Rented a snow cone machine and when I checked it out on the day of my party it was on my porch and very heavy. The machine was so dirty and the owner would not give me a refund. He had the order since the 8th of July. He had plenty of time to check his orders. This company is worthless.

A day and several hours later than when they said theyd arrive for my best friends wedding. A very tired wedding party with no time left to scrub the dirty chairs. And hey, I realize rental chairs get scuffed. If they are meant to come dirty, this company should bring them on time.

I dont know if the name of this company is Brothers Party Rental or Crown Party Rental, but they are at 314 E. Huron Blvd. in Marysville, Michigan. Their receipt says Brothers and their email is Crown. At any rate, last week I rented two 6-foot tables and 12 white padded chairs for my fathers memorial being held on our front lawn on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Brothers/Crown does not deliver to orders under $500.00, so I picked the tables & chairs up myself. A nice young man loaded my Jeep and I tipped him accordingly. When I got home, I was very upset to discover that the table and chairs were filthy. I called immediately and informed whoever answered the phone that the chairs were filthy. (In fact, they were muddy! See photos). The woman I was talking to said, They are not filthy. They are scuffed. Do you know know many chairs go in and out of here every week? You need to wipe them down. When I informed her that they were more than scuffed, that they were dirty and muddy, she said, I am sorry you are disappointed. Have a nice day. And click --- SHE HUNG UP ON ME.To be treated in such a manner when I was preparing for my dads memorial is not acceptable. Also, at that point, the last thing I wanted to be doing was scrubbing down rental tables & chairs. Luckily, my best friend went to another rental company and rented chair covers. And we had tablecloths on hand to cover up the tables.If Brothers/Crown had only done the right thing and apologized (and replaced the dirty tables and chairs for clean ones), I would have been grateful and I would not be posting this review now. Very sad.

I hired Crown Party Rental for my outdoor wedding in August of 2012. The staff were extremely polite and thorough, both over the phone and in person (I dealt almost exclusively with Dana). The prices were reasonable and their set-up and break-down crews were punctual and efficient. The tent was absolutely beautiful and the tables, chairs and bar were sturdy. The bar wasnt much to look at, but was served its purpose very well. We used 2 40-light gold chandeliers (on dimmers, as they can get very bright) to light our 40 x 80 tent and they cast a gorgeous glow throughout the entire reception. The staff were wonderful at narrowing down the perfect floor plan for the tent, including a perfectly sized dance floor and plenty of space for natural movement within the tent.I do not recommend the catering company that they often work with (Faulkners Catering), which I have reviewed separately. I went through the caterer for my linens, but in hindsight, I would go through Crown Party Rental for my linens as well as the tent and furniture.In short, I recommend this company highly and encourage anyone hosting an outdoor event to contact them for an estimate.

If it wasnt for Crown we would not have had chairs for our ceremony. The company we originally booked with (Empire Party Rental) tried to price gouge us two weeks before the date and refused to do business with us unless we paid more even though we had already paid in full. Luckily Crown had availability and the rep that answered the call was so helpful and understanding of our situation. The chairs arrived on time, the delivery guys were nice, they wiped down the chairs and helped set up as well as help cart them through the park. Recommend this company.

I have used this company for multiple events. I recently had an anniversary party for my parents and rented a tent with tables and chairs and also had them cater the food. The food was awesome, everyone loved it, and everything was cooked perfectly. The tent and tables/chairs were delivered on time and the staff was very friendly and efficient while unloading/setting up. Everything was just the way it should have been. We also had them cater our sons graduation open house. Debbie was very professional and accommodating, I could not have ben more pleased with their services! definitely recommend!

Very very poor service, when we put in the order for the tables and chairs for our wedding, which the order was done 4 months ahead of time, we were shown tables and chairs that looked really clean and brand new, when they arrived, they were all dirty, disgusting and broken, and they were supposed to be unloaded and set up, but we had to help unload everything and set everything up ourselves, will not being using them again, very unprofessional, would not recommend to anyone!

I like to leave my reviews whether good or bad. This company has been great. Second time using them. We only rent tables and chairs but they’re always available and on the spot. They do their best to accommodate. They also had no issue with me returning my tables and chairs a day late due to a family emergency. Thank you!

Had for our wedding on the beach...showed up when they said they would and everything was exactly as the pictures show! Great to work with! Made many adjustments through the process and they were very organized! Even had a small issue and they sent someone right away! Would recommend to anyone!

