy Shop. I dream of this candy, but settled for Sees because I live in Sacramento and figured they were closed because downtown Marysville was pretty dead last time I was near (20 years ago) Now that I know they still thrive, I will be making a special trip to buy more TURTLES! They are the best I have ever tasted. I hope the recipe is the same, and will be posting an update once I make my way down there. Cant wait!

Good candy. Pricey though and you have to ask how much everything is since its not labeled. That personally discourages me as a patron.

Great homemade candy and now they have great ice cream. We had fresh PEACH, just the cooling treat for this ~hot~ weather.
