Fantastic local market with some of the best quality local produce and products. Local restaurants use this place for their produce, as do so many locals. All the plants are grown in Tennessee so are always acclimated to the area. Very helpful staff.

I am visiting Maryville from Austin for a bit and was DESPERATELY trying to find a local/natural grocers or a co-op with no luck for days. I was THRILLED when I walked into Horn of Plenty. Honestly I was thrilled just pulling in because I could tell this would finally be the place. It was a wonderful selection of produce that seemed to be locally sourced, as well as a small but terrific meat and dairy selection and a truly impressive array of jams/jellies/pickles, etc. I have family who live here in Merrillville and maybe spending more time here as a result and I am so grateful to know that this little gem is here!!

I used to really love this place when I first moved to Maryville, it was one of my favorite stores.The goods and wares are pretty much same no changes in price or quality.But the service has changed so drastically.The lovely ladies that ran the front have been replaced by a very prejudice older woman with a hat.Granted if you are older man or woman she is perfectly polite, but if you have tattoos or piercings and you rode up on a motorcycle, don’t be surprised if you are treated very rudely and with no common courtesy.I am not the only person she has treated like this. I used to really love this place but I am going to shop where people are not so prejudice of people of different cultures and backgrounds.

This market is the quintessential small town grocers. They are always so friendly and kind, with impeccable prices and delicious organic local produce. This place reminds me of summer, happiness, and a simpler time.

Decided to check this place out since my wife had fond memories of shopping here from when she was little with her mom. So our visit had a big bar to hold up to. Was very surprised at the selection available. Also some hard to find items such as the duck eggs. I found some other great produce as well. Yes it is more expensive than a large chain store, and their service fee is a bit high, but being a smaller business they do not get the discounts larger companies do on that stuff. It supports a great local business, and I will be back again.

Quite an interesting little market. It has a nice selection of garden plants (seasonal, I would imagine) outside. Inside youll find decent produce, canned goods, and goodies.

Nice little gardening and fresh food Oasis in the middle of Mayberry. Its small but mighty and has a good selection of fresh, unique and artisinal food and tasty snack items inside. It would be fair to say its a little overpriced, but you get what you pay for pretty much and you get to say you support small town business, and not the overtly wealthy Walmazon behemoths!

I firmly believe in buying local especially now. I understand that a small place will have a higher mark up and Im willing to pay this for a better product. However I am not willing to pay a 7% processing fee.Look at your receipt the next time you make a purchase there. I did and it will be the last time.

Fresh produce, fruit varieties apples lemons pears persimmons. Local baked goods. Nuts, relishes...lots of great choices. Christmas candies now with Christmas baskets and wreaths coming. Christmas trees arrive Monday Nov 16?. Wow. Grab a basket and enjoy local goodies, eggs, and more.

This is a great place to shop not just for produce, but local meats, cheeses, breads, everything! I love getting bread here and have made delicious open faced sandwiches with them at home. The registers are a little slow, but it’s worth the wait. Hidden gem!

Super cute place. beautiful to look at with all of the plants, even when just driving by. My family loves to go here for fun snacks, like dried pineapples. (I highly recommend giving them a try.)

First visit and was pleased with the selection of produce and products. The staff was polite and helpful. Would have given 5 stars but the Georgia peaches were a bit soft. Before I left new ones were being stocked. Will be back for sure.

The Horn of Plenty is a very special place! If you want consistently fresh produce, this is exactly what you are looking for. There is a great selection year round, and the quality of most items exceed the quality of products in a grocery store by far. In the late spring & summer, the flowers are beautiful and very well taken care of. You also cannot beat the selection of green beans from local farmers. I wouldnt shop anywhere else for my produce!

Love this place....fresh breads, vegetables and nice people

Great, helpful employees and all kinds of hard to find food and produce. Their flowers and shrubs have always come back the next year (be sure to follow planting instructions). If you have an unusual problem with a plant or shrub bought anywhere, they gladly assist customers. Their jelly, jams, molasses, Apple butter, etc, are great. Ask for help on anything they sell. Be sure to look in all nooks & shelves!

This lovely little market is right in the heart of Downtown Maryville. Its got that mom and pop feel to it. Its the perfect place to pick up breakfast on the way to work. Theyve got fresh veggies, fruits, baked goods, and more! What more could a guy ask for?

Always a pleasant experience. Friendly, helpful staff and the plants are always beautiful and well cared for. Nice selection of native plants too! Be sure to step inside and pick up a Cruze Dairy chocolate milk for the ride home.

First time there was nice lots of things to choose from very friendly people. Wednesday is senior discount day which is good.

Dont go to the grocer for your produce, come here. Every great meal starts with fresh grown ingredients. Service was great and the only reason checkout slowed was everyone telling them how many years they had been coming here again and again.

They always have a lovely assortment of fresh produce, and usually have a good selection of local baked goods. During the growing season there are plenty of plants to choose from, as well as a nice selection of garden flags.

We use their produce at Brackins, and I must say it is always of the freshest most reasonably sourced varieties available. Handled with care, displayed pleasingly, and tended by the helpful caretakers, this place has got what you need.