If I could give 0 stars, I would.When we selected a venue, we felt some pressure to use Faulkners/Crown Party Rental, as they were the preferred vendor for the site. In all of our meetings with Chuck, we found him to be very professional, with a great deal of experience, and felt comfortable working with him for our outdoor ceremony and tent reception.When the company signed a larger party for the same date as our wedding, we found that we would not be working with Chuck on the day of our wedding, but instead with Deb, who now owns the business. Deb was constantly disrespectful to my wife, me, and both of our families and consistently failed to provide services we had been previously promised by Chuck, including several re-writes of our menu.Our wedding weekend was the windiest of the summer, and upon arriving to set up on Friday, we found that our tent only had ground-to-ceiling wall pieces for about 25% of the area. We were told that our all-inclusive contract did not include walls, and we would have to do without, or accept their generous offer of 6-foot wall pieces for the 8-foot walls, essentially turning the tent into a giant sail in the wind. Luckily, Chuck went out of his way to call in a favor from another company and by Saturday morning, we had a fully-walled tent, as we expected all along.Later Saturday, it became clear that nobody from Crown/Faulkners would be coming to help with decoration setup as we were promised. Friends and family stayed late through the morning to help us. As the time of our ceremony came closer, it also became clear that nobody would be coming to set up chairs at our ceremony site. My groomsmen and I set up all the chairs about 20 minutes before the ceremony started, with guests already standing around wondering where to go. At no point did we ever receive an apology for this. Debs excuse as the owner of the business was that she didnt know because she was focused on the food - about 200 feet away from the ceremony site.Our guests enjoyed the food, although weve yet to find anyone who saw all of the appetizer options we paid for.We were promised real glasses until 9 p.m. for toasts, but only plastic cups were provided, even for wine.We accounted for enough seats for our photographers and DJ to eat dinner. When they tried to get in line, Deb told them there were no plates left and they couldnt eat. Our family gave up seats at their tables so this could be remedied.At some point during the ceremony Deb claims that she gave our rented cake stand to someone from our family. This was never found and resulted in the loss of a $100 deposit.When we called to discuss these problems with Deb after the wedding, she was even more rude than she had been during the rest of the process, telling us we were wrong to ask her why nobody came to set up chairs since she only cared about the food. I mentioned another reviewer from a different site, who mentioned a 15% refund and she laughed in my face and called her a liar. We were offered $40 (less than half a percent of our total cost) for the lack of chair setup, and nothing more. With several friends having been recently engaged, I decided to decline this final show of disrespect and write this review instead.If we could have worked with Chuck from start to finish, Im confident that none of these issues would have come up. The ownership of this company is completely unprofessional, and I wouldnt wish their lack of service and common courtesy on anyone.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! After a number of phone calls and confusion from the business on where I was located our tent arrived 30 minutes prior to my event. That was when they realize they had brought the smaller tent... The one I had paid for was $150 more (on their website) and quite larger to fit all of my guests. We were also short chairs and tables! It was terribly stressful and after all of their mistakes and confusion I was only given $50 to compensate for the disaster that took place. Even though the tent I paid for was $150 more than the one they brought. BEWARE!

Extremely poor customer service. I was ignored several times after going back and forth corresponding with Kim. She blamed the lack of communication on having a few days off and her manager being on vacation. I got frustrated and handed the reigns over to my fiance who attempted to do business with Crown. Kim (again) made false promises and never got back to her. Wedding planning is stressful enough without having to worry about finding a reliable tent rental company.

Would have given 0 stars if the option was available.... Showed up on a Thursday, loaded the truck wrong, so they had to leave to go reload. Guys standing around doing nothing, leave to go to lunch. Put the tent up, and leave. Chairs/tables never got cleaned, when they said they would clean them. Roof of tent had numerous holes in it, had the wrong linen colors, dance floor smelled like cat urine, 2 tables were broken, shorted us on cathedral curtains, and hung up one with zip ties, because the hooks were broke. Had to call off of work because of all the problems that needed to be fixed. Documented everything with photos, and they came back the next day (Friday) to fix the issues. Repaired the roof with white duct tape, replaced the broke curtain, and replaced the non cathedral curtain. Replaced the linens with the correct color, but still shorted us. They also stated there was nothing they could do about the dance floor. Washed tables and chairs, and left a large mound of dirty towels on the table, then left. They never snapped the curtains in place, and the wind blew the curtains in knocking over 2 decorated tables. Called to complain, and was told Ive been doing this for years! by the female who runs the place. She informed me they had someone on it to bring the right amount of table linens, who never showed up. Called again Saturday (day of the wedding) and was told the linens are on there way. They finally managed to show up shortly before the wedding started. My invoice stated that they would come pick the tent up on Sunday or Monday. So I made arrangements to be there, and they never showed. But when I was back to work Tuesday, they decided to pick the tent up. Instead of the tent being dropped off, and never having to see them until the day they pick it up... They were at the venue every day up until the big day. I sent an email explaining how unhappy I was with their service, and suggested a small refund fee would be appropriate, but the email was ignored. I waited close to a month for a response, and resent the email back to them, which was also ignored. The email is the email they have responded to me on, in the past. If youre going to run a business, your professionalism should be top priority, which in this case, it obviously wasnt. To have your crew set up run down and poor equipment, and make temporary fixes was ridiculous. To not even utter one word in response to a customer complaint, is by far the worst type of customer service. No apologies were made, no refunds were offered, absolutely no effort was given to make things right by Brothers Party Rental. Take it from me, steer way clear of this company. Spend a little extra and go somewhere else. In this case, cheaper was no way shape or form better. When you hear Brothers Party Rental... HEAD FOR THE HILLS AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

I have rented a tent for today, June 20th. It is 7:49 pm and STILL NO TENT!!! No communication from this company to give us any update on where they are or any estimated time of arrival - if at all.....I know have to try to make arrangements to seat 150 people throughout the day while Crown Tent Party Rental sits with my money!!!!The tent finally showed up at 9:30 p.m.

Rented 30 tables for a Fall Forum event. Tables arrived on time as agreed however tables were extremely dirty, stained and generally very poor appearance. We had to clean tables before setup. This was not dirt from a one time occurrence this was from prolonged poor maintenance..
