This place was recommended by locals as a great place to go. It was close to home which was an added bonus. We went in to discuss new flooring and received great feedback and information. After making our decision, the flooring was ordered and in less than 2 weeks we had gorgeous new floor installed. The staff in store were friendly and professional and the installation crew were great as well. Polite and hard working, they did an absolutely beautiful job. They cleaned up after themselves and left my home looking great. Highly recommend Abbey!

They went above and beyond to schedule an emergency appointment to install carpet while we selling our house. The new buyers wanted to pick out their own carpet. We cancelled the day of installation. We didn’t expect any type of refund because of the short notice. They refunded almost half of the down payment. I would recommend Abbey Van Dam Carpets to anyone. Michelle was awesome.

We had such a wonderful experience here. The owners are awesome and super knowledgeable about their products. We were installing the floors ourself and they were more then willing to answer any questions we had along the way. They were also affordable and less than other places we had looked at.

Nordstroms could take customer service lessons from Abbey Van Dam in Marysville! Jeff & Lori, and Staff are extremely knowledgeable about their products, and installation. They helped steer us into what turns out to be absolutely perfect flooring for us, not them. We did our entire house, and the install was perfect, zero mess and extremely accommodating to our needs. This was the most enjoyable and professional project Ive had, and if I could double the stars I would. The only negative thing I can say is that I like them so much, Ill have to send them a Christmas Card! Thank you for the excellent product, install and service!

Great experience from start to finish: product selection from wide range of options, speedy in-home estimate, expert installation. They arrived on time, protected my home and furnishings from any work related splatters/messes, corrected problems created from a previous poor installation 25 years ago, gave expert instructions for protecting new flooring when moving appliances, did the job quickly and efficiently, and left no work debris behind. Installers have decades of experience, with craftsmens eyes for quality details...seams invisible, patterns matching perfectly. Installers were professional, friendly, enjoyed their work, and I felt comfortable having them in my home.

Although there were some problems in the process due to the carpet manufacturer, I gave a five star rating because the overall experience was very good. On our first visit we met with Lori and I made it clear that I knew what I wanted to end up with and that it was going to take time to look through the entire store and stock which was plentiful.I attribute the reason for my satisfaction to the attitude of the people I worked with and it is certainly worth mentioning them here. Michelle, whom I communicated most with, has not only the patience of jobe, but she consistently is friendly and helpful and sees to it that the customer is taken care of first and foremost.The installers, Doyle and Rob, went above and beyond to help wherever I needed it. I am a perfectionist and they graciously moved things one inch to the left, one to the right and so on because I’m old and picky. When at first they unrolled the carpeting we ordered they saw that the pattern was uneven and worked on from there with Lori with the end result of having to re-order n ew carpeting and I told everyone that I only wanted Doyle and Rob to be my installers again.Everything worked out great and we are over the top pleased not only with the carpeting, which was laid with great and care, but the people that made it so.When we get the lower level recarpeted I wouldn’t go anywhere else but Van Damme flooring in Marysville.

Van Dams hands down has the best customer service and came through for us while rebuilding from a fire. Quality product, outstanding work!

Booo! Avoid at all costs! Pulled a Bait & Switch on my dying father right before Christmas! My parents gave Van Dams their business even though Lowes had the same prices because they thought it would be better to support a family owned business. Well that was a mistake! Installed the wrong carpet, and when called on the problem Van Dams Owner (the father) blame shifted to his daughter (who blame shifted back to him). Then he nearly ruined the furniture when he himself (the Owner) moved it during installation of the correct carpet. These people have no empathy or morals whatsoever. Help me put them out of business!

Nearly 700 bucks for a 15 by 12 remnant and 8 lb pad. No thanks
