Soon as I walked in the door the guy behind the counter made sure that all my information was updated with my account. He was very knowledgeable great customer service!!

I had just bought a play station from a pawn shop down the road and I went to game stop to grab a game quick, well I bought the game brand new for $35 and i got home and I put it in my ps4 I realized that the ps4 can’t read discs so I took it back the next day hoping to return it and get my money back well they said that even though it’s brand new they can’t refund it all they could do was give me $6.40 back, and they where pretty rude about it and this isn’t the first that they have done this, my sister bought a brand new game for $60 and returned it and she only got $10 back, game stop screws you over with your money .

I asked another customer for 6 ft, and their partner called me a slur. The wonderful person behind the counter stood up for me, even when the customer started getting heated. These situations arent fun, but thank you for making me feel valued and respected.

Assistant store manager keeps coming up with made up excuses to not take my business. Have no problem when I head to any other store. Had to go to Albert Lea for the third time in the past year because of some unwritten store policy, when Albert Lea has no issue at all and they welcome by purchases/trade ins.Very surprised he is still employed at this location.

Poor customer service here. They wouldnt honor the warranty I bought on a game that wasnt working that same day as said there was nothing they could do about it. Unbelievable.

There are so many people around who dont seem to quite grasp the concept of GameStop. They have a complete monopoly on used games in the area, as the closest store that isnt a game stop is nearly 2 hours away. They are good if you are buying new items, but anything pre-owned can be found for a much better price if you take 2 seconds to look online. The staff changes constantly, so any reference to them in reviews can be ignored. All things considered, the company as a whole is sub-par. They carry nothing older than 1 generation down, and after a while even that goes away, forcing customers to either upgrade to the latest console or be left with nothing. GameStop is not a used game store. They put too much emphasis on new items to even be considered as such. To anyone looking to expand their collection of older games, this is not the place for you. To all the 14 year olds who are in love with the trash that is battle royals games and CoD, go here and get ripped off because I could not care less about your generation of uncultured gamers.

Yes, I should have researched all I needed prior to purchasing a 3DS. However, the staff stated I could use a charger from my older unit. Get the sale and get them out the door is the impression I got from here. There is no other secondhand competition for video games anymore. Congrats to them on becoming the Walmart of videogame sellers.
