I visited this convenient drive thru store on Sunday November 20th 2016 to buy a pack of Marlboro Smooth shorts. The young lady came to the window, I told her what I needed, she stared at me awkwardly for a couple seconds and then told me my total was $5.76.. I proceeded to hand her $20.01. (I only had 3, $20 bills and a $1 dollar bill and some change) she came back and handed my money back folded up...now it doesnt take a math expert to know my change would have been and SHOULD have been $14.25.... However, due to my distraction of talking to my children, I didnt pay attention and put the folded up money straight into my wallet. Later, as I stopped at the store, I unfolded the change she had given me and low and behold... It was only $4.... I left the store immediately and went back to the tobacco store and they were already closed. I called first thing Monday morning (Nov.21, 2016) when they opened at 8am... spoke with the manager, whom I explained all of this to. He said he would check the drawer and speak with the young lady and call me back. And if the drawer was over he would return my $10. I knew it wouldnt be, but hoped maybe she was honest.... So here it is Wednesday November 23rd 2016 and I just got off the phone with the manager again, because he never returned a phone call. He informed me that the drawer was even and she had said she gave me back the correct change of $14.25.... She most certainly did not and I am livid. He says now that he will pull the cameras but I highly doubt I will see my $10 but, one can only hope. Moral of the story, if you want to chance buying from somewhere who employs a thief, then I highly recommend counting your change before you leave! 😠😡😲
